About this house rental
Situated in Lake Erie, this charming house for $363 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome to beautiful Lake Chautauqua and experience lake living at its best! Lake house is perfect for vacations, reunions, and getaways. Comfortable furnishings, a fully-equipped kitchen with newer appliances, and on-site washer and dryer included. The full downstairs bathroom was completely remodeled in 2018. New exterior doors were also installed in November, 2019. Broadband Wi-Fi and cable TV included. House is kid-friendly and the large lot provides lots of grass for games and a lakeside fire pit. Pets are permitted for additional $100/pet upon request. Weekly rentals, especially from June through August, normally run Saturday to Saturday. Linens are provided, including towels and bedding. This lake house is located on a fantastic private lot on Chautauqua Lake and is located at the sandy-bottom end of the lake. With the 75 feet of lake frontage and usage of a private dock, the whole lake is yours to explore. Rent includes use of the dock - bring your own small boat, jet ski, or kayak - or you can rent from various marinas located around the lake. Winter renters can bring their own skis, snowmobiles or ice fishing equipment - we are located close to Peek n Peak and to the snowmobile trails. House location is central to multiple other attractions, whether it be breweries, wineries, restaurants, night life or shopping.

We stayed here after Christmas with family and it was the perfect lake front property for our group. We are hoping to get back to it during the summer so we can enjoy the lake I grew up at with my kids.

Great place for kids & pets as you have a very nice yard, dock to fish off of or just to sit & relax!
Fire pit with chairs & even a hammock!!
Plus a grill that was very clean!
Cottage is set up with everything you will need !
Lots of small towns to visit & plenty of places to eat out if you want.
Only complaint, we didn’t plan to stay longer.

Nice to revisit Chautauqua Lake in this cozy cottage. Great time catching up with friends and family in beautiful lakefront setting. Took advantage of amenities like dock, firepit, large deck, propane grill, corn hole, hammock, etc. Fun for all ages, and our dog liked it too!

This property is beautiful outside with an adorable decor and welcoming vibe inside. My family and friends remember our history with Lake Chautauqua (my childhood and children's childhoods), and coming back was everything we had hoped for. We hope to make this our anual vacation spot!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a nice, quiet, walkable neighborhood, close to the park, walking trail, deli, grocery store. There is plenty of parking. The living space was nicely cared for, with all described amenities provided. We had 10 people in our party, but there was only seating for 6 at the table, so we ate in shifts on our rainy days. We did find the lighting to be dim in the living area and downstairs bathroom. Yard is spacious, with fire pit, outdoor eating areas, fire pit. Overall, a good stay.

Brent was very accommodating. He quickly responded to every question we had. He allowed us to park a small camper on-site for the cousins to sleep in. He allowed an early check in and a late check out.
The house is perfect set up and has everything you need. We also used the boat dock, but didn’t get out much on the water because of the weather.
Would definitely stay again.

Great cottage on the water with not only views but water access. The cottage provided a great place for four 30+ girls to relax and unwind for a few days. We spent three great days and only left one day to go explore the area and local breweries. We had previously rented this rental seven years ago with our partners and would return without hesitation again

This is a really great cottage. Every time I come updates have been made! There is new carpet this time! This cottage is well appointed, has plenty of room, and is really close to the lake! Plus it’s super clean! Thanks for another great stay!

This is a great lakeside house! The yard and deck were great for gathering with family and friends. I would say only drawback is 1 full bath for a 4 bedroom home. Normally that's not a big deal, but we were there for a wedding, so more getting ready than a normal get away weekend! Great place!

This is our third stay here and it’s perfect for our family. We’ve enjoyed 30 summers at lk Chq as kids and young parents. Now it’s my turn to host my kids and partners for a week of Pontooning, games, summer food and quiet days and nights. Great cottage for sleeping accommodations and lawn space for games. Already booked some weeks for next summer.

Friends and I go to Chautauqua every year for some fishing. We have stayed at Brent's house for the last two years. Fits our needs perfectly. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers, large dock, nice deck and the house is just what we are looking for. Will be back next year.

I grew up visiting Chautauqua, lived there for a bit and got married right around the corner to this lovely cabin. What a perfect place to rejuvenate by standing in the backyard and listening to the silence of the lake.

Excellent stay, excellent place, excellent owner. We came Halloween weekend and weather was not great but we were able to enjoy the outdoors a little. The property against the lake is spacious, has a fire pit, deck and just enough covered to sit out if it’s raining. The carport is also nice to have if it’s raining to grill and unload/load up the car.
Inside is clean and brings you back to a simple cabin feel but with the modern convienences. We did meet Brent who is part owner of the Big Inlet brewery not far from the place. I recommend it for not only the beer but also for the food truck that has great bbq.
We couldn’t have one complaint from our stay and would book again anytime(hopefully when we can use the lake next time in the summer)

The lake is beautiful. Leaves just starting to turn in early October. We just need to learn how to fish at this lake! Lots of weeds in the lake so there are probably lots of fish! Cottage is nice location on the north end of the lake!
