The Viking is located at 23A Water St. in Historic Crow Head on Twillingate Island. 1 bedroom with full kitchen, living room and a 3 piece bath and most importantly a stunning view of Notre Dame Bay and its rugged coastline. If you love painting, photography, hiking, leisurely strolls along the beach or just sitting and gazing out at the mighty North Atlantic then you won’t go away disappointed. A view of Salmon Rock never lets you leave without showing you its majestic side. From crystals dancing on the shining ocean with the possibility of spotting an iceberg or a whale to a sunset that will leave you breathless and then seduce you with crashing waves of the North Atlantic and then you can cap it off with a beverage and maybe if it’s the right time of the month a full moon shimmering its light across Long Beach. The possibilities are endless.
Settle in at the end of an adventurous day and have a restful night in The Viking Bedroom on a bed that far exceeds that of the Viking days. Dreams do come true!

We loved the view, but the comfy sheets and bed, and the great shower and fully stocked kitchen made it even better! It's very close to Sleepy Cove, and the Lighthouse where we could see Icebergs, so we popped up there often.

The Viking is an immaculate property with the front row seat to the ocean. Ann & Mike were excellent to deal with. We didn’t understand that the laundry facilities were not in our actual accommodation but Ann was gracious to open up access to the washer/dryer on our arrival. The view is the best part - we watched whales and gannets and icebergs from the living room. You’ll want for nothing staying here. We would stay again for sure.

The Viking exceeded our expectations. It is a gem of a find. I would highly recommend the Viking to anybody that is visiting Twillingate. The view is spectacular and the hosts are very gracious.

Wonderful loft apartment looking out over the ocean! Great hiking trails right from this location. Host greeted us with key and tour of space. Spotless and beautifully decorated. Recommendations for restaurants appreciated. Very comfortable bed and full kitchen with all needed to prepare a meal. Highly recommend
