Situated in Claytor Lake, this charming house for $275 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Conveniently located on a private lot just 2.5 miles from I-81, restaurants, sho pping and plenty of outdoor activities. Enjoy fishing & swimming from the new boat dock with large sun deck and additional covered area for shade. Grill your fresh catch while relaxing on the back porch overlooking the water. Enjoy taking the kayak out on the calm water. Launch your boat or rent one from Rock House Marina only 5 minutes away. The waterfront home is 2 stories with beautiful lake views. Located upstairs is a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, a large dining room, 2 bedrooms (1Q, 1D) and 2 baths. Also upstairs is a sunroom facing the lake with ample seating and a flat screen smart TV. The sunroom windows provide beautiful views of the lake & dock. Downstairs is a large room with a queen bed and a full bed. There is also a sofa, flat screen smart TV with DVD & foos ball. This room opens up to the back porch sitting area with beautiful views of the lake.

Another amazing lake getaway
This is our 4th year at Lake Daze and we will be back. The house is perfectly located on a finger of Claytor Lake. They have everything we need inside the house--sheets, towels, crockpot. We stock up at the local Walmart for groceries and never leave except for a rare excursion to Roanoke. We float, fish, swim, dive and kayak all week. Thank you for your hospitality!

Always Amazing!
This was our third year staying at this property and it was amazing as always. To be honest, I never left the house the whole week! We enjoyed relaxing on the dock, fishing, swimming, diving, kayaking, and just relaxing in general. It's so nice to have everything we need at the house--a full kitchen (including a crockpot!), clean restrooms, and bedrooms. We will be back!

Radford Graduation
Beautiful spot to celebrate our youngest child's college graduation. Wonderful outdoor layout with plenty of room to enjoy the weather and surroundings.

The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could need, so we were able to cook all of our meals rather than going out although there are several restaurants relatively close by. Grocery store selection may be a little limited depending on what you are used to at home, so we were happy to have brought some items with us. My kids caught a ton of fish off of the dock and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. We rented a boat as suggested, which was also a great experience. All in all, a wonderful trip! We would definitely stay here again.

Great property!
We enjoyed our stay on Lake Claytor! The property was fully-stocked with everything we needed! We cooked all our meals, had plenty of room to gather together around the table, grilled steaks, played board games, enjoyed sitting on the dock, and having access to everything we wanted on TV! Everyone loved the newly renovated shower! It was so nice to have such a beautiful house to gather! Thank you, hosts!!

This marina is just minutes away. I would not recommend this for elderly or anyone who has trouble walking as the climb to the dock is quite steep. Witch is the only drawback. The dock is beautiful and the wildlife is everywhere. We were privileged to see a number of different species of birds blue herring halks, squirrels and a friendly groundhog. Great dock! We spent all day out there. Very cute house. Only down side is one room has a queen and the other has a full. It was a little tight for my husband and I so we pushed the twins together downstairs and used those. Property provided a lot, grill is propane, worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

This vacation was everything we had hoped for and more. Beautiful updated home provided us with everything we needed for quality family time together. The dock is beautiful and the boat lift was perfect for our boat. We can not wait to return. Thank you for a much needed getaway.

The Best Getaway
We love this place. It is the best location to get away and unplug from your everyday life. We had a great time even though it rained quite a bit. It has everything you need to not have to leave the entire time you are here. I recommend to anyone who wants get away, relax and leave all your worries behind.

Another Amazing Lake Stay
This turned out to be our only vacation of the year and it was amazing. Lounging on the dock, in the water or on the porch. The whole week was very relaxing. The house is wonderful. Clean, with all the amenities you could need. Beautiful views of the lake and easy access. Can't wait to get back. Wonderful hosts, clear communications.

Great value for family vacation! Something for everyone!
My husband and I brought our 2 kids. My daughter (17) loved the sunning on the dock, my son (9) loved the water (swimming) and Foosball table, my husband fished (caught pan fish, cat fish and bass) and I enjoyed the various spots to relax!

Amazing Property
We used this property for a long weekend for the 6 of us and it is amazing. So relaxing sitting by the dock watching the water, and the house had everything you could think of. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to do some relaxing (and fishing). The owners had everything spic and span and were very cordial and accommodating. This is one of the best rentals I have every stayed out (worldwide).

Simple yet sensational!
Shelly was awesome to work with! Our family has gone to Claytor Lake locations before, but this was the best yet! Had everything we needed to use the kitchen, perfect dock outside to relax and fish on, and much needed privacy and rest.
Would love to come back again next year if not sooner. Our only struggles were navigating the smart tv and a friendly raccoon that came too close for our comfort each evening.

Amazing property
We spent most of our time on the dock. It has electricity and some nice lighting. We kept a cooler down there with drinksfor when we were fishing, swimming or hanging by the fire pit.The house was very clean and as described.

AMAZING LAKE RETREAT
I have not been this excited to stay at a property in a long, long time. We are already planning our next trip back! House is two-levels and perfect to share with another family. Lake views & access abound. We spent three days in our bathing suits!
Inside--everything you could need for modern living, fully stocked kitchen & bathrooms, comfy beds, linens provided, smart TV, WiFi, large dining table, Foosball table, washer/dryer.
Outside--incredible! The long walk down the hill to the dock is totally worth it! The dock featured bench seating, a picnic table, adirondack chairs and additional comfy chairs. Fire pit along the way too. We spent our days jumping off the diving board into the lake or fishing from the dock. Purchased an inflatable kayak which was easy to get in & out of as well as navigate on the lake. The lake is at times busy, however, most all boaters are respectful of wakes & other boats.
Hosts--we felt so welcome! There was a welcome gift of intertubes for floating, all the kitchen & bath needs and games for the kids. We made sure to sign the guest book as well.
We WILL be back!

This property is in a perfect location, close to Walmart. but far enough away to get away from it all. The water is calm and peaceful in the morning, just to go sit on the dock it is just wonderful!
