This completely renovated 2 or 3 bedroom home is a contemporary farm house located down a short private lane that reminds one of a bygone time just 2 miles from downtown Hendersonville. Guest are amazed at the at how quite and peaceful the setting is. The price listed is for 2 bedroom/2 bathroom (1 King Bed and 1 Queen Bed). PLEASE CONTACT if you would like details on the 3rd upstairs bedroom (King Bed). All bedrooms have private custom bathrooms, HD Smart TV, wireless Wi-Fi. There is a gourmet kitchen with a huge private deck for entertaining. Cleaning Pledge-Our cleaning team (Rosa and her crew) have done a terrific job over the years (15) keeping the places spotless. Featherstone was the perfect serene, secluded, and safe setting for our girls long weekend stay! So much attention and detail went into the well appointed kitchen that included cookbooks and anything you would need to create a gourmet meal. The decor was beautifully unique and welcoming with every amenity that we could need. The cottage was set privately off the road, but was within a short drive to downtown historic Hendersonville, Asheville, Flat Rock, Saluda, DuPont State Park and wonderful hiking trails and restaurants. Chad, our host, along with his dog Izzy, welcomed us and were readily available for any questions or recommendations. Best experience we’ve ever had!

This is our second stay at this location and when traveling to Hendersonville, it’s the only place we will stay. Such a great little house. It’s decorated so cute and you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. It’s furnished with anything and everything you may need. The location is great because it’s away from any congestion but close enough that you can visit nearby attractions within an hour or less. Chad is a great host and this time we were able to spend some time with his sweet dog that came for a visit. I highly recommend this to anyone that may be traveling to Hendersonville. Thank you Chad for another great visit.

Featherstone is tucked away on an expansive piece of property, giving it a rural feeling. The spacious house is beautifully furnished, equipped and decorated, and our interactions with Chad and Izzie contributed to our enjoyment. If there's a downside, it's that we would like to have had walking trails close-by, but there's plenty of hiking and walking a short drive away in every direction.

This is a beautiful property! It was extremely clean. Very thoughtfully decorated and cozy. Perfect location and near to a farm wedding we were attending in Hendersonville. We loved it and enjoyed the fire pit area as well. The communication was great. We appreciated having our own bedroom and bathroom as there are multiple suites.

This was my second stay at Featherstone and my first time staying at the Farm House. Chad and Izzy are great hosts! My cousin and I enjoyed a very relaxing week at this beautiful property. The house is immaculate, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is a cook’s dream! The beds were extremely comfortable. The heavier bed linens were appreciated since it was a very cold week!
The property is beautiful and feels secluded, all while being very close to Hendersonville’s city limits. There are so many things to see and do in the area. We hope to return again next year. Thank you, Chad, for another wonderful stay!

Hendersonville Delight
The Farmhouse was the perfect home for our family of three couples. The photos are true to the property but it is even more beautiful and spacious than expected. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything one might need to cook or bake! The large open floor plan and deck was great for our extended family to join us for a meal & visit. Plenty of seating yet small vignettes to enjoy each other.
This was a perfect location for our wedding event at Willow Falls & was easily accessible to DuPont, Brevard, Flatrock, Asheville & minutes from Hendersonville! Check-in/out was simple and we appreciate the easy communication with our host! Thanks Chad for sharing the FarmHouse. Our stay, truly was a delight!

We are already planning when we can go back to this house. Some of our favorite things are: All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, tvs's and ceiling fans! The bedrooms are large, the beds are super comfortable and there are plenty of extra blankets to adjust your comfort. The large patio off the living area was so relaxing and the kitchen is set up perfectly for a family getaway. It's in the perfect location, close to downtown but you still feel secluded. A chef's kitchen containing all one needs to make a big or small meal was provided with terrific lighting and multiple windows overlooking the beautiful lawn. Communications were effortless with the owner and check-in a breeze. The most welcoming hostess greeted us on arrival, Izzy, the owner"s very friendly and sweet black lab putting a big smile on my face. The beautiful farmhouse is 5 minutes from downtown Hendersonville or the delicious restaurants on Rainbow Row in Flat Rock (definitely check out the owner"s restaurant recommendations, especially Honey and Salt and Campfire Grill- yummy with kind staff), and approximately 15 minutes to waterfall hikes in Dupont. Jump Off the Rock is also a short drive (where we happened upon a wedding at the cliff's edge). I hope to return again and again to the farmhouse and also visit the other nearby rentals on the large property that looked lovingly restored as is the farmhouse. Many, many thanks to Chad and Izzy for a wonderful stay!!!
