We chose this property over others that were 1/2 the price to try to ensure we were not surprised as can happen with VRBO often. The strategy did not work. The unit was like staying in a Paleolithic cave. The natural light was virtually non existent as there was a small opening on the south side of a very deep unit. The unit was on the same level as the 2nd level underground garage literally adjacent to a parking space in that underground garage. Beyond this, the furniture , though clean and of decent quality, was very tired for this price point. Lastly , though not a deal breaker but combined with these other issues , the entrance to the property was a little complicated with multiple gates/doors that often did not work. So much so that we left our sliding door unlocked so we made sure we did not get locked out. Good luck if you rent this unit. the 125 5-star reviews so not synchronize with our experience of “extraordinary “ properties

First, the property is perfectly located being an easy walk to lifts, but far enough away to be quiet.
Second, the condo itself is very well maintained and thought out. It had the best stocked kitchen cabinets of any place I have rented.
Lastly, the hot tub is both secluded and has a great view of the mountain.
Five stars all around.

My spouse and I just wrapped our third stay at this lovely property. The condo is so cozy yet roomy for our needs. Amenties like the fireplaces, hot tub, and steam shower keep us comimg back, and the location cannot be beat. I would highly, highly recommend.

This is our second time staying at this property and love it just as much as we did the first time. Immaculately clean, well stocked, and great amenities. Our kiddos love the private hot tub and fireplace for nightly s'mores. The location in between the Village and Ford Park is perfect and of course we love being steps away from the creek. Can't wait to stay here again!

Astrid’s property exceeded our expectations, pictures don’t do it justice. The amenities were on point, property was very clean, wolf range was very nice. Location is perfect, easy access to Gondola one. My family and I would definitely rent this property again.

Convenient location, lots of nice amenities!
The condo is decorated beautifully. We loved the chef’s kitchen. It was well stocked and even had basic cooking essentials like olive oil and spices. Another perk is the jetted tub, which was much needed after a day on the mountain. We also enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the patio, great place to hang out and take in the scenery while staying warm. The only negative was the bed and pillows (very very firm and hard to get comfortable) and it was a queen (we prefer a king), but that may be a matter of personal preference.

This property was perfect for a long weekend ski trip. Short walk to gondola one where we started our adventures each day. The property was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was one of the best equipped rental properties I’ve stayed at.

Second time back — just as awesome
This was our second time staying at this condo and this experience was just as great as the first. The place is so cozy and comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. Communication with Astrid was excellent. We had a slight problem with the outdoor fireplace but she walked us through resolution. I’d highly, highly recommend this place.

Perfect Spot!
This condo is even better than described! Wonderful layout, nicely decorated, has everything you need, beautiful view in a peaceful area, and listening to Gore creek was wonderful. We parked our car in the nice garage on Friday and didn't not get back in it until Monday when we left - you can walk everywhere in Vail and Lionshead and it's close to trails too. Just a fantastic place and we hope to stay there again!!! Also, thanks to Astrid for her help before we left and the property manager was wonderful - gave us lots of restaurant and hiking tips!

This Condo is very well located along Gore Creek with beautiful views of the Vail Slopeside. The condo is well appointed, luxurious, and its location is the best part. To sit out on the patio each morning with the beautiful Aspen trees in front of you, views of the mountain, and the sound of Gore Creek running below you made it worth the trip.
We traveled with children ages 3 & 7. The murphy bed was perfect for them. In addition, the hot tub on the patio and then the pool at the condo building worked out well given the warmer temperatures during our visit.
Overall, this is an awesome condo. We would return and I would recommend to others looking to visit Vail!

Two thumbs up from Vail summer vets
Astrid’s place is the best yet for our summer Vail visits: quiet, immaculately clean, a 5 minute walk to anything between Vail Village and Ford Park, super spacious/luxurious for a 1 BR (incl. a second full bath) both inside and out plus great sleeping to the gurgles of Gore Creek. Astrid herself was incredibly responsive both before and during our stay. Merci beaucoup … we’ll be back!

The friendly building manager tweeked the two fireplaces for us so they started without a hitch simply by flipping a switch and were lovely to have for the surprisingly chilly weather we had. The hot tub was quite hot and wonderful and very private from the walking path down below. AC and bed were both fine. The laundry room was nice. Location on the path to Vail is stellar. The real test of care is how many Kleenex boxes the owner has provided--and I counted at least four or five, so that's the real test of owner care for guests. Clearly this is a five star accommodation we thoroughly enjoyed!

Amazing Stay!
We had an amazing time! Astrid couldn't have been more helpful and the communication was very timely. She gave us great restaurant recommendations! The property was immaculate and the location was so close to everything in the village that we were able to walk anywhere we needed to go. When we walked in it looked like we were the first people to stay there. The underground heated parking was a huge perk as well. We will definitely be back! Thanks Astrid!
