Everything was perfect. The only thing that was t working was the jets in the bathtub, but we used the hot tub mostly anyway so this wasn’t an issue. Great quiet cabin in a quiet neighborhood.

Things felt dirty. When we arrived there was hair in the bed. The upper levels had layers of dust. There was a list of things that could have been repaired or updated. The jacuzzi jets didn’t work nor did the sauna. We did enjoy being here but the condition of the place put a negative feel on it.

This place was exactly what we needed for a week away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled away in the quiet woods of Sautee Nacoochee this cabin provided the type of stress free environment we needed to decompress from of work and other life stressors. Far enough away from civilization, but still close enough to enjoy the adorable town of Helen without have to drive for hours. And we got to bring our dog! We especially loved the large tub in the bedroom as well as the hot tub on the porch to unwind. There was some construction going on at a nearby cabin being built, but nothing we couldn't overlook and find other distractions to keep us focused on relaxation. Would absolutely recommend and would likely stay again. -Jake

This cabin is tucked away and surrounded by beautiful mature trees, yet you aren’t far from anything you’d want to do. Whoever designed the layout for this cabin created a spacious cabin for two with all the amenities built in. There is no shortage of natural light, and the leather couches were very comfy. With that being said, if I personally owned this house and came to visit, I wouldn’t be happy about it’s condition. It is quite clear this property doesn’t receive TLC on a regular basis. While I could write a novel on the amount of details which are routinely overlooked, the short story is the cabin was very dusty and had some mold. The cleaning crew used cheap cleaners on the floor which leave behind this greasy film all over the floors, so we had to wear shoes inside because going barefoot was not a comfortable option. The kitchen is barely stocked with the cheapest of essentials and half the appliances need to be replaced. There are couple things to note: 1. They expect you to haul your trash in your car to their office and put it in a bear proof dumpster. Their office was a few minutes away, so not a super long drive, but if you aren’t coming in a truck, make note of this. 2. There’s no washer or dryer at this cabin. Not a deal breaker for us, but if you like to go home with clean clothes, take note. 3. We opted not to reach out to management as it was a short stay and we were out and about most of the time. We enjoyed it, but wouldn’t go back.
