Located in Somers, this attractive house for $1,250 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Our sailing and ocean background has heavily influenced the design and construction of our 3061 square foot home. It has a very coastal and nautical feel with painted open beam ceilings, painted tongue and groove wood plank walls, and Brazilian cherry wood floors. Almost every room has a gorgeous view of the lake and the home is decorated with our mementos from around the world. The kitchen has custom knotty pine cabinets plus granite countertops and a lovely viewing area that is perfect for your first cup of coffee. The master suite and elegant travertine tiled bathroom are on the main floor next to a smaller bedroom and bath perfect for children. The living room has a hand-crafted tile gas fireplace. Upstairs are two more bedrooms and a striking bathroom with a large soaking tub and tiled shower. There is a very spacious family room where you can play games or watch a movie. The fifth bed room is on the third floor, aptly named, “The Crow's Nest”, where the view is spectacular. The deck has two levels, one for barbequing and outside dining, the other for lounging and soaking in the hot tub. We have a nice dock for your boat and two stable kayaks to tour the lake. Our home was designed and built by us, Robin and Patti Graham, home builders and author of the books “Dove” and “Home is the Sailor”. We are now offering our home as a weekly rental while we do some more traveling and enjoy our grandkids

This is the second time we have stayed at Robin's & Patti's home. The experience is magical with our entire family (7 adults) enjoying a peaceful and comfortable week in their beautiful home. Kayaking, fishing, hiking, boating, relaxing & cooking were all on the menu. The Graham's are gracious hosts and we look forward to continuing to use their home for future family gatherings.

We can't say enough great things about this home. The home is very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked and in such an amazing location. Robin and Patti are great hosts and available if needed. I would recommend this vacation rental and hope to return a 3rd time! Thank you Robin and Patti!

We're had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The home was just perfect in every way,from the rooms to the dock (which includes all sorts of kayaks and water toys), the patios, kitchen and BBQ, just wonderful.
They really thought of everything, wood for the fire pit by the lake, plenty of fuel for the BBQ, toys, games, books and DVD, each with something for all ages... and the views, just amazing.
We got a lot of use from the dock with the kayaks included and a rental boat from nearby. Robin and Patti were just wonderful in every way and we are glad we got to meet them as they are so fun and interesting (not a lot of people I know have books and movies about their adventures like the Graham's).
It was a perfect week.

My family and I have been vacationing on Flathead lake for many years. This was the first time we’ve stayed on this side of the lake and we hope it will not be our last! The house was perfect for what we needed. All of the unique touches in the home, combined with the amazing view made for a perfect little gateway. We hope to return in the future to this sailors gem!

What a great property. Everything you could want for a relaxing entertaining stay. The kayak's are a great plus . The younger children really enjoyed the smaller ones. Great beach area to watch the children play and they can warm up in the hot tub.

Special week!
The Grahams are great hosts. Their house is beautifully decorated and always in exceptional condition.
Everything needed for a great vacation, both inside and out, is provided.
We have stayed at the Graham's home many times over the last several years. Every week has been speial for our entire family and has given us all many great memories. Our grandchildren especially love kayaking in front of the house as well as taking longer trips further out on the lake, as we all do. It's also the perfect spot to boat from, and many other activities are close if you choose to spend some time away from the lake.

Early summer lakeside vacation
My family (me, my husband and 3 children) spent a week in Robin’s beautiful lakeside home. The home is high end, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The water temp was a bit chilly. We kayaked, rented a boat and fished on Flathead lake. We cooked and grilled everyday which was easy as the kitchen was set up for it. We enjoyed July 4 fireworks from the deck which was fun. We are are close to both Kaleipell and Glacier National Park. We all greatly enjoyed our stay at Robin’s special home.

We were a quick last minute booking at Flathead Lake as we normally go to Lake Coeur d'Alene for the warmer water. Our family had a fabulous time staying at Robin and Patti's Sailor House and the water was perfect. Their home is absolutely beautiful and we all felt like we were so welcome and invited to share their little piece of lake heaven. Everything about their home has a cozy feel to it from the inside to the outside living. The few steps to the lake and dock made hoping on our boat so accessible. The wrap around deck expanded the living space and we spent many mornings and evenings enjoying the gorgeous views from the hot tub. The Bonus room was a huge hit with the grandkids and all of the toys and movies made for some awesome hours of peace and quiet in the evenings while the adults enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck! We had a 2 yr old, a 2 month and 3 month old staying with us. We LOVED having a washer and dryer so convenient on the main floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about every item you may need and large enough to have several hands helping to prepare meals. The bedrooms are comfy and decorated in a soothing nautical theme. The boat bed was enjoyed by our 14 year old granddaughter where she would go sail away when the "littles" were just too annoying. They have every water toy, kayak, innertube, floaties, life jackets, lawn chairs, shovels, buckets, etc that you could ever need hidden behind the blue door under the house. It was a great discovery! The fire pit near the water is stocked with all the essentials for roasting marshmallows and sitting by an evening fire. I could go on and on but basically Patti and Robin have covered all the small details that we love when renting a vacation home. (The "Dove" soap made us smile) They made us feel like we were relatives that had come to visit and completely opened their home and loved to host our family. Thanks Patti and Robin!! It was a magical treat and they are just a special couple! We would definitely enjoy coming back to the Sailor House!

Our family loved staying at the Sailor House. We have rented for over 10 yrs on Flathead lake and this by far was our favorite rental property.

A perfect week!
This is the fifth time our family (including children and grandchildren) has stayed at the Graham’s house on Flathead. It’s been a while since our last visit. It was great to be backand we have booked a week for next summer.
The house was in perfect shape and beautiful, as it always is. We bring our boat and have a great time tubing, wake boarding, skiing and cruising around the lake. Their dock and the location of their house are ideal for those activities. There is nice public launch a couple minutes from their house.
However, you don’t need a boat to enjoy the lake and area around Somers. The view from their deck is gorgeous. The deck, yard, swimming area and water toys provide hours of fun for everyone. They have added a couple smaller kayaks for the kids since we were there last. Our grandkids learned to paddle and used them a lot. I took one of the larger kayaks with our 8 and 10 year old granddaughters and paddled across to the yacht club. The entire week was full of many similar fun activities. The fire with s’mores was a special treat.
We continue to highly recommend Graham’s home. We have stayed at many rental properties. We have never had a better experience anywhere else. Robin and Patti are amazing hosts, keep their home in perfect condition and provide everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful vacation.

Sailors Home Delivered!
Robin and Patti's home was perfect for our family of 8 people. The accommodations were superb, especially the lake views from nearly all the rooms. Coffee in the kitchen as daylight broke over the calm waters was a wonderful start to the day. the property is a 15 minute drive to Kalispell, Bigfork, 30 min to Whitefish, and 45 min to GNP.I have stayed at about a dozen VRBO properties over the past few years, and I put this one right near the top. Robin and Patti are excellent owners and property managers.

Amazing vacation home
The pictures online do not do this property justice. The home is immaculate. Beautiful architecture, decorations. Spacious living room on the middle floor. Great views. Tons of seating. Stocked kitchen. Very kid friendly. Tons of kids toys and a great beach off the dock for smaller children. We booked for next year while we were still staying there!

Amazing house on Flathead Lake
We just got back from a weeks vacation at Robin and Patti’s house on Flathead Lake and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We had 7 people (2 families) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house has an incredible lake view from almost every room and is so nicely appointed with everything you need and more. We loved paddling in the kayaks and sitting in the dock watching the boats. We also loved learning more about the incredible experiences Robin and Patti had in their lives but I won’t ruin the surprise for anyone who stays there!
We hope to return to Flathead Lake and Robin and Patti’s house again soon.

An amazingly beautiful property with breathtaking views!!!
This house was not only beautiful, but it had everything we needed for a full week. There were extra blankets for when we got chilly, beach towels and all of the kitchen appliances we needed. This was by far our best visit to Montana!!!

Beautiful home with great amenities! Decorating is perfect. Road noise was more than expected and there is no easy way to go for a walk outdoors ( because of the busy highway). We got over that and had a great time. Wonderful getaway.

Beautiful Flathead Lake get away
This property is beautiful. The owners Robin and Patti are great to work with. Check in/out was easy and the home was well stocked with all of the extras you normally end up having to run out and buy. The linens, pots & pans are all high quality. There is a lot to do at the house and in the surrounding area. My entire family enjoyed our stay. The house, Flathead Lake and being close to Glacier were all fantastic. Sailors home
We have stayed here now on three different occasions spanning 8 years. The home was as well kept and looked the same this year as it did in 2011 on our first stay. Nothing is left to chance from the fully appointed kitchen to all the toys and games for kids and everything is thought of with the guests in mind. Well done Robin and Patty.

Although a week early for the ideal weather we still spent plenty of time out on the dock and in the hot tub.

A fantastic holiday!
We had the most magical week in this beautiful house. The views of the lake are breathtaking to wake up to every morning. Patti and Robin have thought of everything. We normally go out a lot when we are on holiday but everything we needed was in the house and adults and children alike both wanted to stay at home and barbecue, sunbathe and mess about on the water. I honestly think it was the best family holiday we have ever had! Can’t recommend this gorgeous enough!

The location of the home, access to the beach, the mountains, the surrounding communities made this property easy for our family to enjoy all that NW Montana has to offer. The Home:
It is obvious the love and passion Robin and Patti put into designing this home. We enjoyed discovering the intricate details of the home from the roof to the decor. I have never commented on a roof in any review, nor have I every really paid attention to one, but this is seriously a must see! Everything about this home is quality! Robin and Patti did an incredible job of maximizing the views of Flathead Lake. If you have ever spent time on Flathead, you know that some days are good and some are bad. We had a few days that we stayed inside and enjoyed the lake views in the comfort of this beautiful home.
Location:
What a perfect location! This home is 6 miles to the nearest large grocery store, 1.8 miles to a gas station and only 2 blocks from a public boat launch. This was perfect as we had 2 wave runners that we launched in the mornings and pulled out at night. We were close to many restaurants, however we only went once because we didn't want to leave the property. By the way, I would also recommend the Stillwater Fish House in Whitefish if you need a good place to eat.
Hospitality:
Robin and Patti were great! They were available if we needed anything and stopped by to share a few details for our stay. I am pretty particular about the house being cool enough in the summer and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The home was incredibly stocked from spices in the kitchen to games, puzzels and water toys. No need to bring roasting sticks, firewood, life jackets or lawn chairs.
Activities:
There is so much to do in this part of Montana that you can't do it all. You are within 2 hours of Glacier National Park and the Ross Creek Giant Cedars. You can venture to Whitefish for zip lining and the alpine slide. We didn't do any of these because we never wanted to leave the property!
Tips:
Bring bug spray if mosquitos tend to like you. They come out around 8pm.

Amazing Family Vacation
Our family (six adults, three children ages 2, 4, and 7) enjoyed every moment of our stay here. Flathead Lake and the surrounding area are beautiful, and the house exceeded our expectations. It was so clean, well-stocked, and contained so many interesting details and decorations. It was the perfect size for our group. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen contained everything (and more!) that we needed. The views out the windows as we enjoyed coffee and breakfast were wonderful, and a glass of wine at night looking out at the sailboats on the water made our time really relaxing. The kids loved the under-the-stairway toy closet, the Lincoln Logs, and of course, the lake! We couldn't believe all of the toys and water things that were provided. The kayaks were really fun, and we all spent time in the hot tub. You can truly tell that that Robin and Patti have put so much love and care into this home, and we were grateful to get to spend a week here. We enjoyed going to Glacier Park, hiking the Jewel Basin, downtown Kalispell (loved the Ceres Bakery!), the Columbia Falls Rodeo, tasting the local huckleberries, and a visit to Whitefish. We easily could have stayed another week and hope to return in the future. Montana has jumped to the top of our list of favorite places, and staying in this special home definitely made our family trip memorable.

Our family recently stayed at this property for one week from August 14th to August 21st 2011. From my initial contact with Patti right up to receiving our damage deposit, the Grahams' were absolutely wonderful to deal with. They answered all of my many, many questions. The property is more gorgeous and stunning than the photos. Everything in the home is very updated and in perfect working order. We were a total of 11 people, including 5 children from 2 to 7 years of age and the water the dock and the abundance of toys both inside and outside made for an ideal time for the youngsters. We hosted two dinners for our relatives from the area and the house and yard were definitely able to hold our group of 20. The sunsets were amamzing. Would recommend renting this property again.
