Located in Georgia, this charming cabin for $175 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. FULLY FURNISHED RUSTIC LOG CABIN ON TROUT STREAM w/ WIFI Wet a line from your back deck! This trout angler's paradise, located on the banks of famous Fightingtown Creek, has all the comforts of home. They don't build 'em this close to the water anymore! NO PETS. Sleeping up to 4 people on queen beds.This 1 bedroom, 1 full bath cabin has a large sleeping loft, with 2 queen beds, overlooking the spacious living room with cathedral ceiling & wood-burning fireplace. Master Bedroom has a queen bed, as well. A large upper deck w/gas grill, porch swing, rocking chairs, dining table with umbrella, and HOT TUB!!! Also, enjoy the splendor of the creek from the lower level deck that extends out over the trout stream!! DISH Satellite TV/DVD/VCR, central heat & air, Hot Tub, Dryer only. This cabin is located directly beside the trout fishing stream. Relax in the jetted hot tub while overlooking a private view of the clear rambling stream, rhododendrons, mountain laurel & open sky. No cabins across stream!! VERY PRIVATE! Not a hot tub person? Sit back in rocking chairs or swing while listening to the rushing water over the mountain rocks. This cozy retreat comes with a 2 story woodburning stone fireplace. This is a true rustic log cabin, tastefully decorated, with all amenities. Open dining area. Kitchen has breakfast bar with 2 barstools. Kitchen is fully furnished, even for the gourmet cook! Don't enjoy cooking? Catering is available either delivered to the door, or cooked at the cabin. Lots of restaurants nearby. Many recreational activities year round include: white water rafting (all levels),float (tubing) the Toccoa river, fishing, boating on Lake Blue Ridge (approximately 4 miles-boat rentals available), antique shopping, Scenic Railway Rides (3 miles-Downtown Blue Ridge), horse back riding, biking, hiking, golf and more! This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin in quaint, clean & just perfect! We love being right on the water and the hot tub is great too! Being under the stars is worth it. The porch swing & rockers are fantastic to just sit & listen to the river running downstream. We will be back again! Julie is a great host! Very responsive & helpful!

This cabin is great, it has a very cozy feeling with the fireplace and it is right on the creek. It’s close to all the stores and shopping. Julie is a great host and the house has everything you need for your stay.

My family enjoyed our fall getaway at this cabin so much! The cabin itself is just beautiful and the view of the stream right off the back porch was an added bonus. We loved hearing the water running and bubbling over the rocks even from inside - so soothing! Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and town is close enough to easily drive for meals out. My favorite times were relaxing on the back porch swing enjoying the stream and cozying up inside by the fire watching movies with the kids. After we left the owner let us know that the house cleaner had found my daughter's favorite stuffed animal she had left behind and they are being so kind to mail it to us. Really wonderful people and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun getaway!

This place was way better than the pictures described! It was perfect for our couple's getaway, but we plan to return with family. Perfect location to town and also on the river!

Overall the house was a perfect size for a small family. Comfortable beds, hot tub was ready to go when we got there and Julie was always quick to respond. Cabin is super close to the town and grocery stores. The view was beautiful and being on the creek was relaxing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great mountain cabin in Blue ridge.

This quaint little cabin nestled right on the water was exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful view of the water from the covered deck was perfect. The directions to the cabin and how to navigate the driveway was perfect; we had no issues at all. We definitely will be staying here again!

My husband and I invited a long time friends couple to come with us to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. They gifted us by cooking all the meals and the kitchen had everything they needed. The cabin decor was beautiful. The sofas and beds we’re comfortable and my favorite thing was using the ceiling heater in the bathroom coming out of the shower. We played nightly games of UNO and LCR on the large dining table. We all so enjoyed the cabin’s peaceful location and relaxing sound of the stream right off the decks. I enjoyed watching the tiny but active fish, took great shaded naps on the porch swing and read my book bathing in the sun at the patio table set, being visited by a little green hummingbird from time to time. My husband and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great experience.

The home was great. No fish in the stream, we were not able to get the TV to work. The owner said it was working now . We probably didn’t know how to make it work. The driveway was very challenging. We enjoyed the time. Property is very well kept.

The property was exactly as pictured, and very clean and comfortable. And the porch/deck that overlooks the stream is very relaxing. We spent the majority of our time on the porch and ate dinners on the deck. The cabin is very convenient to all of the shops and restaurants in Blue Ridge. It’s surprising how close everything is because you’d never know it while you’re at the cabin. The only thing you can hear outside is the babbling stream. It’s a really peaceful setting.

Julie Shelton, the host, was absolutely amazing. She provided great prep and even called before we arrived to make sure we were set. The cabin is amazing! It was clean, well appointed, and of course is on a beautiful stretch of Fightingtown Creek. We loved the accommodations, the setting, and the rainbow trout! We can’t wait to book a return.

My wife and I have been to quite a few cabins and this by far is our favorite. The whole cabin was fantastic with plenty of options to do whatever you want to do. The back deck right on the water was where we spent most of our time. As Julie said in her very informative welcome package, this is "a little slice of Heaven" and she is 100 percent correct. Already looking at dates to come back and can't wait. Highly recommended!!

This house was amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. My husband and I stayed Monday through Friday for our anniversary and as soon as we got here it felt like time slowed down. The cabin was extremely clean. Couches and downstairs bed were comfy. The view of the stream from the back deck (upstairs and downstairs) was so relaxing. I saw some reviews say the road/driveway was impossible for a car but we had no problems at all. Directions were very clear. It’s a narrow gravel road so you obviously can’t drive like you’re on a paved road but it was very easily navigated. We didn’t get in the stream but could tell it was easily accessible. The hot tub was clean and perfectly clear. We spent every early morning and late evening in the hot tub. Host was so quick with replies. Even before we came, I asked for restaurant suggestions and she gave great ones. We take at least two short trips per year in addition to our annual family vacation and this has been our new favorite place. We love it so much that on our last day we actually booked this house again for our trip in January. I honestly can not say anything negative about this house.

Property just as described but you need to see it in person. We followed directions without any problems at all. The cabin had that real cabin smell upon entering, love the wide wood plank floors. Sitting on the porch seeing and hearing the sound of the water, was so relaxing. My husband and I got in the river. It was cold as expected, fished, used the hot tub and loved it. We had a short 2 night stay but will return.

We liked the cabin and the conveniences. TV instructions were lacking and didn’t say to turn on the access via a switch inside the tv cabinet. Trout is nearly impossible due to the high and rough banks that inhibit access to the stream and overhead tree limbs.

We enjoyed this property so much! Husband and I along with our two young adult children from FL had a great trip and enjoyed the quiet, beautiful location as home base for hiking, rafting, shopping etc. Even a car that wouldn’t start one morning didn’t dampen our stay and we enjoyed extra porch and creek time while waiting for mechanic:)

My family had the best time on our vacay at the cabin on the creek. It’s probably our favorite cabin that we’ve ever stayed at. My husband and I lived out on that deck, rocking and swinging while my kids played in the creek—it’s cold! We were sad to leave, but definitely would love to come back.

Julie’s cabin is nothing short of peaceful and relaxing. It’s rustic, but that is part of the charm. Plenty of nearby “luxury glamping” spots for those who prefer updated accommodations. We did not expect to need to bring our own essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, and dish soap) since that was not noted on the listing, but rather provided in the cabin instructions a few days prior to check in. Not a huge deal, we just added it to our packing list but would’ve been nice to know ahead of time on the vrbo property listing page. Same for the washing machine - while we did not need or plan to use one - it would have been nice to know ahead of time that it was not an available amenity. A sponge for hard-to-clean dishes and an extra set of towels would have been nice since we stayed for 4 nights. Otherwise everything was so perfect and appreciated. The hot tub, privacy, creek access and view was perfection. We had no issues accessing the water to tube from the property, and took out at nearby bridges. Thank you Julie for making this special place available!

If you're looking for a true getaway this is a place to pick. Secluded,and right on top of a stream. While there were cabins nearby, there was enough foliage to hide them so you wouldn't really know they're there unless you looked hard. While it was a little bit of a challenge getting to the cabin, the owner provided explicit driving instructions so it made it easy. Enjoyed the stay!

The cabin was beautiful. The location was gorgeous. The road and driveway getting in and out... Totally sucks! You need a four wheel drive. I drove my truck thankfully but the driveway is too small. I dented my bumper trying to get in.

My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at the cabin. The cabin is not only cute, but is located in an amazing spot. The creek flowing by totally washed our cares away. We were completely relaxed! The cabin was immaculately clean, and the hosts were attentive to all of our questions. I 100% would recommend this cabin to our family and friends. In fact, I would love to stay at the cabin again for our 36th anniversary!

My son and I enjoyed a guys adventure weekend--whitewater rafting, hiking, train riding, and squatch hunting. But we left plenty of time for porch sitting at the cabin, listening and watching the creek. Everything we needed in the cabin was available and we made liberal use of the hot tub and grill. My husband and I stayed Wednesday to Saturday.
Julie is a very attentive host. She has made sure to have everything at the cabin that a person needs to be comfortable. The cabin is clean,and has a very nice vibe, you feel right at home. (Which we don’t always when we rent cabins)
We stayed in the downstairs bedroom, and found the bed to be very comfortable.
We stocked up on supplies before we went to the cabin, and never left again until we checked out.
The drive-way isn’t a big deal. We drive a Dodge Charger, and we had no issues.
The cabin experience that we had was next to magical. We really enjoyed powering down for a few days. I worked on my photography, ( it’s just a beautiful spot) and my husband read, BBQ’d, sat in the hot tub, and took naps. Sitting on the deck and taking in the creek does not get old. Ever. I love how the Creek gets its name. That’s a good Google.
So we don’t have a lot of events to tell you about on this trip, we came for the cabin, and the space did not disappoint. I spent the rest of my time sitting in the hot tub while I looked down on the water, watching flowers and leaves float across the little rapid, lol So, just to say, we’ve been to the area a lot, and love the Apple Orchard, and of course Blue Ridge, so there’s lots of stuff close by to do, like the Ocoee River is always fun, but this trip we went off the grid, and it will be a trip that will cherish by us for a very long time. This cabin is good for the Soul. 🙏

My husband and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary while at the cabin. We loved the back porch, sitting in the rocking chairs, and listening to the water. The hot tub was amazing and was very clean. We cooked all our meals at the cabin, with the exception of one. We wanted a relaxing weekend to unwind, and that is exactly what we got. Julie was very accommodating and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.
