Nestled in Santa Rosa, this attractive cottage for $152 per night is a great option for your next break. This adorable property has a delightful bedroom offering a queen bed with a quality mattress, a choice of pillows and high quality linens. You will find plenty of closet space and lots of coat hangers. The bathroom is spacious with a large walk in shower, hair dryer, plenty of storage and towels as well as a washer and dryer. In the living room you will find a love seat, coffee table and a queen sofa bed as well as a flat screen smart television. We also have a DVD player with a selection of movies, guide books and a collection of novels for your enjoyment. You will find a small closet with an iron and ironing board and some additional hanging space for clothing. The bright and roomy kitchen opens out to a beautiful spacious deck. The deck is furnished with high quality patio furniture and market umbrellas for shade and offers beautiful open views! There’s even a gas barbecue grill for Al Fresco dining on those evenings that you just want to stay home. Inside you will fine a table with four chairs, a refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, a toaster oven, a pop up toaster, a microwave oven, a Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle, a blender and small Crockpot. The kitchen offers plenty of storage, and everything you will need for a comfortable vacation including salad bowl, serving bowls, glasses, silverware, dinnerware, some basic pantry items, and a small selection of pots and pans. This property has central heating and air conditioning. Wine Country Retreat is only five minutes away from Sonoma Valley where you will find many wonderful award winning wineries and restaurants. If you are a keen mountain biker, you can cycle right from the vacation home into Annadel State Park. Our property is also very close to Spring Lake Regional Park, Sugar Loaf Ridge, Hood Mountain and Jack London State Park. Within a half hours drive, you can get to Napa and all that is on offer there. The climate here in Wine Country is one of the area's many distinguishing features. We have stunning sunny and dry weather for most of the year, making Sonoma County very popular with vacationers. People come to Wine Country to experience our local food and wine culture, as well as our stunning scenery, trails, beaches, lakes, and mountain biking. Choosing Wine Country Retreat as your vacation home will allow you to experience Wine Country the way the locals do. Jacqui, the owner of this property can set you up with 2 for1 wine tasting vouchers upon request. The property has its own entrance, it is attached to the main house. This is not a detached unit.

Everything about staying at the Wine Country Retreat was easy and comfortable. The location was perfect! You’re a quick drive to Sonoma wineries, easy access to Calistoga, and just a 40 minute drive to Armstrong Redwood State Preserve! The host here has literally everything you could ever need and more, the space was so charming! We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at Wine Country Retreat and we are looking forward to next time. The property location is ideal for exploring Sonoma County and for relaxing at your "home away from home". Jaqui is a wonderful host and has provided every amenity you could want. Located in a residential setting, but within minutes to all the area has to offer. Absolutely recommend!

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed 4 nights in this beautiful home and loved it! The space is clean and comfortable and Jacqui was quick to respond to any questions I had. Felt very private even though it is attached to the owner’s home. We felt very safe and “at home” right away. There are no negatives about the home, and I would recommend it to anyone.

We’ve been looking for a good spot to stay for extended visits with family in Santa Rosa (we’re from Seattle) and we’ve FOUND it! Jacqui’s place is extremely nice and the private deck is heaven. The place is very well stocked to meet any need, especially the large kitchen. Also loved the location in a safe upscale neighborhood. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Bright unit and nice deck. As others note, spotless. Owners were interesting, congenial, and available as needed (which was just our request for them to drop by for a visit. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a good trail. Nearby to wineries but, for us, their recommendation to go to the Jack London properties at Glen Ellen (between Santa Rosa and Sonoma) was the real prize for us.

Very quiet place in a safe neighborhood. Location is situated to enjoy what Sonoma and Santa Rosa have to offer in terms of entertainment. Everything you might need during your stay is available. The deck is wonderful and has a wonderful view.

This property is by far the cleanest and best equipped place l I’ve ever stayed in. The setup is very comfortable and you can tell that the owners work hard to help you feel at home. The only thing I will say to note is that this is a guesthouse attached to the owners house, so if you’re not comfortable with that this may not be the place for you. The owners are very friendly and helpful, though, so it personally was not an issue for me. Definitely would stay here again!

The guest unit was the perfect place to stay for my work trip. It was clean, well stocked, and maintained the perfect level of privacy. It is located near wonderful restaurants, as well as all grocery stores, shopping, and all the beautiful wineries in Sonoma Valley.

We stay in short term rentals 4-5 times a year. I think Wine Country Retreat is the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned and executed. Communication was quick and helpful. The neighborhood is attractive and quiet. We could not have been more pleased with our stay!

The cottage win treat was an amazing place to stay. We spent 4 days in the Napa/Sonoma valley driving to many vineyards, the napa wine train, and hot air ballooning in Sonoma. Highly recommend. Jacqui was an amazing host and we even had the pleasure of meeting her dog Molly ! The cutest little Yorkie and easily one of our favorite highlights.

This is a great location for those visiting the area. A quiet neighborhood that was close to all that Sonoma and Napa offer. An easy drive back and forth to the Napa Valley from this site. We would recommend this location to anyone.

Perfect Home away from home. Jacqui was unbelievably accommodating and so sweet. Her little dog Molly was the sweetest and helped us not miss out Mt dogs so much. Our stay felt super comfortable and safe with everything that we needed and then some. Pictures are exactly as it shows, but it’s even prettier in person. We will be back.

Jacque thought of every amenity, comfort and provision you might need for relaxed stay. A quiet and attractive neighborhood conveniently located made our touring easy Her welcoming gesture of a bottle of wine was a preview of all the touches that allowed us to quickly settle and enjoy a gorgeous area. This was one of the very best VRBO properties we have visited. All was pictured and described or better.
