We stayed in Katarine's fantastic apartment for 4months over the NY summer and loved every minute of it! Katarine was the best host possible making everything easy from before we arrived until after we left. It was seamless for us to make payments and when I had to depart urgently and unexpectedly she made leaving the apartment and refunding the security deposit stress free. She was on call if we ever needed her and very prompt to reply. The apartment is located on one of the best and most desirable streets in Manhattan and couldn't be more central. Under 2mins walk to 4 subway lines with multiple deli's, a supermarket and many great restaurants and bars out the door. 1 street to SoHo, 1 avenue to West Village and a stones throw away from the beautiful and bustling, Washington Square Park. The Apartment is a lovely New York style brick studio, tastefully furnished with everything you need. A comfortable sitting and bedroom area with a fold down table to provide extra space and loads of storage for suitcases and 4 months worth of clothes. Ground floor meant you weren't having to hike up multiple flights of stairs which made it very easy to pop in and out. The air conditioning was ideal for a hot New York summer. I hope to return to Katharine's apartment again soon and have already recommended it to friends planning a trip to New York in the future! Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed in Katharine's apartment for the month of August. We had a great time. Our first grandchild was just around the corner and this place was ideal for escaping to sleep. The kitchen has everything you need to put on a great meal. The place is clean and well kept. It is very quiet. My husband and I would always laugh when we walked out onto the street as it is alway bustling and you would have had no idea because the apartment is so quiet. Great location because there is so much to do within the neighborhood and subways are just a short walk away. A big plus - it's on the first floor. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Katharine for a great time!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 10 days. We loved it! It had everything we needed -- all the kitchen necessities, a comfortable sitting and dining area, and a bedroom with tons of storage. It was clean and well kept. The internet and phone were great for researching activities in NYC. Katherine was helpful and accomodating and informative. There is a grocery store close by, wonderful restaurants in the neighbourhood, and easy access to public transport. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed for 8 nights at Katharine's apartment and had a fantastic time in New York. Katharine's apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, we were two adults and our 15yo son. The location could not be beaten, with the subway station West 4th right around the corner, it was super easy to get around. Although we also could also walk easily to East Village, Soho, Chelsea, etc. Katharine was a pleasure to deal with, great communicator and she met us at the door to the apartment to hand over keys etc. Wireless was faultless, and a very nice touch was that Katharine had left us some excellent freshly ground coffee. Thanks Katharine for a great stay, we'll be back. One of my hi-lights was a trip to Murray's Deli across 6th and on the left side of Bleecker, the best array of cheeses and meats I've ever seen. Dinner at the little Japanese/Korean restaurant was a very pleasant surprise, across the street and 3 or so blocks up heading away from 6th. Washington park on a Saturday night is loads of fun.

As this was my 3rd visit to NYC I knew this apartment was in the exact location I wanted to be. The Village is such a great area - less touristy and more like home. The apartment was perfect for myself and my friend and contained everything we needed. It is super easy to access the subway and also in a great spot for walking most places. Katharine was amazing to deal with - very friendly and accommodating and always quick to answer any questions. I'll definitely be back to NYC and hopefully to this apartment!!! Oh and being on the ground floor was a god send for 2 girls who overpack!!!

My husband and I stayed in Katharine's apartment for ten days and couldn't have been happier. This was our first trip to NYC and we never dreamed we would find such reasonably priced accommodation in one of the most iconic areas of the city. The apartment is small but not as small as a hotel room, we could make snacks in the little kitchen, relax in the lounge room or watch TV while lying in bed. Everything worked and although a little worn everything was clean and well maintained. We stepped straight onto bustling Bleecker St but couldn't hear any noise from the apartment. We could walk to everything, five min to Washington Sq Park, a couple of min to two different subways and a longer but easy walk into the centre of Manhattan. If you don't feel like walking the subway is easy to navigate and takes you everywhere. We had so many choices when it came to food and drinks and we saw some amazing music. I would recommend seeing the band in the Village Underground and for some lovely comfort food head to the Olive Tree. You will also be surrounded by good coffee. Katharine was wonderful to deal with she and I emailed each other and everything was easy and welcoming. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Katharine.

Very nice, clean apartment on first floor. Katharine was prompt, helpful, friendly. We were able to walk to the Highline park in Chelsea, Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, etc. Tons of restaurants - grab a bite and walk 3 blocks to wonderful Washington Square Park to enjoy the musicians and artists in the park. Hop on/off bus comes right down this street! Easy walk to subway. Very safe and quiet. Apartment is very small, but has all the necessities. Comedy Club in neighborhood is a blast! Would definitely recommend.
