Located near the Historic Downtown Silver City we cater to those who appreciate something more than the typical 'motel' experience. Many of our guests are relocating to Silver City and others are visiting for local events such as the Tour of the Gila bike race, the Silver City Blues Festival or hiking or hunting in the Gila Forest/Wilderness. We are conveniently located within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more. Our recently remodeled rooms are very comfortable and well stocked. In addition there is a large outdoor common area with a patio and outdoor fireplace, barbecue grill, workshop and sufficient space for secure RV or large - vehicle parking.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is comfortable and clean with all we needed. There is a nice enclosed yard and covered outside area for eating and relaxing with a TV. There is a wooded creek running behind the property. It is a short walk to several restaurants and the Old Town Main St.
Amy communicated well with us before arrival and we met during our stay as she worked at the other house on the property. She suggested several nice areas for hiking / mountain biking and restaurant and nearby destination suggestions that we enjoyed. She also had info in the house on local attractions, restaurants, etc.
We would definitely come back and would like to stay longer and see more of Amy's suggested destinations..

Furthermore, Amy took great care to prepare everything for our arrival (house illuminated, fire going in the fireplace) so that we could enjoy a warm welcome in a cozy home. Perfect.

I’m at jury duty right now so this will be short and sweet but I cannot say enough about our stay. First of all, Amy is by far the most gracious host. The house is impeccable with everything you need. She’s so considerate. The grounds are so beautiful. The cat is so friendly. I cannot wait to go back. Unforgettable! Love you Amy!

First, the Bennett House is a huge value. For the price of a chain hotel, we stayed in a vastly superior 2-bedroom property with every amenity. It's a charming and nostalgic house, fully renovated and up-to-date for the 21st century. Price-wise, you cannot do better.
Beyond price; we loved the character; we loved living in an historic and diverse neighborhood right on the "Big Gulch." We loved being able to walk downtown safely and conveniently in just a few blocks, to enjoy the thrift stores, galleries, bars, and restaurants.
This is a property full of life. We loved the grounds with flowers and trees and serious attention to sustainability and conservation.
I am a foodie; the owner is also someone who loves to cook. The kitchen is over-the-top in terms of supplies
Finally, the owners were eager to help, eager to advise, and eager to give us the insider's perspective and experience on Silver City. Simultaneously, Amy was scrupulous about honoring our privacy and space. Perfect host.

There are so many great things to say about this property. First, the host, Amy is a warm, friendly and helpful person. She just made us feel so welcome the whole time we were there. The place has lots of room …a big kitchen, living room with TV, outdoor spaces that are inviting. Amy has outfitted this house with everything possible. If you think of something that you need and you don’t think it is there…you just have not looked well enough! There is a grocery store a couple minutes walk…so nice when you just need some things but don’t want to drive. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace at night. So cozy!! And did I say how wonderful the host, Amy, is? Book this one! It is a gem in all ways!!
