Built in 1904, this historic home retains its vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, hardwood floors, and antique finishings, while offering modern qualities such as grid-tied solar panels and core bonded insulation keeping it cool in the summer and cozy in winter. It also has a great wood-burning fireplace! The owner of the Dahlia House operates a small organic permaculture farm just north of town. This provides seasonal opportunities to have fresh flowers or vegetables delivered during your stay from about June through September. The Dahlia house has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a warm living room with a beautiful stone fireplace, and is fully equipped with a modern kitchen and solar electricity! The main bedroom has a dreamy king size bed. The second bedroom, with full-size futon bed and another full-size bed, is accessed through the main bedroom, perfect for children or infants. The living room has a sofa, large windows with wonderful light, working fireplace, hardwood floors and steel bar. Open to the living room, our sunny kitchen features concrete countertops, a modern gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and stainless steel cookware. The back door leads directly onto the large wooden deck, garage, and fully fenced yard which makes for a perfect place to relax, eat meals, and hang out after a day exploring downtown or the mountains. There is a gas bbq grill and a fire pit for your use. Other amenities at the Dahlia House include a front porch, on-demand hot water heater that never runs out, washer, dryer, pantry, fast wifi, and oversized garage with electric car charger (240v level 2 Nema-14-50 outlet) for parking and gear storage. (You’re welcome to borrow our bikes, Bozeman is a wonderful town to see on two wheels.) Our houseguests love the convenience of our location, and are also surprised at how quiet the neighborhood is, especially at night. Enjoy our peaceful and private backyard. Comfortable, cozy cottage within a few blocks of Downtown. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Wood burning fireplace was great in the evening. Nice kitchen and cast iron skillets. Also used gas grill for steaks. Bed very comfortable and shower good pressure and hot.
Only suggestions would be to update and upgrade the TV and service—Roku and live Tv frustrating! And substitute a smaller table top for the big dining table and have a comfortable chair in front of the fireplace👍
We liked the washer/dryer too!!
Thanks Paul, Jim and Beth.

We'd gladly stay here again.

We loved the location and ease of being able to walk instead of drive downtown! Walking distance to farmers market, grocery, restaurants and anything downtown. Cute house and enjoyed the deck for coffee and a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay there again!!

I stayed at the Dahlia House with my family when we went to Bozeman for MSU orientation. The house was perfect in every way! The location was great for all things Bozeman. It was roomy yet cozy. The back deck was awesome for evenings with the family. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy.

Lovely property to walk to Main Street, great local bakery, deli and trails. My Bernese mountain dog recommends the large dog door and nice backyard. Great spot to access cross country skiing (or golf), Snowfill dog park, bridger bowl and crosscut Will definitely stay again next time we’re in Bozeman. Host was very responsive and provided lots of information about the area for those not familiar. Such a bonus to have a garage if you come in the winter

A few things that made this place unique and perfect for our stay...first of all, they let us park in the garage; this was a blessing considering the 4 days of snow in Bozeman. Secondly, they had a bag of towels and blankets for the dogs; usually we bring our own but somehow forgot this time, super thoughtful. Other great mentions are the coffee they left and someone would come and shovel out the walkway for us each morning. Perfect walking distance to downtown and centrally located in Bozeman.

Location, Location, Location. Easy walk to Main Street, quick access to running/walking trails north and south of town, and incredible selection of coffee shops and breweries within a mile. House is quirky...as described, 2nd bedroom is accessed through first, only one window A/C unit (it was 90+ most days, although cooler at night with effective ceiling fans), varied floors (you could roll a marble for a while around the house), great deck and yard with picnic table. All tied together with incredibly responsive caretaker who kept the house supplied with staples during our stay. If you don't mind the bedroom set-up, a wonderful place to enjoy your time in Bozeman.

Wonderful place just a short walk from restaurants, shops, bars and breweries.
2 bedroom set up is best suited to adults with kids : you can’t get to one bedroom without walking through the other. A minor thing really.
Kitchen has all you need plus a gas grill outside. Nice patio and backyard.

Had a great trip and really appreciated the downtown location and the fireplace. For us, the absence of a tv and microwave was great as well. But it might not be for everyone. Many thanks.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the house within walking distance to Bozeman's Main Street and walking/jogging trails. Beauty at every turn in this artists home.
This home is a find for people who appreciate handmade unique creations. From sturdy industrual styled iron work to a wood dresser made with hand tools, there are so many skilled creations to admire. Location is a very short walk to resturants, bakery and shopping in the historical area. Prior to arriving the owner sent us informative emails that were very helpful. All the beds and a kitchen ready to cook in solves the problem of brothers who will not share a bed and a husband with celiac.

Great little spot
Attentive owner--he noted high temps and put in a window A/C unit. Great location to Bozeman but set away from all the noice. Highly recommended.
The second bedroom does come off the main bedroom--just an FYI

Fantastic property close to main street
We loved our stay at the Dahlia House and so did our dog. The fully fenced yard was awesome, and the house met our needs. It was great being 2 blocks from main street, as well as having easy access to run up to the Bridgers for hiking. Everything was in order, property manager was responsive, and we loved hanging out on the back deck. Highly recommended!

Visit with Mom
The Dahlia house was everything I expected and more! Brought my Mom (80) up to visit my son (MSU) for the weekend, and we so enjoyed all this house had to offer! Clean, functional and artistic home with a lovely yard - we sat on the deck frequently. Ease of getting to Main St. (and Wild Crumb!) was perfect. Beds were very comfortable, and bathroom/kitchen was complete with all the amenities needed. Mom loved Bozeman, and again, I did not want to leave! We ate at the Emmerson, Wild Crumb, Main St. Overeasy, MacKenzie River - and got sandwiches to go from the Pickle Barrel.

Fabulous Bozeman MT Home
My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed at this lovely home for 5 nights. The cozy home was beautiful in its craftsman details, including its stained glass windows and hardwood floors. The chef's kitchen was a dream to work with and had all the utensils you need to make meals at home. The king sized bed in the roomy master bedroom was a treat, with other sleeping areas for groups of more than two. The on-demand water heater was always ready for hot showers and laundry. Even though it did not have AC, the home did not require it, as the nights were cool and the home stayed cool throughout the day ( 2 of them were in the high 80's and the home stayed at 72). The backyard was fully fenced, which was perfect for our two dogs; the street was quiet, and the location was perfectly positioned to walk to downtown main street for shopping and dining. The choices were endless for dining, and many of the shops and restaurant patios were dog friendly.
We enjoyed the sunny deck at the back of the home every morning and every evening and the dogs enjoyed the shaded grassy yard. Daily we drove to nearby mountain trail heads, hyalite reservoir and even made a day trip of Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park.
If you are looking to enjoy all that Bozeman MT has to offer, this home WILL NOT disappoint you. We were thrilled with our choice to stay at Dahlia House and would do it again tomorrow if we could.
From the moment we booked the home, Paul was quick to respond to our emails and kept in touch with valuable information about the home and our stay as was promised at the time of booking.
CHOOSE THIS HOME, you will not regret it.
