Nestled in Wells, this attractive condo for $275 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy a Wells Beach oceanfront vacation in an uncrowded section of sandy beach. A bright, sunny, 2 bedroom, ocean-level apartment that is just one step down from the driveway. The quiet owners live on the first and second floors above. This apartment is part of a beach cottage built about 100 years ago. It has undergone many upgrades and improvements over the course of the 60 years that it has been in our family. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms each with a queen-size bed, free WiFi, HD TV, an open kitchen/living area and an enclosed porch overlooking the ocean and beach. There is a full futon with a comfortable mattress on the porch. It should be noted that the ceiling on the porch is about 6 ft.in height. A great place for sitting, having a coffee or sipping a glass of wine. There is one bath that is split; the shower area is separate from the toilet and sink. Most of our tenants return year after year. We value our guests and prefer not having large gatherings for the comfort of us, our neighbors, and our tenants. During the months of July and August and the first part of September, as well as the last week in June we only rent for the week. Before and after those times we do rent by the day with a minimum of a 2 night stay. . HDTV. Reply to Judy with any inquiries. Our 23rd Year staying on Wells Beach .. 1st time @ this Lovely Oceans edge Cottage and Enjoyed every moment . Adorable , Beachy interior with all the Amenities a Family needs .. Love to cook.. fully stocked kitchen .. The enclosed porch has a Great View .. can’t get any closer to the sand @ your doorstep than this .. sound of the waves all day and night .. nothing more relaxing ! The Hosts were so Friendly , Welcoming and Accommodating .. Didn’t want to leave ⛱️

We loved our stay at Wells Beach. We had everything we needed in the apartment. It was clean, cheerful, and bright. The listing is absolutely accurate. The view of the ocean is beautiful, and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. It is a perfect location for beach vacation!

Our stay was very relaxing and Judy was so sweet. The ceiling is low so for any tall people it could be a problem but wasn't for us. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get some relaxation on the beach and is looking for privacy.

My family had a great vacation, staying right on Wells Beach. We'd walk out the door and we were on the beach, no lugging things to the beach daily. This beachfront cottage is awesome and a great value. The owner Judy was friendly and helpful and ensured we were all set. We've been coming to Wells Beach for over thirty years and this cottage was perfect for us and priced incredibly reasonably for beachfront. Thank you, Judy!

We loved our stay at The Sands. Judy was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. Being able to walk directly out of the unit to the beach was perfect for our family. We spent hours walking on the beach looking for shells and seaglass.

Although we were very happy to meet Judy and Jim and enjoyed visiting with them, very nice people. I can't give to good a review to the basement apt. It is in dire need of a makeover, some paint, decorations, and a complete cleaning is in order. Also, it should be known that the tiny bathroom is separate from Tiny shower and neither is conducive to a large or tall person or someone needing a walker. There were some chairs with broken rungs on them when we arrived. the door handles on bathroom doors were old fashioned latches that did not work well also on the bedroom doors, they were very noisy as well, which tended to interrupt sleeping when someone got up to bathroom during night. Bedrooms were small but sufficient but again the dressers needed cleaning and some fresh paint. The narrow steps down to get to street side door has no railing and felt very unsafe to this senior citizen. The beach door to outside very low and my 6' 1" hubby had to duck his head as did I who is 5' 7". The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. But, again, the cupboards need some fresh paint. The Location is GREAT! if this was given some much needed TLC it would definitely be worth the price, but as it is I and our friends felt it is very overpriced. The pics are very misleading. there are no pics of bathroom or shower . the bathroom is very narrow and small, the sink in there is approx 12"x12" one small shelf on wall to put supplies that when you stand up from toilet you have to be careful not to knock it off wall. The shower room is long and narrow with very small shower stall. one little stool in there to set things on and two tiny shelves for supplies. very dark in there with one light, also fan in there needs cleaning. So sorry to have to give this negative revue but I do believe it could be fixed up and become a great place to sit by the ocean and enjoy the best scenery that Maine has to offer.

Cute ocean level apartment with all the essentials, outside seating and right on the beach! Owners live upstairs, were very accommodating and very nice! We would definitely consider this property again for a vacation.

We had a wonderful time at this rental. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer as our children were starting their school year! Comfortable for our family of 5, and it was just a few steps from the beach - a great location. Judy was great to work with, very responsive to messages and on site during our stay if we had any questions. The apartment had everything we needed for the stay, and the location is close to the grocery store, restaurants, arcade, and mini-golf. Would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thanks Judy!

We had a girls weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Judy and Jim are wonderful. They really make you feel comfortable. The unit is comfortable and has all the amenities that you need. It is only steps to the beach! It was a wonderful weekend and hope to return again soon!
