Nestled in Marathon, this lovely house for $1,011 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The Dream House on Grassy Key (formerly The Gulf House) on the Gulf offers everything you could want ... to have the perfect family vacation! Fabulous Views of the Gulf of Mexico, 40' pool with built in spa waterside of the house and a lovely beach area tucked along the shoreline to west of the pool, great dockage for boating or fishing and lovely tropical grounds! A gracious beachside style home, beautifully furnished with casual elegance, and equipped with all the amenities for a great family vacation. 5 Bedrooms and 3 baths offer room for all, and the expansive living area can comfortably accommodate everyone from the sectional couch for TV entertainment, sitting area and dining table for 12. A window wall of glass across the length of the living area brings the outdoors in with beautiful vistas of the Gulf of Mexico which can be viewed from every area of the living areas and kitchen. The kitchen is just steps from all the fun so the cook and helpers are never away from the activities or conversations. A protected porch off the kitchen is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a quiet moment before the day's start or to catch up at evenings end. The master bedroom is waterside with a bank of sliding glass doors for water views and a step out porch that adjoins the living area. The private bath has a double sink vanity, dressing area and separate shower bathing area. Two other guest bedrooms are at this end of the home, one with a queen bed and the other with custom bunk beds providing 4 twins for a great kids room. A hall bath serves these bedrooms as well as the living area. Located on the other side of the home is another master bedroom with garden views, a king size bed and private bath and the 5th. bedroom, a cozy retreat with a queen size bed. Beautiful grounds surround the home, and a freeform shoreline creates a charming tidal area and a side yard garden with a pathway walk and tropical hammock landscaping that transitions at the shore to a lovely beach area with Adirondack chairs to relax shoreside and wiggle your toes in the sand! The perfect get-a-way atmosphere in your back yard! The shoreline has a rock revetment but there are steps curving into the water for access to wade into the water. The dock extends out into the Gulf for great dockage in the summer and fishing year-round. Dolphin pilings line two sides of the dock for additional lines to tie off your boat. A small boat ramp is located next to the pier dock for convenient launching of kayaks or jet skis. Please note the lifts are not available for guest use. The pool in the back yard boasts fabulous views from the pool and deck, a built-in spa, beach entry area and built-in seating and stools! Poolside is a covered patio with gas grill and bar area with an under counter refrigerator for food prep or a light bite and undercover seating. This home is even bettter than the photos. The living area is perfect for families and friends! We enjoyed the pool and the downstairs kitchen was a great place to hang out together! Everything was in perfect working order. The property is quiet and feels very secluded with the trees providing privacy all around the home. We loved the Dream House!

Overall good.....could be great if there was a main floor bathroom not needing to be accessed through a bedroom...needs a second water heater for the stated max occupancy...needs a bathroom near the grill at ground floor....debris from previous hurricanes at the bottom of the water near the dock needs to be cleared....boat lifts repaired. Great living room space!
Instructions only dealt with recyclables not main trash pick up day. Dock only boat friendly depending on the direction of the wind....had to prematurely return boat rental to keep from damaging boat with 15 mph winds.

The house has literally everything you need…even an ice maker!!! The sunsets from the family room and dock were magnificent. The number of sitting areas throughout the property was awesome.

We loved everything about this property… the location, the view, and the space both inside and out! We spent days and evenings by the pool and on the dock fishing. Every day we spotted wildlife…nurse sharks, stingray, dolphins, a variety of fish and many, many iguanas!! We appreciated the very well equipped kitchen for several meals at home! I would highly recommend this property for a large family or multiple families traveling together!

Dream House is wonderful. The grounds were immaculate, the house was clean and spacious enough for our larger group, and the views and sea life watching were stellar. We also enjoyed taking they kayaks out nearly every day and fishing off the dock.
There was an issue with the pool heat in the first couple days of our stay, but it was fixed promptly after we reported it.
Overall, I would recommend this house and we will certainly consider it for future stays.

Our family stayed in This beautiful oceanfront home the second week of January 2023 and everyone had a great time. The house was perfect for our group of 11. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, watching the wildlife around the pool, and watching the activity under the Dock. The house was equipped with everything we needed and Kitty was super fast in taking care of us when we had a minor issue.
The location was centrally located in the Keys and we enjoyed visiting Key West for a day as well as renting a boat in Islamorada for a snorkel trip at lighthouse and hanging out at the sand bar.
We highly recommend this home!

The house is absolutely beautiful! I love the family room/dining area with beautiful windows with a spectacular view. The giant table is perfect for large family dinners.
Only drawback was that the pool didn’t really heat up until the last day. The spa was supposed to be heated the entire time and never got above 90. The weather was very cold the first few days we were there and that would’ve been nice to have so that was a little disappointing.

We spent a week on grassy key and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The amenities were exactly what we needed, and there was great fishing and Sea Life viewing right off the pier. Had a few small hiccups with a freezer going out, but the site management handled it well. Would absolutely book again.

We had our adult kids and they were able to share the extra 2 small guest baths between the extra guest rooms if there had been 4 non family couples in this house this could be awkward. The master bedroom and bathroom we amazing very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The electrical switches were very confusing due to the location of switches in proximity of what it controlled. There were plenty of comfortable sitting areas inside and outside. The kayaks were well used and appreciated. The location was great we had not problem getting to Publix, Walgreens, restaurants and area attractions. We all highly recommend this home for family vacation.

Amazing ocean side retreat
The Dream house was just that, a dream! I spent the first few days pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming!
We had 3 children, 2 teens, and 5 adults in our party. This home was perfect in every way.
From the comfortable accommodations inside, to the fantastic pool and scenery outside. It does not get any better.

The stay my wife and I and our friends had was fun. We were able to rent a boat and tie it up to the dock. The fishing was also really good on the dock with the underwater light. The kitchen and dining area are nice. The property is spacious.
The house does not have enough glasses for 12 people. There were 10 of us and we were short every night. The pool equipment is not the easiest to use. It takes a while for the hot tub to warm up. The jets on the hot tub are really weak. The shower door in the master bathroom does not close. The dryer had an issue mid trip and it took a few times for a repair man to figure it out. The dishwasher was junk and was replaced at the end of our trip. They also need to have a broom for guests. The soap dispensers in the bathroom should be functional with liquid soap.
We would recommend this house just would prefer if a few things were fixed.

Beautiful setting.
Great house for a group. Lots of seating. Table easily seats 12. Fixed thanksgiving for 10, plenty of kitchen equipment. Had lots of space. Everyone had a great time fishing , kayaking, swimming and sunbathing!

Beautiful Paradise
Love this home!! Can't wait to go back! It looks just the photos. Great location! Few minutes away from bridge to Atlantic side on boat. About 20 min drive to town. Plenty of space and privacy. Only issue was getting our boat trailers inside, driveway entrance is narrow and turns. It worked out. Also, be mindful of the tide, the dock is very tall and may be hard to get in and out of boat. It all worked out though. One of our favorite things was the IGUANAS!! We loved them!!! We would lounge in the pool and they would just be sunbathing on the rocks. Please let them stay!! Saw stingrays, nurse shark, parrot fish from the dock. Loved all of the nature and everything the keys had to offer.

We stayed here with 2 other families, 6 adults and all kids under 3. It was a beautiful home with plenty of space for the kids to play. Large pool and hot tub for the kids to swim, a pier to walk out over the ocean and see a ton of sea creatures and catch fish from, and a nice bar area with a table to grill poolside and enjoy meals outside. Very clean upon arriving and well stocked kitchen. The only downfalls were that the kitchen could’ve used a spatula and the numbers for the burners on the stove top were faded making it hard to set it at the desired flame level. The dishwasher silverware basket had holes in it so the silverware often slipped through. From the floor plan, it looks like there is a large closet in the master bath, and that was where we were hoping to put our pack n play for our baby. However, when we got there, that closet was locked so just a heads up when looking at the floor plan. The washing machine made a very loud banging noise each time it ran. It was also a little inconvenient to have to drive 10 minutes south of the house to pick up the key and house info packet, and then same thing to drop it off when leaving at the end of our week (going the opposite way of the airport). A lockbox would’ve been a lot easier for us. Not sure if this was related to covid, though. Just a few things that could use a little work in our opinion. Overall, the house was perfect for our 3 families. Beautiful, clean, well stocked, and lots of room for fun. Kitty was also great to work with. Answered all of my questions over the phone and very polite. Would definitely stay here again,

This house is incredible! Superclean and has everything in kitchen you need. Don’t forget to bring toiletries. The dock was very accommodating for our 27’ boat. Lifts are not available for guests use so watch for windy days before renting. Couldnt beat the heated pool and hot tub!! Spent many hours there :-) The views are fantastic and neighborhood very quiet. Would love to come stay again! Beware of “noseeums” ! Bring lots if bug spray. Thank you Kitty!!
