About this house rental
Located in Ocean City, this attractive house for $684 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Sunset Island is a unique gated community at 67th Street, on the bay side in Ocean City, MD. You feel like you are at a resort. There are many activities at your feet like swimming at either the indoor or outdoor pools, one of the 3 private beaches, or strolling along one of the walkways around the island to observe nature at its best. During the summer season there is family friendly live entertainment on the pool deck nightly. The club house is home to a large workout room that overlooks the indoor pool. There is a seasonal grill/ bar that has views of the open bay, beach with palm trees, and the outdoor pools. There is a paddle-board and kayak rental place. At the restaurant, friendly waitresses serve food and drinks poolside so you can relax with your family and not worry about missing anything. The kids can enjoy many activities like crabbing or fishing on the crab pier and riding bikes or strolling on the wide brick sidewalks. There is also an interactive fountain the kids just love. Everyone will enjoy walking to the seasonal Corner Store Market to get a soda or an ice cream. Some prefer just sitting outside reading a paper and drinking a cup of coffee while watching our beautiful surroundings. If you like water sports, jet ski and boat rentals are conveniently located just past the guard house at the Advanced Marina. If the big waves of the ocean call, you can walk the 2 blocks to the Ocean across the street. These are just a handful of the many activities to do on the island, but you also have the option to just kick back, relax and enjoy your surroundings. We are excited to offer to you a wonderful vacation townhome. The bay views here are amazing and relaxing. The first floor is home to the "Hawaiian" bedroom with a trundle bed, a half bath, a closet, garage access, and the laundry room. The second level has an open floor plan with lots of seating and a half bath. We just installed a new wood look tile floor and hardwood steps to the first floor. The family room has access to the front deck for dining al fresco and a game table with some board games. The well equipped kitchen is complemented with new upgraded stainless steel appliances, gorgeous granite, a long dining room table for 12, and an island with 2 bar stools. There is also a morning room with a flat screen, a wicker sectional, a mini pool table, a couple of wicker chairs and ottoman to put your feet up, maybe to read or just surf the internet with our included WiFi. On the third level is the master shell suite with a king sized bed, glass shower, Jacuzzi jet soaking tub, and access to 2nd level deck. There are also two other fun themed bedrooms, The Surfin' USA bedroom with a pyramid bunk bed and the Jungle Gecko room with a queen size canopy bed. The hall is home to a large full bath with glass enclosure and linen closet. The 4th level of the house is topped off with a cupola and a second master, the Sailing Suite with its own full bathroom, sundeck, and queen sized bed. There is also an unused closet that I've heard some people put a portable crib in. Out back, the 2 car garage has a covered parking pad behind it for an additional car as well as an outdoor shower. We keep some beach chairs, kids sand toys, a couple of crab traps, and a wagon in the garage. There is also a gas grill that makes great steaks or burgers, use it in the open area beyond the garage. Within walking distance are the ocean beach, great restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream, mini golf, a nail salon, Sunsations, and a grocery store. A short drive away is the boardwalk, golf courses, tennis courts, movie theaters, and many other activities. During every season, this is a great place to be to have fun and return to year after year. Summer brought COVID-19 and many changes for beach house rentals. The outdoor pool was open with restrictions and reservations needed. The pools and club house are currently open. We’re following CDC guidelines with improved cleaning practices. We bought new pillow protectors for all of the sleeping pillows on the beds, you still need to bring or rent your own linens. 2022 Check in fees due upon arrival at Sunset Island for 3 parking passes and 6 pool passes: 1/1- 4/30 & 10/1- 12/31 $100 5/1- 5/28 & 9/11- 9/30 $150 5/29- 9/10 $200 This is not included in quote. This was my second time my friends and I gathered at this property for our regular ladies prayer retreat. We had a blast! The home was perfect for our needs and the location is wonderful. Lots of space to stretch out but also gather together. We loved walking around the community (except for the mosquitoes, they were pretty aggressive even with bug spray), journaling on the pier, and seeing the beautiful sunsets. It is very close to the beach but far enough way that you dont hear the traffic from the main road. I did feel like some of the upholstered furniture needed to be deep cleaned as there were some stains on the white couch and the cushioned ottomans but overall the house was clean and we felt very comfortable. Would certainly recommend staying here for a scenic, safe, and peaceful trip to OC.

Could not use jacuzzi tub in King suite no water pressure. Bathroom near kitchen toilet didn’t flush. Seems all plumbing equipment needs serious maintenance. Was not aware of some special fees when checking in. $70 for pool pass outrageous I had 8 people. I had to supply toilet paper and paper towels.

We enjoyed our stay at this Sunset Island TH. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We loved being so near to the pool and restaurant.. Drinks at the bar were convenient and good! The only complaint we had was that there was low water pressure at the kitchen sink and the refrigerator. We would definitely stay again.

This was our third stay in Sunset Island and this was our favorite. It was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the pool table. We would definitely stay there again. The only problem was the check in process. If the check in time is 4:00 why does the office close at 4:30?

Great place in the heart of Sundet Island!

We had a fun-filled week at Sunset Island. The townhouse was perfect for our family of 8, including 2 kids (13 and 9). Everyone had their "own" space. The living area was large, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were beach supplies including a wagon, umbrella, and six beach chairs, plus some beach toys. We enjoyed the ocean beach, Sunset Island pool and bay beach, mini golf, fishing trip, paddle boarding, cycling at Assateaugue, and a fun beach day at Assateague National Seashore.
Host, Kelley, was excellent, and responded quickly to any questions that we had.

Wonderful beach trip to Sunset Island!
The Sunset Island community is the perfect place for a family vacation! Our children loved the trip.. We kayaked at the small beach in the mornings, enjoyed the pool, learned about the bay at the environmental class and enjoyed swimming at the little beach. Everything is so close that if you have little kids, trips back to the house for nap time are super easy. The house is very spacious and includes everything you need for a perfect beach trip (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, toys). Kelley responded within minutes when we got to the house and had a few questions. What a great find. I highly recommend!

Nice week in ocean city
Started off a little bumpy bc the cleaning company didn’t do a good job. Called the property manager and she made sure to take care of it. Other than that we were very happy with the property.

Was a great well equipped house. Clean and had everything you needed including beach supplies. Only piece of advice is to get to the check in place before 430 because that’s when they close—otherwise you won’t be able to access the pool/gym until the next day

Awesome time!
We had a great time St. Patrick's Day weekend (even though the parade got canceled due to weather). The house has enough room to accommodate my large family and its in walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay again!

Family Beach Vacation
I really enjoyed this big, beautiful townhouse. We were 6 adults and 3 children and everyone had their own comfortable sleeping and bathroom arrangements. First I'd like to say the kitchen was large and very nice. However 3 of the 5 bedrooms are extremely small. Those 3 bedrooms also have no mirrors to accommodate people getting ready and they also have limited dresser space because of the size. Most of the furniture is cheap mixed pieces and numerous cushions are stained up pretty good along with the carpet. Parking was also a hassle as you are not given a spot on the street and are forced to park in the rear garage/driveway. So if you have multiple families with multiple mid size to larger vehicles you will constantly be forced to move vehicles as there is not enough room to park side by side. The place is just average especially for the price.

The property was as advertised. We all (9 of us) we easily accommodated. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only problem was the ants we found in the house; however the owner, when contacted, found someone the day we complained and he came out that day and eliminated the ants. All in all, we had a great stay.
