This area is not winterized properly and it is not possible to sleep in it in the winter. There are 4 bathrooms in all. 2 on the ground floor, one with shower, the other with a small tub. The Master bathroom has a steam shower and 6 foot bathtub. One more on the second floor with bathtub and shower. There is also an outdoor shower, wonderful in the summertime. The tower is five stories high, with a stunning room at the top to look out in all directions from an amazing vantage point. There is a loft-room with a 65' TV and full cable service. The house is equipped with wireless internet. There is central heat and AC, and there are ceiling fans in most rooms. The House lies on 3 acres of land in East Marion, New York with 300 feet of beach on the Long Island Sound. It has a 50' x 16' swimming pool, ideal for swimming laps and lounging in the sun. Tour the former whaling town of Greenport, with all its cultural charm, reminiscent of the Hampton's in the 50' s and 60' s. Here you'll find excellent restaurants and cafes. The history and architecture of the building was very unique and interesting. The inside of the house had a strong unpleasant smell of Lysol. Rugs and floors were dirty and our napkins stuck to the top of the sticky dining table. There was also poison ivy to watch out for around the stairs to the beach. We enjoyed the location and exploring Greenport and the area. But wish the inside of the house had been cleaner without the unpleasant Lysol smell.

Great experience- the owners use the property which is much nicer as things kept up to date and kitchen stocked with pots and pans etc. I loved cooking in the kitchen. The space was nice as well super interesting. We were there during the remnant of a hurricane so with the lightening and the wind howling it was a little creepy at night. Great for telling ghost stories. Great property good communication with the care taker!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house on the LI sound, just steps from its own private beach. The view is spectacular and the pictures of the unique, yet charming property don’t do it justice. The caretaker of the property was easily accessible and answered any questions and concerns almost immediately. The house was immaculately clean and perfect for a large group. The consensus of our group was we can’t wait to go back!

A wonderful rental experience. The house is absolutely stunning, we are Greenport regulars and this was the first time we just wanted to stay in and enjoy the property! We were a group of young families and the house was perfect. Great space and it has everything you could need. This house is very unique and felt like a piece of art. Communication with the property manager was very easy, we hope to return very soon. Thank you!
