The living room is furnished with everything. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with everything. The house is old but extremely well kept up. It was clean and stocked with essentials. Nice outdoor space we would have used more if the weather was better and we hung out there more. The owner was always available to answer questions. The heat worked well but was noisy. Most of the year it’s probably not needed. The sheets and towels were all fresh and clean and felt like new. We were totally happy with our stay and impressed with the cleanliness indoor and outdoors

We were very impressed with this VRBO. It was in a great neighborhood. We felt very safe.
The living room has plenty of seating and both the loveseat and the couch have recliners.
The king in the master has a memory foam top that is what I would call medium-soft. My husband has shoulder issues and he said it was too hard for him, but it was perfect to me. The queen in the 2nd bedroom was very soft, so if you needed a softer bed, you could sleep there. They have plenty of extra blankets and pillows. They also have plenty of extra towels and washcloths.
The kithen has a dining area attached. It has seating for 4, but the bedrooms each have a chair you can bring in, making it 6. Also, there is a table outside that seats 4.
The kitchen is very well stocked. They have plates, bowls, glasses and silverware for at least 12. There are A LOT of storage containers for left-over food. They also have glass pyrex dishes with lids. They have bottled water in the fridge. There are lots of pots, pans and utensils to cook with.
They have every utensil you need to use the grill. My husband LOVED the grill. The backyard has seating for 11. It is a great place to hang out while he was grilling. It is surrounded by a brick wall that kept it very private.
There is a garage door opener so you can get in that way and not have to worry about keys.
We will definately stay here again if we come to visit our Airman before he leaves Holloman.

This home was central to our outings. My daughter planned the trip and we had a lot of fun. We used the front patio the most as the rear patio, while lovely, had more "noise" from the neighbors.

Clean, quiet, safe area.
Neighbors are 420 friendly, so if that bothers you, maybe not for you. But they were very friendly and kept to themselves. Quiet part of town and easy access to restaurants, Walmart, tennis courts, and White Sands National Park.

This home was great for our 2 night stay while visiting White Sands. The property was clean, easy to access and secure. They also had everything we needed for our stay including the convenience of a washer / dryer, and sleds to use at white sands! Getting to see and pet the neighbors cat was an added bonus!

( JUST REMEMBER IF YOU USE THE LAST OF SOMETHING REPLACE IT FOR THE NEXT PERSON) 6. Washer and dryer ( because we had kids that dirty their clothes quickly! 7. Sled provided for white sands sliding ( remember to bring it back) 8. Our FAVORITE part about our stay is the spacious shaded outdoor space to grill and etc. We loved the privacy of the brick walls. We loved this space because we could be with our family outside in the shade and grill and play cards. My children's favorite part was Joe!
Joe apparently is a neighbor's kitty that likes to jump the wall and come over to visit. So we bought Joe some kitty treats! Lol.

Nice little home
We had a nice stay while at this house. It’s smaller but as all the amenities you could need. It was clean and cozy. There were really only 2 things we didn’t like: the master bed was old and had 2 distinct ruts on either side where you had to lay or else you’d roll, and the window blinds didn’t go the full width of the windows so there were tons of gaps (there were a TON of windows). Overall, it was still a great experience.

Second stay…Awesome Place
This is my second stay at Michelle’s place. She is so considerate and thoughtful of her guests. The home is extremely comfortable and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Alamogordo. Definitely worth booking!

Repeat vacation home
This is always a welcome place to stay when we visit for vacation. Every detail is accounted for - fresh flowers, fully stocked kitchen, linens. The owner, Michelle, goes out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She’s a true hostess. We couldn’t be more happy staying here.

+The location is right around the corner from a Walmart Market, just down the hill from the space museum, and really close to major roadways.
Cons:
-Outdated television - the living room tv is large enough but is a not-so-smart tv. No HBO/Hulu/Etc and as far as I could tell it was incapable of getting these apps.
-The beds:
The California King bed felt like it was broken/sunken on the left side but the right side was fine
The Queen bed was a memory foam mattress that was not supportive at all.
My partner and I struggled to find a sleeping arrangement that was conducive for us here.

All of the touches of home made it possible to completely relax after a long day. We were able to grill in the back yard and enjoy a nice dinner with family on the back patio. Michelle provided plenty of towels and paper goods. I really can’t say enough good things about this place! You won’t regret booking here!

Communication was quick & easy. The home is clean & lovely. We had friends from La Luz stop in for a drink and they loved it too. We especially loved the one car garage (for my motorcycle) and being able to do some laundry after a week on the road. For us this home had no disappointments in any way.

Retreat in Alamogordo
This property is a perfect "home away from home," and the location was especially good during this current virus crisis. We were able to minimize our contacts with people--could make our own meals, drive to Desert Foothills for a daily walk, get groceries at a small Walmart, fill water bottles nearby, and take the dog to a veterinary clinic for a prescription refill. The property has front and back patio areas, an outdoor grill, kitchen utensils and utilities. laundry facilities if needed, large closet area, comfortable living room (tastefully decorated). The owners were especially friendly and helpful about seeing to it that we had what we needed. This was our second stay at this property; we knew what to expect.

Recently just stayed here for a 4 night trip in Alamogordo. Michelle was an amazing host. Very prompt to answer any questions since the very beginning. Place is well equipped with everything you need. Good location. There’s Walmart within the neighborhood which was very convenient for groceries. Would stay here again.
