Situated in McHenry, this charming house for $325 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Luxury 4 bedroom home, location and convenience guaranteed to create a vacation that will be remembered for a long time! Close to lake, ski slopes, boat rental, golf, roller coaster, restaurants, and activities for adults and kids. The 2400 sq. ft. condo has four bedrooms with luxury pillow-top mattresses for an extremely comfortable sleeping experience. Two master bedrooms have separate bathrooms, the third and fourth bedroom share a bathroom with separate vanity areas. The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds and one futon. The large living room/dining room area is spacious for entertaining and the dining table is expandable to seat 10. From the deck, the view of the mountains, lake, and ski slopes can be enjoyed during all seasons. Watch the fireworks on the 4th of July and New Year’s Eve and the changing colors in Fall in the Seven Person Hot tub - you have front row seats to see these events from the deck or through the large condo windows. Or enjoy a cool fall night or snowy winter night by the Fire Pit. Walk to: Miniature Golf, Arcades, Sports Bar, Batting Cage, Ice Cream Shop, Smiles Pizza, Black Bear Tavern, Pine Lodge Steakhouse, go-carts, kids play area, and shopping. Foodland, Perkins Restaurant, Ledo Pizza, Deep Creek Pharmacy, McHenry Beverage, and the Bear Creek Traders Store are only a 1.5 mile drive. Located in the heart of the Lake the condo is close to the golf courses and the ski slopes at Wisp Resort. Within a few hundred yards from the condo are several boat rental places. The Wisp Resort across the lake (3 min driving distance) offers downhill skiing, ice skating, snow tubing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, 2 golf courses, Flying Squirrel Canopy Tour (zip-line), jeep tours, mountain roller coaster, scenic chairlift rides, and the Fork Run Rec. area, 550 ac. forest w/climbing, hiking & Mt. biking. Horseback riding stables are also within a few minutes driving distance. See the beautiful colors explode during the Fall season. Visit Oakland, just 12 miles away, during the October Autumn Glory Festival for the parade, crafts, food and a generally good time. The Annual Autumn Glory Festival is held in the beginning of October. There are many places to visit and explore, such as the Discovery Center at the Deep Creek Lake State Park with a sandy beach for swimming and nature walks. Some other area parks/resorts are Harrington Manor State Park (approx. 20 min by car) Swallow Falls State Park (approx. 15 min by car) Nemacoline Resort (approx. 40 min by car) Ohiopyle Recreation Area; Whitewater rafting, the Allegheny Passage Bike Trail, and Falling Water (about 45 min by car)

Nice property, very well stocked with dishes etc.. comfortable beds, good view of the mountain and a bit of the lake, quiet neighborhood. We were there the week after Labor Day. If you're looking for activities don't visit in the shoulder season, most places are closed or only open on weekends. The lake is beautiful, there are places you can rent a boat during the season. My advice would be to come when there are some activity places open, and also make sure to have a meal at Moonshadow, it was the highlight of our trip.

This marked the third time we have stayed at this location, and it was great. I will be back, the home is incredibly nice and spacious, plenty of seating for all, and very comfortable!

As the title says, This is our second time renting this unit. The place is super clean and well kept. There is plenty of space to spread out, tons of amenities in the kitchen, the gas fireplace, and of course the hot tub looking out over the lake. Kids were dragging us in to the hot tub 2-3 times per day, though we really didn't need much coaxing. The place is perfect for us and we were so glad to be able to rent it for a second time. Definitely will be the first place we look the next time we decide to visit Deep Creek.

This is a stellar property exactly as advertised. It was better equipped than my own home kitchen. It has everything you need. The owner is very kind, responsive and accommodating. We had a crowd from three years old to 71 years old and the area has something for everyone. We definitely recommend this property!

Our stay was ruined because of a broken air conditioner that did not work. We stayed here because of the location but cross your fingers that nothing goes wrong because the owner will deny or refuse to help. Our stay was over a hot weekend in the summer when the air conditioner stopped working. It was 80 degrees in the unit and my family could barely breath each night. We reached out to the property owner who said she could find someone to fix it but never did. She suggested we open the windows because the nights are cool. We tried to open the windows and turned on the ceiling fans but it was absolutely miserable. We reached out to the owner a second time and she mentioned the AC unit is probably frozen and asked for us to be patient. We tried everything and the entire home was like a heated sauna. My family was so upset. We left early the next morning and messaged her that we were so disappointed in our stay and her unresponsiveness. We asked for some type of refund for these unbearable conditions. This was not about the money. She ignored our messages for 2 days then finally responded with just “NO” and told us the AC Unit works fine. She even added a follow on comment saying her cleaning crew had to spend an extra few hours to clean after we left. We left the place spotless but this was a pathetic way for her to justify not accommodating us. The property is outdated and the owner is simply out to take your money. I only hope nothing breaks or goes wrong if you decide to stay here. Good luck!

Had an amazing stay here. Everything was as described. Owner communicated within an hour. The fact that we could just walk in and not have to worry about anything such as linens, trash, making beds, etc. was so nice. Can't wait to come back for another stay, especially for that view out the master bedroom. WOW.

We loved the house, the view was breathtaking. You could see the lake and the ski slopes. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We all had our own bathroom which was a plus and the beds were very comfortable. Would love to stay again.

Wonderful Winter Getaway
This is a wonderful property, especially during the current pandemic. It was impeccably clean with fresh hotel style linens throughout. I didn't feel like I was using someone else's stuff. Even the jacuzzi gets cleaned and serviced after each guest. The property was in very good condition. It had a well equipped kitchen with everything we could want. And the owner was very nice and responsive to questions. Great communication. We would definitely rent again.
