Situated in Nelson, this attractive condo for $88 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to Willow Guest Suite. Just updated, but with 10 years experience, this vacation rental is a bright spacious 800 sq.ft., self-contained 1 bedroom plus den suite. Our vacation getaway is nestled against the mountains, at the edge of city limits and overlooks Kootenay Lake and the city of Nelson. You are now in the number 1 small arts town in Canada, and a 1 km walk to historic downtown Baker Street, with over 50 restaurants, eclectic music at various performing venues, and new Nelson Museum and Art Gallery. Our suite is very bright with large tall windows all trimmed in craftsman styled warm fir and open on the ground floor, with a private outdoor patio, a full kitchen (with fridge, stove, microwave & dishwasher), plus a roomy 4 pc. bath. A queen-sized extra comfortable bed in a private bedroom, soft and enjoyable cork flooring with in-floor heating, a private entrance, inviting gas fireplace to cozy up to after a long day of skiing , hiking or mountain biking. We have private parking adjacent to the Suite, Wireless Internet and we are Pet Friendly …with some restrictions With the Trans Canada trail in your backyard, you can mountain bike, hike or cross country ski from your doorstep. You are only 20 minutes away from the award winning powder skiing at Whitewater Ski Hill, a short ride to Backcountry lodges, or touring into the backcountry. Nelson is world renowned for mountain biking, but there are also beautiful beaches, extensive hiking trails, and an array of challenging golf courses nearby. We are truly a four season destination and our Willows Guest Suite is the perfect location for your adventuresome getaway or some R & R. Willow St. is a steep gravel access about 200 feet long. An all wheel drive or four wheel drive is recommended.

As a family with young kids, this place was so great. The kids had lots of space to explore and great walking paths near by. Very quick drive to downtown and suite location was quiet. Complimentary wine was also lovely 😀 We will definitely stay again. Great hosts!

This suite was everything we could have asked for. A very spacious and welcoming living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and everything was nicely placed. The suite was very clean and the bathroom was huge! Both bedrooms were large enough with plenty of space for hanging clothes, etc. Everything seemed to be taken care of and we really didn't want for anything. An absolutely great place to stay!
I would however strongly recommend an all wheel vehicle as the road up is a challenging climb.

Really nice place with great view.
Winter drive up/down steep driveway, so winter tires and 4-wheel drive is ideal. Owner does his best to sand driveway.

It was close to downtown. Lots of hills to maneuver both directions. Recommend you have 4-wheel drive to get up to the property, even in the summer. Very quiet and relaxing.

great first visit to Nelson
Nice 2 br basement suite with a patio with a little view of the lake. Right next to the rail trail, which made for great morning and evening walks. Reasonably well-equipped kitchen. Very relaxing all around. Easy drive into town, but also very walkable for those who don't mind walking up hill on the way back.

Really clean, well equipped place in an excellent location. We took our dog on the rail trail every day, just 100 metres away. Highly recommended!

Great place to Stay
The unit was exactly as advertised and very clean and comfortable. Great location for getting to town and to the rail trail. It is under the owners house so you can hear them moving around but they are mostly very quiet. We would definitely rent here again.

The suite had all what one could ask for, for the wonderful price.
Close to downtown Nelson but felt like it was miles away - which was great.
Great location. Minutes to the walking and biking trail...which was used daily by us.
Only 20 minutes walk to downtown.
What would have improved the experience was if we had the view of the river. Leaves on trees which created lovely shade and sounds, marred the view.
Having the owners upstairs was not an issue.

Peaceful and beautiful setting
We enjoyed our stay in Nelson. This property is situated in a lovely area close to nature and the community. The guest suite is spacious and comfortable. It is a great space to relax and visit all that Nelson has to offer.

We arrived on Christmas eve to a beautifully presented property and welcoming Christmas cookies and Christmas tree. The property is nice and quiet, absolutely picturesque. Nothing was a problem and the owners were great!
A short lovely walk landed us in stunning Baker St and a small taxi fare got us back up the hill :) We all were sad to leave and would love the opportunity to visit again! The apartment was well appointed!

Very pleasant stay
Location was great for walking the trail. We hope to come back in the fall when we can take advantage of the hiking and biking trails. Suite was very nice and comfortable for the two of us.

Cosy and private home away from home!
We stayed at this VRBO for three weeks while we explored the Nelson area. We found it cosy, welcoming and quite private. It backs onto the Trans Canada Trail (and lots of mountain biking/hiking) and has spectacular views of Nelson and the lake. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Another Awesome visit at our 'home away from home' in Nelson
This was our 4th time staying at the Willow Guest Suite. Andy and Catherine are wonderful hosts. The suite is the perfect location overlooking the City and so close to town. There are walking trails up to the right of the property but we've always had too much to do to take time to explore them.
We came to Nelson to Celebrate our 1st Anniversary as we got married here last year at this time. We really like Jacksons Hole for dinner, or the Hume hotel.
