We built this beautiful modern cabin in 2004 with all the character and furnishings you'd expect in an idyllic Rocky Mountain home. Incredible mountain views surround you, yet you can walk to the coffee shop, restaurants, and the recreation path takes you to Breckenridge, Copper or around Lake Dillon. The major ski areas are just minutes away (Copper: 8 miles, Breckenridge: 10 miles, Keystone: 12 miles, Vail: 25 miles, Beaver Creek: 35 Miles, Winter Park: 60 miles, Steamboat: 90 Miles). Our home is about 2000sf with off-street parking for 4+ cars. The main level has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with two full size beds). The upper level has the master suite (queen bed) in addition to the large loft area (convertible futon) which is open to the living room below. A washer and dryer as well as a boot/gear drying room make extended stays convenient, and there is an ON-SITE CARETAKER (they have a separate entrance to their apartment) should an emergency arise. Summit County has a free shuttle system which can take you almost anywhere with your bikes and skis. The shuttle stop is four blocks away and can get you to the base of Copper Mountain in as little as 10 minutes or Breckenridge in 15. If you need to rent skis or bikes there are numerous shops in town that will be happy to accommodate you. Most of your shopping needs can be taken care of right in Frisco as well; from family run shops, galleries and restaurants to Whole Foods, Starbucks, fast food, Safeway and Walmart. We are dog friendly for the well behaved family pooch. The pet fee is $30/night/dog (max 2). Also please, no dogs on furniture, pick up after them outside (and in) and we require dogs to be crated if left unattended inside the house.
