Built in the 1750s and given a 2-year loving restoration to preserve original architectural details and integrate modern amenities, the villa has a lush central courtyard with a 40' long pool to cool off on hot afternoons. ** Contact us for a 3-d walkthrough, video and more photos ** == Best Location in Granada == Casa Blanca is the best located home in Granada. Situated at the top end of the pedestrianised Calle La Calzada the home is right next door to Granada's famous cathedral and just steps from the bustling central park. == Accommodations == The home features five bedrooms in the following arrangement- A second floor en-suite master bedroom, with a king-size bed. Two double bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. One family suite which is a regular double bedroom that opens onto a twin bedroom. The twin bedroom in the family suite doubles up as a TV room. The fifth bedroom located beyond the kitchen on the ground floor is suitable for a live in nanny or maid and has a single bed with private bathroom (this room does not have AC). The living areas are organised around the courtyard corridors. The main corridor features an antique rocking chair and coffee table set comfortably laid out beneath a powerful ceiling fan. There is another more relaxed seating area situated the opposite end of the pool to the main dining area. The home has a classical colonial living room with doors direclty into the pedestrianised Calle La Calzada. == Fully Equipped and Beautifully Furnished == The home is thoroughly well furnished with exquisite furniture from the local manufacturer Simplamente Madera, who use only the very finest certified hard woods. Had a wonderful 3 night stay with 4 adults and 3 kids. The house is just as it looks in the photos and had everything we could have needed. The pool was beautiful and a lovely way to cool down and for the kids to have fun.
The house is right on the main thoroughfare. We kept joking that literally everything was within 5 blocks.
Great communication on setting up our check in and the PM stocked up some basics, per our request, for a minimal fee. They also helped us plan a couple excursions and transportation. Super nice folks. The PM office is just across the street so really convenient. A top notch experience and we could not have asked for more.

Casa Blanca is truly a gem. I was able to lease out the entire home for a girls trip. There was ample space and bathrooms, the house was spotless when we arrive and the property manager was very attentive to our needs. She arranged excursions, transportation, dinner reservations and even booked us a personal chef. It truly was a magical stay and I will definitely be returning.

The pictures don't do this home justice. The place is gorgeous and perfect location. We had so much fun sitting out the front door and interacting with the locals. It was great to be able to walk to everything you need - restaurants, am/pm, centro, massages, church, etc. Hosts were super accommodating and flexible. Definitely want to come back.

House keeper, Maria Inez, was very nice lady and cleaned thoroughly. Elizabeth in office very responsive to our needs. Strangers sitting in my brother in law’s truck at 1:30 am. It was necessary to move it in middle of night to safe parking several blocks away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Blanca. I have been visiting Granada for many years and this was one of my favorite places to stay with a large group of friends. We all had plenty of space and the outdoor courtyard was great for socializing. Located right on the main Calle so it can be a bit noisy at night. But it is a fair trade off if you want to be centrally located.

We were just dazzled by how gorgeous this rental property was. The inner courtyard with the beautiful pool and gardens, was just spectacular. We spent many hours in the hot part of the day swimming in the pool, mornings in the hammock or sipping Nicaraguan coffee while watching the hummingbirds in the garden, and nights swimming under the stars. The kitchen was well equipped and they had a few staples for us already - sugar, coffee, some nice cookies. We didn't cook much because it was too convenient to go out for meals, the house is located right in the restaurant district. There are several really tempting restaurants just down the street. For breakfasts we went to Cafe de Arte, which is about 30 feet from the door and has the most delicious smoothies and great Nica breakfasts. Great pancakes too! The rooms were so comfortable and the beds were like Heaven. The AC worked great. We went during a festival weekend so we did have noise at night, but nothing we couldn't sleep through. And it was super fun to walk right outside and be in the heart of the festival. The staff were excellent. So kind and accommodating. We loved having Francisco as our driver and tour guide! He was so great with the kids and went out of his way to help us navigate our first time in Nica. Check in and check out was a breeze. Great communication for the rental, great information, easy pick up at the airport and arrangement of tours. Thank you so much! We hope to send more people your way because all our friends were drooling over our pictures! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family of 8 and I had an amazing time at Casa Blanca! The housekeeper and staff were super professional and kind very attentive & did a great job in making sure we had all we needed ! Thank you Mr. Guillermo for caring and replying to us quickly when we needed help with the internet connection and your attention to details was superb! My family stayed at Casa Blanca for the month of July and it exceeded our expectations. The beds are super comfortable, and the master suite is spectacular. The kitchen is very well appointed, and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The pool is exactly as it appears in the photos, very inviting. Casa Blanca is located right off the central square on the walking street where all the action is after dark (e.g., restaurants, clubs, entertainment, gelato, etc.) and the lake front is within walking distance. We would stay here again.

This house was stunningly beautiful. Open and airy, this is a very large house overall, with a gorgeous patio and pool. The Master bedroom was delightful. The housekeeper kept everything nice and clean, and the check-in process was very straightforward. The description of the property was 100% correct.

We loved our time at this beautiful property. It is right in the heart of the town, and while it can be a little bit noisy at night, it was perfect for walking to all the sites. We had quite a few children traveling with us and they all loved the pool in the courtyard and the beautiful outdoor living space. The owners and management company were wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

The pool provided a much-needed respite from the almost oppressive heat of the afternoon (and we are from south Texas!), and we appreciated the washer and dryer facilities. We hope to return to Granada, and would be very very happy again to stay at Casa Blanca.

After looking at the pictures online, we knew that this house was going to be nice. But as many other reviewers have said, the pictures dont even almost do it justice. Upon arrival, everything was completely ready for us, and the house was bigger, cleaner, and more impeccably decorated than we could have imagined. Throughout our stay Guillermo and Elizabeth and everyone in GPS were very responsive to our requests, no matter how big or small. Any problem (dead batteries, trouble working the grill) was fixed within hours. When we requested a complicated two day trip to Costa Rica, they did everything in their power to work with a connect on the CR side, a transfer on the Nica side, and set everything up perfectly so that we were in good hands the whole trip and never stranded or confused. The AC in the rooms was a much needed escape from the sweltering heat at night, and the pool somehow remained a perfect temperature all day long. We were able to accommodate all of our friends for dinner one night, but it didnt feel to large when it was just us. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location itself was incredible - located on the main strip of restaurants and bars, right behind central park and the cathedral, everything was easily accessible. And the one worry we had, being the noise of this busy street, wasnt even a problem. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Granada, and definitely hope to make it back here in the future.

We had our family reunion at Casa Blanca and it was the perfect vacation home! . The location was walking distance to restaurants and shops. The home is clean and well maintained. Our group had a range of ages from 70s to toddler and this home was perfect! Guillermo was in contact from the start of the reservation making sure we had everything we needed! I would definitely stay here again!

I recently saw a good Italian Movie called " la Grande Bellazza". It's about a successful writer who lives a charmed life in his beloved Rome. One of the very special treats he offers his friends is a trip with a man who has 7 keys to old Palazzi in Rome not open to any visitors. Each very beautiful and special.
I got the feeling we were handed a similar key to a truly special Palazzo in Grenada. Beautiful house and a great location in a special town. We loved it and hopefully will be back! Worth the trip to Nicaragua by itself.

The colonial town of Granada is historic, vibrant and colorful. Delicious cuisine, lots of art studios, gigantic lake with private islands, puffing but non-violent volcanoes, hiking, boating and many other activities available.

The house was really gorgeous as well as functional. One of those beautiful places you can rent for a few days to spoil yourself! We had a great stay. The location, next to all the restaurants and the night life, is ideal.
