Situated in Wolcott, this attractive farm stay for $519 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The Red Barn warmly invites you to a quality, self catering experience and an opportunity for social distancing in 5 acres of woodland. Our home is your home for your holiday, enjoy a quiet, relaxing time any season from the deck or the hot tub. Spend valuable time with your family and friends with our facilities offering bathrooms on each of the three floors. The Red Barn is just 14 miles from the Stowe Mountain area, where the activities are vast from skiing, snowboarding, sleigh rides, winter walking and ice skating in the winter, to a world class water wonderland at Smugglers Notch in the summer. Lake Elmore and The National State Park is just a 1 mile walk away from the Red Barn for swimming, kayaking and hiking up Elmore mountain, overlooking the lake. We have a few bicycles at The Red Barn and more rentals in Morrisville such as bicycles, kayaks skis in the area for you to use, and ample space at the barn for storage of these articles. Our home boasts five spacious bedrooms on 3 floors with a bathroom on each floor, the house sleeps 11 people. The loft houses one queen bed and two twin beds with a bathroom. The ground floor a queen bedroom, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen with an eating area & two bar stools, a large table and 8 chairs, whilst the lounge area provides welcoming comfort on two large sofas, a love nest and the log burning stove, and a 70" Smart Sony TV/DVD and Soundbar. (which connects via bluetooth to a number of different devices such as iPhone/IPad etc. The basement is an ideal den for the young adults in your party, with a queen bedroom, bedroom two (with a single and queen beds) and a lounge area with large sofas as a Cinema type facility, and a separate queen size sofa/sleeper, large chair, board games. ping pong table, TV/DVD/computer play station and games. The laundry facilities are also in the basement control room and include new washing machine and separate tumble dryer, Dyson vacuum and a central vacuum system. For the shoppers in your party, Burlington is a vibrant city with a large range of shops. Stowe Village provides a quaint shopping experience and the capital city of Vermont, Montpelier is only 30 minutes away. Our family had a wonderful week long stay at this home in late August. The home was comfortable and clean, with plenty of spaces for everyone to sleep and hang out. Our two kids LOVED the barn with the chance to play ping pong and basketball; what a unique and fun feature! The large yard was awesome for playing too, and the hot tub was a treat! The house itself is beautiful and of high quality (gorgeous wood throughout, nice furniture, etc.). The beds were very comfortable - some of the comfiest we've ever had at a rental home. Both the owner and property manager were extremely responsive anytime we had a question, which we greatly appreciated. All in all, we highly recommend this rental if you're looking for a unique and memorable Vermont vacation!

Property was great and fit all of our needs for a ski getaway. The only issue we ran into, it’s listed as a 5 bedroom but there are really 4 bedrooms. We ran into issues splitting our group up due to this issue. Great place overall!

The check in and check out process were both extremely easy. Everything we needed to know was in the email and there was not an excessive amount of instructions to follow.
The property was clean, had comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed.
In a perfect world the property would have been closer to Stowe mountain - it was about a 30 minute drive for us.
Overall a great property to stay at. Would recommend and stay again.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us! The basketball and ping pong were especially big hits with our kids (ages 10-14) and the layout of the space gave each family plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was great for cooking for our crowd of 8 and we enjoyed the remote quietness of the location while still being an easy drive into Stowe and Morristown. Only negative was the occasional mouse which we spotted in both the kitchen and lower level, but we expect he/she may have snuck in during our comings and goings from the attached barn. That said, you’re in the country amongst wildlife so it would be nearly impossible to be mouse free in such a location I’d imagine! Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and had a memorable getaway!

Myself and 4 buddies spent long weekend hiking in the area. We found this home a great place to come back to. Condition of home was excellent. Amenities were just right. Sleeping arrangements were also very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook this location again.

The house, barn and yard is perfect for a family / friends getaway! The location is pretty secluded, and the house has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.

2 days into our stay we found ourselves isolating due to covid. House and rooms were exactly as pictured. Kitchen was well equipped as well. Kids had a blast in the barn playing basketball and also enjoyed the large yard as well as the hot tub. Location is quiet but not too far from shops and restaurants. Owner was very prompt with responding.

We stayed at this property with 3 other couples to celebrate a Birthday. It was the perfect set up for 4 couples! We made great use of the barn, sledding hill, hot tub and surrounding area for snowshoeing. The owner had fantastic communication, answering all of the questions I sent to him prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this home for a quiet country get away!

We book annual MLK ski trips all over VT to reunite with friends, and we fell in love with this spot. It was worth the 7-12 hour drives everyone endured.
The house is clean and so homey. There was every TV channel you could need (Netflix Hulu etc) and everything an equipped kitchen could offer (many pots & pans, spice rack, utensils and endless cutlery-plates, etc.).
The beds were comfortable and warm. It could accommodate 11-people if needed. The pull out queen in the basement was very large and comfortable too. We had no problems with linens and towels and more than enough were provided.
The hot tub is such a bonus to this property! Especially after a long day at Stowe Mountain!
Location wise you have Montpellier less than 30-minutes and down 1 road. About 10-minutes away is a local trail to snowshoe. Local grocery stores and beer stores available less than 10-minutes away.
Crystal managed the property incredibly well too. She was responsive to my questions prior to the trip. We loved it and hope to be back next MLK!

Plenty of super dry wood for the fire and an easy kitchen to navigate complete with pots, pans, serving dishes and extra spices. Bedrooms were comfy and 3 full bathrooms were a luxury. This is the Gold Standard for VRBO's. We commuted to/from Stowe for skiing. It was Xmas week so traffic off the mtn added to the 30-40 min. commute but worth the trip. Kids enjoyed ping pong and the Barn which is an architectural and engineering marvel!

Great Rainy Weekend
We had a lovely visit to this property. It ended up being a very rainy weekend, so the spacious inside gathering spaces were wonderful, especially the barn. The house had everything we needed. It was comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again.
We had some trouble with the hot tub, but the owner and property manager were in good communication with us about it after our stay.
