Working with Bev was a smooth process and would recommend the Vidanta grand Luxxe if you want a resort with lots of amenities and things on property to do. The check in and check out process is not the best but once there it was a great time.

We have stayed at this resort before, but never in the grand Lux residence. Attention to detail is impeccable, the people Concierge ,shuttle driver , everyone is so nice and accommodating. The unit is over 5000 ft. and fit our family of 12 very comfortably. So much to do at this resort you never really want to leave. Bev, the property owner was very helpful lots of communication before we arrived. I would definitely rent this property again

This is the second time we have rented from Bev. It is a fantastic Rental. Nothing this place does not have. If you are a golfer, this is the ultimate. On top of the building is a private pool with wonderful service from Luis and Danielle. On the bottom is the pro shop, and the most wonderful restaurant with incredible breakfast burritos. The caddies Elijio and Miguel were so amazing. My golf game much improved with a caddy. I cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you so much Bev for another amazing vacation!

We had an amazing week staying at the Grand Luxxe Residences with two other families. There was plenty of space in the condo for the six adults and five teenage boys in our group, although we spent most of the time when we were in the condo in the spacious outdoor living room, which is much more than a patio (the views!). The boys and adults alike had plenty to do given the numerous pools, the beach, and resort amenities. For the adults, the rooftop pool was a favorite, with a smaller crowd, great service, and good food. The workout facilities are excellent and we got a ton of exercise walking to and from the beach, something we appreciated. For those who aren't so thrilled with all of the walking, there are what seems like hundreds of shuttles to drive you wherever you want to go. We took one big shopping trip to the nearby Walmart for food and snacks, which the resort staff made very easy for us in terms of figuring out transportation and then carrying our purchases to the residence. We supplemented that trip with food from the grocery store at the resort and had a number of delicious meals at the resort restaurants (Quinto was our favorite). I know that another reviewer was uncomfortable with the elevators opening onto the unit, but this was complete non-issue for us. At no point did it ever feel unsafe or like someone could wander into our unit uninvited. In fact, the resort and the building itself felt very safe and secure. If you choose to attend the timeshare breakfast, prepare to be courted in a one-on-one setting rather than a large group. We were given a 10% discount on all of our resort purchases for going, but we ended up spending at least three hours (not 60 minutes, as promised) saying were weren't prepared to make an on the spot decision to no fewer than six salespeople. Not only that, we still aren't entirely sure what we would be getting for our investment. We now have a new definition for what high-pressure sales looks like! Not sure it was worth the discount. Bev made the coordination a breeze, too. She helped arrange transportation from the airport, tee times, and shared info about dinner and spa reservations. I highly recommend working with her. While this was definitely not a uniquely Mexican vacation, it was easily one of the best beach vacations we have had. If you are looking for a cultural exchange, this may not be for you. But if you want sunshine, beach, and luxurious accommodations, this is the place!

First and foremost, I would like to say the owner of this property was great to deal with every step of the way. She gave us information in advance, booked golf and spa appointments for us and couldn't have been nicer. Thanks Bev. Our room, a 4 bedroom at the Grand Luxe Residence was beautiful. The view from the 8th floor was breathtaking, with a deck the was spectacular. On a few down notes, the property posts that it is 5 Diamond, but the rating system must be different in Mexico. The check in period is quite painful where you go to a couple of different places before you get to your room and get your luggage. It pitches your own private elevator, but that is a little misrepresented. It was odd when you were going up and the door opened with other people on it right in your living room. 2 days for over several hours the elevator to our room was not working. The grounds are huge and depending on where you want to go, walking can be tough. They offer golf cart rides, but during busy times, there is a bit of a wait. It is not easy or convenient to leave the property. They have a small grocery store onsite, just enough to keep you there, but for the most part making you go out to the restaurants. We did not find the restaurants very kid friendly from a menu perspective. Room service might be the best option with the kids. We did make some breakfasts and one dinner at our place, but the cookware and kitchen utensils were lacking to do much. You would think for a place I am sure costs more than $MM dollars, you would have more than a cookware set that you could buy at Wal-Mart for $30. The concierge asked us what time we would like coffee in the morning and we told them 6:45am. The first two days they forgot and we had to go down and ask again. On a different day, I thought someone was breaking in at 5am and it was the guy delivering coffee one hour and 45 minutes early. The pool on the deck is generally useless. It was too cold for the kids to use. Last but not least, we are sure the last day we were there, the maids stole $70 out of my daughter's purse. You get a note that says they are not responsible for valuables and there is a safe, which my wife and I used. I had seen some reviews about this and I thought my kids were smart enough to keep it with them or lock it in the safe, but not this time. I am now upset we tipped them when we checked out. On a last note, don't do the sales pitch, it is painful and not worth it, total time share pitch.

Wow! What a luxurious week we enjoyed in this 4-bedroom unit! We all enjoyed the great weather , sunrises & sunsets from the rooftop balcony/pool deck, spectacular SERVICE at every desk and around every corner. The Vidanta staff is genuine and service-oriented!!This was a relaxing vacation spot and we enjoyed 2 big, 18-holes golf courses WITH a caddie, and the option for a challenging, short-club, 10-hole Par 3, that can even be enjoyed in the evening.There are a large variety of group activities offered every day, at various areas of the resort, a relaxing, long “Lazy River “ float, and beach access!Also a great variety of restaurants - with a favorite stop at Qintos (Steakhouse) and at Sweet Taste of Paris for crepes! The atmosphere is relaxing & enjoyable with “happy hours” and libations offered poolside or in relaxing lounge areas.It is a premium vacation to fill a week or two, with family and/or friends!I look forward to coming back and seeing the Cirque Du Soleil shows they are adding. The property, amenities and staff were all outstanding. Bev - the owner was amazing to deal with as well. She arranged all our golf tee times with her favorite caddies, massages and provided great restaurant recommendations. The golf pro shop, staff is right in the owners building so it was so convenient to roll out of bed and jump on your golf carts. Afternoons were spent at the roof top pool and the staff as awesome. We went down with 4 couples for the XMAS -New Year Holiday week and everyone on our trip was so pleased with everything, we are already to book it for next year!! I have been all over Mexico and hands down this was the best trip we have taken. Everything you need is right on property with so many choices for food and places to hang out. We will book it again!!!

We had such a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful property. We were traveling with 3 young children, and 4 adults. This 4 bedroom unit in the "residence tower" was beyond any of our expectations -- beautiful views, incredibly spacious, comfortable beds, impeccably clean, and very well equipped. There was more than enough room for our group! We also loved being in the residence tower, with a private elevator directly to our unit, a private roof top pool, and great housekeeping and concierge services. The Grande Luxxe is a wonderful resort for a family vacation - countless pools, beach, great restaurants, kids club, spa, golf, etc. -- there was so much to do! And the owner, Bev, was great. She communicated with us regularly before our trip, sending us information, advice, and responding to all of our questions. Highly recommend this property!

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Luxxe in April 2017. This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely be back. It was very easy to work with this renter and she made certain that our stay was perfect. Grand Luxxe is the best of both worlds - a nice, sophisticated vacation for adults including golf, beautiful pools, a great exercise center, and lots of great dining options (on campus and off campus) but still a terrific place to go with small children including an awesome Kids Club (day care), the Lazy River and wave pool, and tons of swimming and activity options. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great trip!

My family and friends were blown away by the beautiful accommodations and service at the Grand Luxxe Nuevo Vallarta. Prior to our arrival I had received very detailed information regarding the resort and its amenities. The restaurant recommendations were very helpful and all the food was wonderful. The pools were beautiful and plentiful. We all had a wonderfully relaxing week in paradise. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us!

This was our first trip to Vidanta in Puerto Vallarta and we couldn't have been more impressed. First off, Bev Conklin was fantastic to work with; she provided thorough information and replied to every question extremely promptly...an absolute pleasure! The Grande Luxxe residences are breathtaking...we were blown away the minute the elevator opened directly into our unit with the interior and exterior space. Wonderful unit to share with a large group. The resort grounds and options are also fantastic...many pools, restaurants, and activities to please everyone on the group. We hope to return soon! We just spent a week at the Residence Club of the Grand Luxe in Puerto Vallarta. The four bedroom apartment each with master bath are exceptional, beautiful and comfortable. Views from the spacious balcony overlook the ocean and the beautiful landscaping of the property. Golf, Tennis, Pools, wonderful restaurants, spa and entertainment. The wonderful service just tops everything else.

Grand Luxxe was truly a luxury experience! We traveled in February with 10 family members including 4 kids. The condo was spacious, modern, clean and luxurious! All the staff was friendly and helpful - the concierges, the cleaning staff, pool servers, wait staff at the restaurant and shuttle drivers. The resort is expansive and there was so much to do - 7 days was just not enough! We spent most days by one of the dozens of pools at the resort - preferring the grand luxxe pools as they had nicer lounge chairs and were less crowded. We did spend some time at the wave pools and the lazy river which were fun for both the adults and kids. We went to the beach a couple times but the waves were really big when we were there so it wasn't ideal to go far in the water with our kids. The beach chairs are also quite far from the water so we preferred pool to beach. I can't say enough about the food! All our meals (except for one which was a dinner buffet) were outstanding! We purchased the breakfast/dinner meal coupons (for the adults - kids we paid for out of pocket) which ended up being a great deal for us. We would eat a substantial breakfast at one of two buffets which were both fantastic, have a light snack pool-side for lunch like guac and chips and then have a 3 course dinner. The french and california restaurants were are favorites as was the tapenyaki experience! The complimentary massages and rounds of golf were such a nice extra perk for staying here! Lastly, I must say how great Bev, the owner is. She was responsive and incredibly helpful while planning our trip. Our family is looking forward to returning next year!

First off, I would like to say that Bev was very helpful throughout our entire reservation! She was kind, courteous, understanding and friendly! Before our date of arrival she stayed on top of managing our resort activities reservation! Thank you Bev!! The resort itself is very beautiful! There are so many things to do there from dining, to golfing and even some beach activities! The room she rented us was at the most exclusive tower in this entire resort, and keep in mind there are about 7 different hotels. The staff immediately recognized our wrist bands everywhere we went. The view from the room is incredible! You overlook the ocean and part of the resort as well! There are two maids that come clean the room everyday and staff in the lobby that are there to assist you 24/7. I would highly recommend this listing!

Grand luxxe residence club is a beautiful residence for whole family. Vidanta resort provides entertainment and ralaxation for all including seniors, adults and children. With a variety of pools, restaurants and pool bars, we all had great time. We are likely to return. We also liked special benefits of residence club.
