Located in San Pasqual Valley, this attractive house for $1,013 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to the Highland Valley Ranch House! We would be thrilled to host you. Our privately gated estate rests on 5 beautiful acres in the San Pasqual Valley Wine Country. Come share an experience of warmth, family and unforgettable ambiance & enjoy our many neighboring award winning boutique wineries. Great location set among the San Diegito River Park Trail & the Highland Valley Wine Trail; surrounded by the San Pasqual Valley Preserve. More than 65 miles of trails of every level & are open year-round for day use free of charge. The home comes complete with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two living room spaces and a kitchen/dining area. The home overlooks the beautiful pool and the grand backyard where you are more than welcome to host your wedding, birthday party, or family gatherings. Your guests can enjoy the pool, spa, cabana, luxury lounge chairs, tennis court, vineyard, horse shoe arena, outdoor bathroom and much more! Heating for the pool is added at $250 per day and/or spa heating at $100 per day. If you have any questions regarding your prospective stay please reach out to the property manager. My husband and I just hosted our 30 person family wedding at Highland Valley Ranch and we cannot say enough about this property. It was exactly what we imagined and more! From Jackie, the homeowners, thoughtfulness and responsiveness, to the huge gorgeous pool to the orange orchards, tennis courts and lawn games. This property has something for everyone! We had ages 5 to 75 and every single person had fun the entire weekend. Plus you could not want for anything in the home - extremely well stocked with amenities. The photos hardly do this ranch justice. Truly we could not have asked for a more special wedding weekend. Thank you Jackie. We hope to be back for anniversaries and reunions!

This is a beautiful home and property. The listing is accurate and the manager Jackie is the best host I've ever worked with. The home is clean, comfortable, well stocked and very accommodating. There was an abundance of high quality bath towels, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you'll need. The one issue during our stay was that the water pressure in the guest bath was so poor everyone shared one bathroom (master) to shower.
The backyard is a true oasis. We enjoyed the pool, the yard games and tennis courts. Plenty of seating and shade are provided. We hosted a birthday party of ~50 people in April and it was very successful. Many guests asked for the listing information because it was such a great find. Thank you Jackie!

My husband and I wanted to do a nice wedding ceremony with just family and were able to book this property for the weekend. Jackie was so sweet and accommodating, and the property is absolutely gorgeous! The back yard was perfect for our ceremony and a happy hour. The home was so clean and comfortable. We would stay again for another family event. It was a perfect weekend a beautiful property.

Great property with plenty of outdoor activities and awesome scenic views. Ample space for large groups and plenty of parking.
Jackie and Alexis were super helpful the whole time and everyone in my party enjoyed the stay. I'd definitely stay again in the future.

This home was so perfect for my blended family. The house was perfectly clean and comfortable and the backyard was the best part. We enjoyed just relaxing by the pool and walking along the fruit trees. I wish we had scheduled more time there. We definitely want to go back!

Best Rental EVER!!!!!!
This is the best VRBO we have stayed in! Jackie and her daughter were super attentive and helpful with getting us settled in and answering our questions throughout our stay. The property is not only gorgeous, but huge! There is so much to do! We will definitely be back!

A Wonderful Thanksgiving
We had such a great time over Thanksgiving week. Jackie and her daughter Alexis were great hosts and made everything so easy. I texted several times to see if I was turning the spa on correctly and they were very quick to respond. This place is like staying at a resort but with out any other guests. We will definitely be back here again.

A Small Piece of Paradise
What a gem! This property felt like we were on our own private resort. Everything we forgot, Jackie had it available! We were greeted with a cute basket with smores ingredients and a bottle of wine. There are plenty of clean linens, pool towels, and a full kitchen with spices. The fruit trees on the property allowed us to have nice healthy snacks throughout the day. Some of the lamps had built in usb inputs to easily charge our devices. The big wow feature is the land. The pool was very clean and we loved the setup of the outdoor bathrooms. The tennis court/ basketball court had all of the equipment ready for fun. I am obsessed with this property and will definitely be back!

Best Property EVER!!!
Our stay was PERFECT. Jackie is hands down the best host that my group and I have ever dealt with at a rental property. She was accommodating, gave suggestions, helped with any deliveries we had and was always in communication. TOP NOTCH SERVICE.
The abundance of towels and cleaning supplies was so appreciated for our large group of people, along with all the tools and necessary items (utensils, glasses, cutting boards, etc.) to cook for a large group in the kitchen as well. We also loved all of the toys that we could use outside on the courts or in the backyards — basketballs, rackets, bags set, frisbees, etc. The list goes on!!!
This property is amazing — the pictures don't do it justice. We used every inch of it — from the basketball/tennis courts, the large lawn for games, the pool and the little picnic tables. It is incredible. The extra bathrooms outside are such a nice touch for people hanging by the pool and need to run in.

AMAZING STAY WITH EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS
What an INCREDIBLE place for an escape! This house felt like a resort that our family had all to ourselves - we enjoyed relaxing poolside, picking fruit/making fresh squeezed juice and playing on the tennis court, bocce court & horseshoe court! The Olsons thought of EVERYTHING! As if that was not enough, the hosts were incredibly accomodating with check-in/check-out and did everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible (food delivery, many food supplies taken care of, immediate responses to questions, etc. We have already requested to come back next month! Thank you for everything!

Family Getaway
WOW what an amazing weekend we had. Wish we could have stayed longer. Jackie was a top notch host, communication from day one was prompt and thorough. This property is built to entertain people of all ages, from the pool to the play areas (grass, and basketball/tennis court). We spent most of our time outside enjoying the amenities and views. The kitchen was supplied with anything you may need to cook/bake. The grills on the patio both supplied with gas or wood. So much to do here, we did not leave the home the entire time we were there. This home was the perfect getaway...already looking to book for next year! Thank you Jackie

Our family needed to get a away for a few days and enjoy the fresh air. This house/location was absolutely beautiful. Baksetball/tennis court was fun, the vineyard was my personal favorite
My mom loved walking around the orange tree gove and eating fresh oranges. Horseshoe was also a big hit. The pool was the best. It was a huge hit for everyone especially my kids who wanted to move in and were very sad when we left. The house was beautiful and very clean. Plenty of room for family to spread out. 5 adults and 4 kids ages 5,7,8 and 10. There was something for everyone to do. Playing of games on sight. The whole family enjoyed staying here and Jackie was friendly and helpful, responds quickly. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Best Weekend EVER
We originally booked this property back in January 2020 for a June wedding. Not for a wedding, but for the rehearsal dinner. We had many family members coming in from out of town and this property fit our needs. Needless to say, no one saw COVID19 coming and how it would change the wedding plans. With social distancing in place for so long, the wedding venue postponed the event, however, the wedding still took place on the original date 6/13/2020. The wedding was held at the Olson's beautiful property with 15 family members. With little planning, everything turned magical. The most beautiful setting for a wedding.
About the property...I can not say enough good things about Jackie and her daughter, Alexis. Jackie had always been so responsive to all of our questions leading up to our stay. The house was so comfortable for all of us and the backyard and view is spectacular. I could sit on that porch forever. Jackie, thank you so much for making this wedding weekend so perfect. We made a pact that we would come back for an annual family event to celebrate the wedding anniversary!!

Amazing Vacation Spot
If you’re looking for a place to get away and never have to leave, this is the spot! My family and I needed a change of scenery during quarantine and this was the perfect place. Between the pool, tennis courts, corn hole, and Kenya blocks, there was something for everyone. My kids range from 4 to 16 and they were all petitioning to live here haha. I can’t say enough good things. Jackie thought of everything within the home too. There was a huge jar of coffees and teas in the kitchen, tons of toiletries in the bathrooms, towels throughout the hone, and games and coloring for the little ones. We will definitely be staying here again!

Pool and Jacuzzi is ice cold and costs additional $$$ per day to use. Other than that, the property is lovely and well maintained. Plenty of space to spread out for a large group.
