About this condo rental
Located in Wailea, this lovely condo for $175 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Please send me a message prior to booking. I enjoy "meeting" our guests and answering questions about our condo. Aloha Guests: Our beautiful island is experiencing wildfires. As with all fires, as time goes by, some things change and some remain the same. Maui is still a magical place to visit, even though Lahaina ( a tourist area) is one of the things that has been changed. Please keep your reservations and come and visit all the other beautiful areas of paradise. Palm trees swaying, tropical breezes, island birds singing their songs, privacy....All this and the ocean is never more than a few steps away. Stroll the manicured grounds under the shade of the swaying banyan trees. Play a set on the tennis court, take a cooling dip in one of the two swimming pools or relax in one of the soothing hot tubs. The grounds are right across the street from one of Maui's best white sand beaches... ideal for casual strolls, swimming and sunbathing.Our Our condo was just renovated in Our condo was renovated in April 2019. Our goal was to modernize the unit yet maintain a beachy, coastal vibe. We think we accomplished all of that. The renovation included new flooring, new cabinets throughout, granite counter tops, all new GE appliances and, of course, fresh paint. . We also expanded our lanai, and added a king size bed. Both bathrooms are completely remodeled as well. The Maui Banyan is located in beautiful South Kihei, on the island's south shore. The resort enjoys a prime location and access to adjacent Kamaole Beach II, with it's playgrounds and open green space. The resort's beauty is offset by the towering peak of the Haleakala in the background, which provides cooling shade in the hot afternoon hours, a perfect atmosphere for golf and other activities. ***2020 Covid Update- Your safety and comfort are our primary concern. The condo will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest. Our cleaners are following the CDC guidelines as well as using cleaning procedures set forth by VRMA (Vacation Rental Management Assoc.).They will be wearing proper PPE, using EPA approved products, cleaning and disinfecting all areas including high touch areas. They will also be using an electrostatic fogger. We are doing all we can to protect our guests. However, nothing these days is guaranteed. Therefore, we will not accept any responsibility for anyone contracting the virus and our guests must agree to our "hold harmless" agreement located in the house rules. Keywords: Condominium

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean. Having the second bathroom was a bonus. There was a cooler, beach chairs and umbrella. Lovely view out the lanai. Plenty of pots and pans to cook meals. We would definitely stay here again. The location was close to grocery stores.

We had an amazing stay! Property location was so perfect for everything. Bed very comfortable. Second bathroom such a plus with 2 women. Each had our own. The property next door is so nice for view and privacy. Seen deer in the morning and evening go by most of the days. The view of mountain was so pretty. There is a view of the ocean maybe not ocean front but still nice to be able to see. Joni was so accommodating in all matters. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us. My wife and I recently stayed at this property for 5 days (Oct 2023). It turned out to be a fabulous choice and absolutely wonderful experience. The convenience of the location made getting to all of the westside and upcountry locations on our trip super easy! Joni (the Host) was very attentive to all the details and easy to reach during the stay. We found the condo well stocked with everything one could want for beach visits or just hanging out to cook a meal for the evening. Clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious are all words that come to mind. Parking is easy on premise and we were able to walk to the entire Kihei business district without using our rental.
I would recommend this place to anyone and believe it would be great for families as well. Thanks again Joni for a wonderful stay !

The apartment is spacious and well equip with everything someone needs for a great beach holiday and has been tastefully updated. Location is great being right outside Kam 2 and 3.

We had a great time at the Maui Banyan! It was close to everything and walking distance to most things. Went zip lining and explored pineapple orchard. We managed to pack in a lot in 4 days. The Maui Banyan was central to the afternoon nap since it was so close. I loved having a kitchen to make some meals, since eating out was a bit expensive for all meals. It was a very comfortable stay.

Maui Banyon is a beautiful condo property that has lovely and well maintained gardens, pool, parking lot and is just a short walk to the beach and really good restaurants. The staff that works there are very friendly.
Joni the condo owner has been very responsive from the start to the end of our beautiful stay in Maui.
The bed was comfortable and the showers had nice water flow and I loved the river rock flooring and tiles in the the shower. Plenty of towels. Beach chairs and other beach things are in the storage closet. Check around before you buy anything, Joni keeps things well stocked.
The lanai has great views of the volcano, a natural plant area and slight ocean views with beautiful palm trees.
Maui is a very nice place to visit. Kehei is a great area to stay. I felt very safe there. Lahaina is a great place to visit for shopping and great marina views. Mama’s Fish House was our best dining experience. Taking a guided trip with Alec if you can book him on Maui Jungle Tours is the best way to take the Road To Hana trip.

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for part of our honeymoon. The location was spot on, right next to the beach (literally just crossing the road) and walking distance to many food and breakfast spots in Kihei. Loved that they provide towels, umbrellas, chairs and other beach equipment so you don’t have to rent it. From the bedroom balcony you can see all the way up to the mountains on a sunny day. The place was clean and having two bathrooms was a nice extra when getting ready. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo with a really cool view of the grounds! Check-in was very easy, no issues. :) Bed was super comfy and everything worked perfectly. The beach chairs and umbrella were a great and handy bonus! Truly a 5 minute walk to the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend.

This is a great Kihei condo for your Maui vacation! The location is perfect as it is close to several beautiful beaches and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The condo is updated and equipped with several conveniences like a stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, beach chairs, etc. The owner is very responsive and kind in the event that any questions or issues should arise. Great condo in a perfect location! Quiet complex across from the best beaches. You’ll awake to singing birds and miss that when you return home. Very comfortable condo. We hardly needed the air conditioning since the ceiling fans did a wonderful job. The two bathroom came in handy compared to many other one bedroom selections.
We look forward to our next visit to this unit. It’s probably the best we’ve had yet in Maui!

The condo was as described. Nicely updated with two bathrooms and a nice sized lanai to enjoy our morning coffees and end of day cheers. Having the supplies like beach chairs and umbrella was very appreciated. Check in and out was smooth and simple. We had a couple of small hickups but nothing serious and Joni was very quick to respond and support. We would highly recommend this condo for your Maui stay. Aloha!

To start, Joni is an outstanding host. From the initial inquiry and request to our on-site stay and departure he was fabulous.
The condo is wonderful . Well located, very very clean, comfortable, very well equipped, well decorated. Parking on site was a bonus.

My daughter and I stayed at Joni's condo for 4 nights in June. It was very clean and well-kept! We loved that there were beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler for us to use. Having 2 bathrooms was great! Great location to beaches and restaurants. Would definitely stay again! (We loved the book of guests that previously stayed - great touch!)

South Kihei Getaway
This condo is in a wonderful location, just a quick 3-5 minute walk to the beach. The sunsets were stunning! We found this to be a great jumping off point for our trip to the Road to Hanna and Haleakala as well. The condo was clean, cute, and convenient, and comparable in price, if not cheaper than many hotels. Joni was lovely to work with! We would come back in a heartbeat.

Length of stay debacle
The location and cleanliness of this condo was fantastic and I absolutely wished to give this place a 5/5 rating, however, our last night was a fiasco. Originally I had planned a 4 night stay but 3.5 months before our trip I asked for, received and paid for an additional night. The day of our last night I received a call that the cleaners were at the condo and that the owner was concerned because our stuff was still there (we still had another night). I find it unprofessional to have given that much advance notice and to pay for an additional night to have the owner calling me on my vacation because she had the cleaning crew come on the wrong day and called me accusing me of overstaying at the rental. She then told me I should be fortunate because no one else was scheduled to stay that night (I was scheduled for the night), so in spite of the great location and overall appearance of the condo I am only giving this 3/5. I'm sure this was a one off experience but it is an experience I don't wish on anyone else

Central location
The location was close to the airport (20-30 min drive), close to the highway, closer to Mt haleakala than the Kaanapali area. The complex is right across from the beach that actually turned out to be the best for snorkeling. The pool in the complex looked decent and it was easy to find parking spots in the complex. The owner sent us detailed instructions prior to our arrival, and cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards were appreciated! The place was relatively clean, and spacious! The AC worked and the ceiling fans were a plus. We loved that there were 2 bathrooms so we could get ready at the same time, although the spot light above the shower didnt work and the drain was partially blocked (it drained extremely slow). The kitchen had most things. (couldn't find scissors though). The walls would benefit from a fresh coat of paint but i would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Joni’s for 10 days and had such a great time. She provided us with everything we could have wanted/needed including a cooler, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, etc. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Check in was a breeze.

Perfect place in paradise
My husband and I enjoyed our 4th time in Maui and loved Joni's condo. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the lanai was beautiful. Well stocked kitchen accessories (except a kettle, I drink tea) and great appliances. A very comfortable condo and will definitely try and stay there again!
