A clean, modern place w/ 9' ceilings, solar energy and radiant floors--part of a beautifully renovated, 128 year old house. Easy to walk, hop a bus, or grab a Car-to-Go to get anywhere in Portland. Straight shot to downtown, bus stop half a block in either direction. Enjoy a short walk to Hawthorne's unique shops, or walk a few hundred meters to the Belmont Dairy Block where you find a new, soon to arrive grocery store, and a handful of popular, new restaurants. Food carts are sprinkled throughout this fun neighborhood! Division and the newly popular SE 28th St. restaurants are close by. Please note: this space is a bedroom and bathroom with it's own outdoor entrance off the stone patio.

We were in town for a quick trip. The property was perfect - very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is near stores and restaurants that we walked to in the evenings. If I go back to Portland I would absolutely plan on staying here again.

Loved the Belmont neighborhood for both the convenience of the location, the vibe in the area and the nearby shops. The studio was a clean and comfortable place to call "home base" for this visit to Portland and will definitely look for it on my next visit.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Portland. The location in the Belmont district is close to amazing restaurants & shops, all within walking distance. Public transportation is very close. The apartment was very nice-plenty of room, comfortable beds, great walk-in shower, many amenities, & quiet. Deb was very nice & responded quickly to our questions. Definitely recommend!

Owners were great with communication and helpful! The beds were comfortable and the space was clean. Didn’t get much time to check out the neighborhood but it seemed nice. Owners had everything there for the stay to make it convenient. We appreciated the air as well which made it comfortable for us. It had a unique vibe too! I was worried about the steps going up for my mother but they were wide and there was a railing so they were not bad at all.

Deb is friendly and helpful. Her apartment is well-decorated and furnished. The garden patio is a delightful place for coffee in the morning. Bus 15 stops a block away, then an easy connection to bus 63 takes you to the Japanese Garden and Rose Garden.

Loved staying in Deb and Chuck’s basement apt. Belmont a perfect walkable neighborhood. Sweet backyard to hangout in. Deb was responsive, easy to communicate with and offered lots of great local foodie suggestions.

The studio was great and had everything we needed, including a full size fridge. Comfortable beds and hot shower. Deb was super responsive and helpful. When we got into town late, she even offering to bring us food! She provided restaurant recommendations and we ended up eating some fabulous sushi. The neighborhood was very walkable with plenty to do. We found BIKETOWN bikes nearby and biked all over the city. 5 stars, we hope to be back soon.

It was the perfect place to stay while attending a conference at the Portland Convention Center. The room was charming with lovely accents, and a fantastic restaurant was across the street. We took walks in the springtime neighborhood and had only a ten minute drive every morning. Perfect for us!

My son and I stayed here two nights while touring some schools and enjoying Portland's delicious restaurants. It's a simple basement spot, low on light, but high on charm. Our hosts were responsive and the area is within walking distance to some excellent food. A fantastic place for the price!

I visited Portland during their historic snow event for the first time with my cousin and this property was the perfect base of operations for a multi-snowy-day-stay. It has everything that we needed, the host was very responsive, and heated floors were awesome! Across the street was a good Thai restaurant, down the block was an excellent breakfast nook (Cricket Cafe), and just a little further was a Korean grocery store and multiple food venues. I hope one day that I can visit Portland when I can take advantage of the bike share and explore even more. Would stay here again if so.

The apartment was lovely. Comfy beds, complete kitchenette, great bathroom, and heated floors! Also had a nice little patio area. The host, Deb, was amazing, super responsive, very welcoming. It was a very cozy, clean and spacious space. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was the perfect home-away-from-home. Highly recommend!

This was a great property perfect for what we needed. Great neighborhood with a Fred Meyers grocery nearby to stock up. Very clean and I specifically enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning and to relax after a day of exploring. The flowers smelled so wonderful! Thank you!

Not surprisingly, the weather was quite damp during our visit but this unit was dry and cozy to come home to. Plenty of food options for breakfast and dinner plus an HMart a block away. Right on bus route to take you into the city. We walked through nice neighborhoods with interesting gardens. We will stay here again on our next visit.
