About this house rental
Nestled in Fairbanks, this charming house for $574 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Stay in this amazing tudor mansion, set on a hill over looking Fairbanks. This 6,500 sq ft beautiful home feels like you`ve stepped into a fairy tale. We are happy to stock food and anything you want for your stay before you check in. The manor is full disinfected before and after every guest. The fireplace in the great room in winterized and not for use by guests but the fireplace in the master and den are gas. Guests can use these by turning them with the remotes. During the winter you must rent a 4 wheel drive or AWD vehicle as the manor is located on a hill. Events and parties are not allowed, please contact us with any questions. We were born and raised in Fairbanks and can help with planning your trip to Alaska. We would love to help give you suggestions for things to do in the area and even know some of the guiding services. Let us know what your interests are and we can help you with options for some fun adventures. Products provided by the host may be different than shown in the pictures due to avaiablility. Guests will have access to the whole house, except the garage. This house boasts 6 bedrooms. A massive master suite, family suite, 2 private bedrooms with a shared bathroom all on the upper level. The main floor has a library bedroom with an adjacent bathroom, 2 half bathrooms, pub room with a full sized bar, dinning room, chef`s kitchen, laundry room and the incredible great room with six crystal chandeliers. This unique space can host a large group or an intimate gathering, with 6500 square feet, and a large outdoor space, there are lots of possibilities. Its grand staircase and vaulted ceilings will wow you. The amazing house has a master suite, a family suite with bunk beds , private double bedroom, a library guest room, a room with a queen and single bed. There is a family room with built in day beds and a private bar. We also have flex single beds that can be moved to any rooms. -We have 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, 1 double bed, a bunk bed, a twin trundle bed, a queen sized futon, a twin bed and 4 movable twin beds. -There is one master suite with a tub and a shower, a family suite with two connected rooms sharing a bath with a shower, there is a hall bathroom with a tub shower combo that 2 of the upstairs bedrooms share and the library room on the main floor has a bathroom adjacent to it with a stand up shower. -There are also 2 additional half bathrooms on the main level. -There are a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. - The mansion has a great room, a den with a full private bar, a formal dinning room, a seating nook, chefs kitchen and a huge laundry room. Uber and Lyft are options however we recommend that guest rent a 4wheel drive or an all wheel drive.

This mansion in the hills took us back in time to an era of rich luxury with custom detailed woodwork everywhere and 7 chandeliers. Every space was well-appointed and plenty of room for our party of 9. Large library bedroom downstairs perfect for less mobile guest. Master, 2 bedrooms and large kids’ room all up the gorgeous staircase with a set of butler’s stairs in the back to the kitchen and laundry areas. Every bed was comfortable and every bathroom had its own charm. The woodwork throughout was gorgeous. The kitchen and bar were both exquisite and the location very private (rent a car to get here). It was like being on a movie set where everything was just perfect and you can just imagine Sherlock Holmes, Bridgerton, or The Secret Garden being filmed there. Teens agreed it was Instagram-worthy. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond to our inquiries. Highly recommend if you’re in Fairbanks with a larger group!

The Manor is absolutely gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is so spacious and everyone had plenty of space. The snow was so beautiful all over the grounds. We are southerners and had never seen that much snow. Loved this house

This house is fantastic! Well stocked kitchen, including spices and plenty of dishes. Beds were comfy for everyone. We saw the Northern Lights over the house a few nights in a row. We bought sleds and went down the hill at the house. So fun for my 50th birthday!! I have not been to a VRBO that had complimentary beer and wine. I highly suggest this house and will probably book it again.

The Huffman Manor was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas Vacation! It is well maintained and stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. We had 11 people staying for a week and everyone had their own space but also has perfect spaces for everyone to hangout together. We were able to see the Northern Lights on multiple nights right from the end of the driveway!! A perfect place to stay for the trip of a lifetime!! Thank you!!

Traveling with family to see the northern lights… didn’t actually get to see them but the place made it worth the trip. Will likely be returning. I particularly liked the downstairs bedroom so I didn’t need to brave the stairs. I highly recommend!

This location was suitable for our group - the house has many rooms, so for large groups you can have your privacy if that is what you are looking for. For the one bedroom you must walk thru the bathroom and another bedroom to exit. The exterior could use some TLC with the landscaping and exterior maintenance. The house is fairly stocked with the items you will need. The pans have seen a better day - as everything will stick. The location is about 12 minutes from downtown, which worked very well for us and the excursions we planned.

House is as advertised. We were four couples, longtime friends, who came together in Alaska for a little adventure and a lot of visiting. Kitchen was great for breakfast grazing and a couple family style dinners. The bar lounge room and the great room were great for visiting and one evening of pictionary.
The location was convenient to shopping, dining and adventures, but remote enough to be able to enjoy the woods and scenery. We also enjoyed a moose that hung out in the neighborhood and let us take photos!

This house has it all! The best stocked home we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot of different places. Everyone enjoyed the home and the location. We even had a moose come in and pose for about an hour right out back - perfect for the southern CA visitors! The driveway hill was well traversed with daily sledding time (we brought a couple more sleds) and it was overall very comfortable and well thought-out. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This house has it all! The best stocked home we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot of different places. Everyone enjoyed the home and the location. Great property - large enough for 2 families to be able to get away from one another. Wonderful venue. Be warned that if you book a stay in late July/August there is no air-conditioning so the upstairs can get quite warm. After all - it's Fairbanks! Other than that it was exactly what we needed to relax between our sight-seeing trips.

Great property - large enough for 2 families to be able to get away from one another. Wonderful venue. Our family of 12 came to witness our grandson graduating from UAF. This was a very wonderful home that was able to fit all 12 people extremely comfortably. Everything was great about this rental. If we are ever in Fairbanks again, we will for sure use the mansion.

My High Expectations Were Exceeded
We rented this property for a group of 13 high school seniors on a trip of a lifetime! The 90th birthday party was a hit. The mansion was great and we had so much fun.

What an amazing trip we had, and the property was all as advertised. Can easily sleep 21 with an amazing kitchen, kids room, amenities, location, and contact with the owner. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for a family....we only had 6, but would defitinely bring all the kids and grandkids back again....or a bunch of friends. Extremely clean, well maintained and furnished and delightful!! Nothing but exceptional things to say....you can believe the VRBO presentation!

Beautiful House
Rented this house for our adult group vacation in Fairbanks. Absolutely gorgeous property. House was very clean, and accommodated our large group perfectly. Location could not have been better, as we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anything in town. Had the opportunity to view the northern lights from the back yard perfectly!!
Only thing I wish we had known, was about the no shoes in the house. We purchased socks with grips, but not before one of our group had an incident on one of the staircases. She was ok in the end, and the grip socks were a life saver. Just wish we had known to have them from the beginning.
Overall we could not have asked for a more perfect location or gorgeous house. Would highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group coming to the Fairbanks area.

Beautiful but missing a few things
Overall, the house is just lovely and very spacious. The rooms just keep coming! It was clearly set up for a great event space. The owner was responsive from start to finish.
My disappointments were small, but somewhat noteworthy. We could find no remote for the TV and it seemed to be connected only to a DVD player and not any service. There were several windows with cracks in them. Not enough rooms had blackout curtains which was tough in August when you're used to dark for sleeping! There was no soap in the bathrooms for the showers.
