Beautiful log and slab furniture, throughout, with exposed-beam walls and ceiling; hardwood floors; stone hearth. Two queen beds with ensuite baths, plus washer and dryer, upstairs – in rooms with charming dormer windows and cheery skylights. SITE Alpine – Hocking Hills is tucked into the woods near three other Chalets, on Blosser Road, convenient to Route 33 and the city of Logan. The closest state park is Lake Logan, 1.5 miles, a 5-minute drive. Old Man’s Cave is, 10 miles, a 15-minute drive. The Chalets front desk is 7 miles, away. For your convenience, online check-in is available, so you can go directly to the Alpine – Hocking Hills, without stopping at the Chalets’ front desk, first. SIMILAR If you like Alpine, you may also like the Settler – Hocking Hills. Aspen is nearby and similar. It sleeps six.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was quiet, clean, and very easy to find using the provided directions. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free.A few helpful things for future guests to note: firewood is not included in the price, and there are no hiking trails directly on the property (the path out back actually just leads to a neighboring cabin). However, Hocking Hills State Park is filled with trails and is a short drive away, and coming back to a fully working hot tub was fantastic. The pet-friendly feature is a bonus. Just check your dog for ticks!The layout is also worth mentioning—there is no bathroom on the first floor, but having an en-suite bathroom for each of the two upstairs bedrooms more than made up for it. Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful place to stay!

Beautiful cabin in the woods with a great location nearby to Hocking Hills State Park sites and dining options in Logan. Highly recommended.

What a great place to stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet area and the process was flawless. I would have liked the hot tub to be a little hotter (I like it very hot). I will definitely be going back to stay.

In the hocking hills area there is very limited cell phone reception. The process to check in requires you to have cell access and they email and text you when the cabin is ready along with the cabin code. There was an issue with the previous guests not knowing the dates they reserved the cabin for and made for a very awkward situation that could have been entirely avoided if the chalets verified the dates you had the cabin reserved upon check in. Very nice cabin but just make sure you verify the exact dates you reserve.
