The property was quiet and clean. It was really picturesque with a view of the mountains from the pool. The garden in the property was attractive. It felt safe for our young child. The outside area was particularly good with a fantastic pool for keeping cool. There is plenty of seating areas and sunbeds (7), including shade areas. The aircon rooms was essential. The hosts were friendly and attentive. They offered to drive us to the nearby shop and were very quick at answering messages etc. They visited the property daily to keep the pool clean. The hosts were very kind leaving out some toys for our 2 year old (a pool float, a seesaw, hopping animal toy and of course the fantastic climbing frame with a slide & swings). The location was good - 10 minutes walk from beach and small beach shop (not food shop) and 35 minutes walk from nearby strip and restaurants. Bigger food shop is 40 minutes walk away. Bus stop nearby for those who don’t have a car.
The property could have benefited from some
Aircon in the living room as it was on occasion far too hot. Some of the kitchen equipment could do with some updating (although good). The property could have also benefited from a microwave too for children.

The villa is ideally situated and the views were amazing. The villa was very clean and hosts were very responsive.
The bed downstairs was very uncomfortable and noisy. Every time you moved it would wake us up. It was a very disturbed night sleep.

The villa is nice overall. The little play park was great for the toddler that was with us (the older kids enjoyed the swings as well).
Everything was clean, and the owners were lovely.
While we were there, Rhodes had the biggest storm that most of the locals can remember. The owners popped in to clear it all away in short order, and even came over in the middle of the storm with candles when the whole area had a power outage.
I cannot fault the hosts or the villa.
We booked it for an Easter break (first week), but nothing was open anywhere. Kolimbia was a ghost town for most of the week, with the beach out of action. Drove to Lindos and found that it was also deserted, but still very pretty. Faliraki was likewise completely closed. We eventually drove the length of the island to Rhodes old town. That was all open as there were cruise ships docked.
The point I'd make here is that if nothing was going to be open anywhere until the following week, why hire out a holiday villa at all? Or at least inform us first so we can make an informed choice.
If we had not hired a car, this would have been a complete (instead of a partial) write off.
