It is clean, comfortable and in the heart of downtown Salida. Walk to all activities - shopping, eating, art galleries, antique stores. The arkansas river and riverside park are 1 block away. Kid friendly, pet friendly! This home has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms have queen beds, 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds), there is a blow-up mattress that sleeps another 2. There are 2 full bathrooms. The master bath has a soaker tub and separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and everything you need to make home cooked meals. There is an outdoor patio area with a bbq grill. There are 2 off-street parking spots and room for other vehicles on the street.

The location is fabulous. We walked into town often as well as across the river on the trails. The drive to Monarch for skiing is beautiful and under 30 minutes. It was a great place to spend the holidays with our adult children and daughter-in-law. Would definitely stay there again. Wendy was very responsive to questions we had. Great place!

Really liked the property location, and that is was very well stocked in the kitchen, and it had a working fridge water dispenser! I used that a lot. The check-in and check-out procedures were very user friendly. I would recommend this place!

The home is absolutely what we were looking for! The check in process and communication with the manager was seamless. We enjoyed the wi-fi and tv apps. The kitchen had all the functionality needed to make meals. The location is amazing! We were able to enjoy walking to the riverwalk and playing at the park with the kids! Wendy took the time to make a binder with all kinds of helpful information. The BBQ grill was perfect. I would suggest a privacy type fence and maybe a grassy area? Thank you so much!

We loved the open floor plan of the house and the proximity to the downtown area and Riverside Park. All very walkable. Dog-friendly was also a plus. Will definitely reserve again in the future.

We loved staying at this house! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location is The Best! Right across the street from the park and Riverwalk and a block from downtown. We enjoyed the riverwalk trail, walking to town and all the wonderful restaurants nearby.

We frequent the area and have always enjoyed staying in the country. Occasionally we will stay in town and walk everywhere for everything, and this is a great location for that activity. You can walk literally everywhere to find everything you need right from the front door!
The house is very spacious and clean with all the homey accommodations, including a washer and dryer for the occasions you just don't pack enough.
We will be back. The family voted this trip best of Thanksgiving trips!

Such a wonderful home for our weekend in Salida! Especially loved the well equipped and clean kitchen! House was a great temperature, all the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Thank you for extra towels and pillows, too! We loved being right next to Riverside Park for the playground and walking! For a property that allows pets I didn’t notice any signs or smells of other pets, which was also nice!

We had a wonderful time visiting Salida and white water rafting. We were able to walk everywhere (except the rafting) from this location. My highest priority was location, and this home fit the bill perfectly.

The property was well organized with many thoughtful amenities (shampoo, laundry soap etc.); more consideration could be given to back yard and patio furniture due to stability on the rocks. Since there is no a/c the airflow made the night’s unbearable. Beds and furnishings were also extremely hard and uncomfortable, which caused sleepless nights.
The location was great and convenient and the home was spacious which allowed comfort for all family members to relax.

The carpet is worn and disgusting. I tried to vacuum and the vacuum didn’t spin. The towels have stains all over them. The shower head in the master is basically a calcified water hose and the master bed is creaky, old and ungodly uncomfortable. The pillows are completely flat. Oh and my favorite part is that literally all but two window locks were busted, and unlocked. I had to take a knife to them to lock them.

Location close to riverside park was perfect for our 2 year old grandson. Cute town with lots to do. Because of Covid we cooked in and wished for some baking dishes, but overall a positive experience. Would definitely rent this house again.

Loved the great location in downtown Salida. It was within walking distance to the river/beach and shops. The house is clean but it has very worn carpet, and the shower heads and threadbare towels bring it down a notch in my opinion.

Great property, everything was as described. Shower heads could use upgrading and there were no trash bags. We bought a box of trash bags for future guests. Thanks for a nice stay!
