Kozy Kai was exactly what we were hoping for - and so much more! It was a perfect location with great beach access for our family, including snorkeling right out front! Great villa with everything you'd need!

We booked Kozy Kai Sealodge 17 for our 40th anniversary trip. We wanted a place on the beach with privacy and away from the main traffic. Sealodge 17 was perfect for us. It was super clean as advertised, had all the amenities we needed. I will note the icemaker in the freezer was not working, but no big deal, we grabbed a bag of ice at the grocery up the road and used that. Like everyone else's reviews we read the patio/lanai was the star of the show, we spent so much time out in the patio just relaxing and watching the water. The AC outlets in the patio were not working but we were able to run an extension cord out the door, again, not as big deal. And the beach, OMG, right out the door. Sealodge 17 is the closest to the water and we think the best unit there. And on the beach, there are 4x very well constructed Tiki shades and commercial quality loungers to use. We never had a problem getting a place on the beach and we only seen 3 other groups at various times. Like others have said, you pretty much have the beach to yourself. The water out the door is good, but there is some sea grass to deal with, we used water shoes and it really wasnt a problem. It was great being able to go right out the back door and into the water. Having the washer/dryer was a plus and its out the front patio and very convenient. There were 2 newer AM mini-splits in the home, one in the living room/kitchen and one in the bedroom and we loved that and they worked great, no issues with getting as cool as you want. Also there are ceiling fans in the bedroom and main rooms, very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay in this villa and would come back again. Sissy, the property manager was a pleasure to talk to and she made sure we were taken care of during our stay (thank you Sissy!!). The villa is in walking distance to Rum Point and a short ride to Starfish point. There is a small grocery a little way down the road and it has a bit of everything including ice cream, beer, and liquors. Our only negative is its a pretty long ride to the SMB/Georgetown area (about 45min), but we knew that going in and all the things we had planned for Georgetown, and the West End area we consolidated into days 1-3 and so we had days 4-7 without any long drives. This is the place if you want to be away from all the 'people' and have a beach to yourself and a clean and comfortable villa with amazing water views and right on the beach!! we loved it...
