Upstairs is the kitchen, main living room, and the primary king bedroom with doors to the beautiful view outside. The second bedroom you will also find a king bed and doors to the balcony. The third bedroom will have a queen size bed. Come cook your catch of the day in our well equipped kitchen! This spacious home is right next to the boardwalk and has unobstructed beach views. It seemed the sand dunes were raised because we could not see as much of the people and carts on the beach like previous years. The house is in good shape and the outdoor furniture had new cushions. Within Gulf Waters I was pulled over by a security guard in a golf cart because he did not see the pass on my dash. Had one issue w beeping smoke alarms and the PAE maintenance crew came and fixed it quickly. We took in Mardi Gras parades in Aransas Pass, North Padre Island and Port A. It was a good stay.

We visited for Spring Break and absolutely loved the property! The beds are comfortable and the floor plan is perfect with a large bedroom, bathroom and living area downstairs for the kids and bedrooms upstairs for adults. We stayed with another family for a week and our time flew by bc we had such a blast. The community is great and beach is super close! We rented a golf cart which was perfect for beach access and exploring the coast! Thank you for a hidden gem and fabulous vacation full of amazing memories!!!

Property was just like it looks in the pics. Nothing deceiving. Clean, open spaces, fantastic location right on the beach. Had everything we needed and then some. Even had plenty of sand toys and a gas and charcoal grill. Only slight downside is having to navigate your way through the RV park to get there. It could get confusing at times and had to dodge kids and people walking to the beach, but I did enjoy looking at all the nice RV spots. Book it, you won't regret it.

Nice two story house near the beach. However, the property could use some tender loving care since there were several maintenance items that needed to be taken care of. The list includes door handles missing, a bathroom pocket door that was stuck open, loose toilet seats, shower rods bent etc. For the price you pay, this rental should be in pristine shape.

We loved the location of the vacation home. It was a quick walk to and from the ocean/beach via the boardwalk.The 2 story house worked perfectly for our family that visited over Thanksgiving. They had the 1st floor to themselves. The view from the 2nd floor was unbelievable.Our family is ready to come back next year.

We stayed at Sea-Esta with another family over the 4th of July. The location was great with a great view of the gulf from the balcony. The set up of the house was great and allowed us to put the kids downstairs in their own spot. There were several community rules we weren't aware of, so please ask at check-in to avoid any issues. There is some maintenance that could be done on the house but overall it was great. I would stay here again.

A true beach front view! Large patio to sit out and drink a cup of coffee. The location is steps away from the crossing to the beach. Crossing is large enough for a golf cart but with this location you do not need to rent one. Yes they have WIFI that works well. My family of 5 was very comfortable and still had an entire downstairs that could fit another family. The RV resort offers their pool and activity center. It’s a beautiful pool and the people that stay in RVs are respectful and quiet. This is a perfect spot for a family looking for private access to beach. House was very clean and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms nicely remodeled. This is our second time staying and we will definitely be back.

This was a family gathering of 21 adults, so we rented 2 houses. The Hacienda was a disappointment. The website listed 3 kings, 1 queen and 2 twins. The house had 2 kings, 1 queen, a full and bunk beds that had a mattress that was pretty much done with a deep hole down the middle on the bottom and the top mattress was very uncomfortable. The bedding caused a real problem for us since the younger adults stayed in this house (ages 19-37)and several were guys over 6' tall. We made it work and the location next to the other house where we all gathered for meals, etc. made it okay. The location of this property is perfect and when I reported the bedding problems when we checked out, Bill at Port A Escapes was very nice and promptly changed the listing. The house was nice and would be perfect as long as you knew going in what the bedding situation was. The kids happily made it work -- after all -- it's the beach and they were only in the house to sleep.

Wanted a place big enough for the whole family and this was perfect. I was surprised after pulling in - don't let the rv's throw you. This is a well kept quiet area with a very nice pool area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. I hope to come back next year.

We utilized this house to attend my sons graduation for Texas A&M Corpus. It is a very nice house and has a great location. We had 2 small issues with a tv and the oven and found out when we checked out that we should have called and they would have taken care of it. These issues did not affect our stay. I would consider it a great location and a very nice house very close to the beach with a great view! I am glad the owners allow it to be utilized and our entire family enjoyed the stay!

Over all great stay
My husband and I take our adult kids and grandkids to the beach each year. We are a group of nine. Compared to other properties we stayed at, this house felt a little cramped, but the fact that it is literally on the beach made up for it.

The house is very much like the pictures. The deck is the highlight of the house. The boardwalk to the beach is literally out the back door. The house is nice but as with most rentals, it needs a good cleaning. There is no closet in the master bedroom. There were lots of beach toys for the little ones.
We were there during the cold snap and were very disappointed with Port A Escape. We received texts that there was no water or power which was obvious, but when we tried to contact them they did not respond to phone calls, texts or emails. We were without water and heat for 3 days. The house temperature was 41 degrees. We finally went to the office in town and pounded on the door until someone answered. We ask where we could get water to flush our toilets and they told us there was nothing they could do. The bridges were closed and we didn’t think there was anyway off of the island. We found out we could use the ferry to escape Port A. We did have insurance and got a percentage of our remaining stay refunded. They put the house up for rental again BEFORE power and water was restored.

We spend January in Port A. After having rented several homes with outstanding gulf or channel views, this house has the most comfortable chairs and sofas including the outside deck furniture. It was quite nice to sit outside reading for hours with glass barriers providing protection from cool winds. The only maintenance issue was a storm which dropped 2 inches of rain, the internet and cable went out, the repair guys showed up and reset the breakers in a place where we didn’t have access. .
