Located in Helen, this lovely house for $232 per night is a great option for your next vacation. A Way Down Yonder You will feel like your living the county song at A Way Down Yonder right on the Chattahoochee River! Our RIVERFRONT townhome boasts the best of the best! Three master king bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms! Your kitchen is FULLY stocked with all your cooking needs with nice stainless appliances and a GAS GRILL on the main floor deck for grilling out your favorite meals! The main floor has a nice large living room for everyone to enjoy watching TV and relaxing as well as a 6 seat dining table with eating at the bar in the kitchen. Also, enjoy the outdoor dining area with views and sounds of the Chattahoochee River. Upstairs has two large king bedrooms with ROKU TV and the Master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the river and a beautiful jetted tub in the master bathroom to relax after a long day's hike! Downstairs has your third king bedroom and full bath that walk right out the hot tub at the river level! An 8ft Slate Pool Table in the basement rounds off a fun evening. Relax by the seasonal gas fireplace in the upstairs living room or on those hot summer days go fishing right from your back yard! Walk to downtown where there are shops, tubing, Water Park, and restaurants. If golf is what you are here for, Innsbruck Golf Course is right down the road, fine dining at Valhalla as well as a spa for a massage! Come enjoy the beautiful mountain air and the town of Helen and all the outdoor activities we have to offer! Enhanced Cleaning Protocol We are taking the recommended steps as presented by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing our cabin for your arrival. We are following the protocols laid out by the CDC and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for Hard (non-porous) Surfaces, Soft (Porous) Surfaces, and Electronics. The linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per the manufacturer's guidelines. We are also emptying the hot tubs, sanitizing, and refilling with fresh water and chemicals after each guest's stay. We look forward to welcoming you to our cabin and hosting your stay. IMPORTANT Notes: Minimum Rental Age 25 The road to this townhome is all paved. There is limited parking at the property. We provide complimentary essential products to get you started for your stay, such as 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 trash bags, 2 laundry pods, 1 bath soap per bathroom, and 1 pack of coffee. Way down yonder exceeded our expectations. It was clean, beautifully decorated and all of the furniture was extremely comfortable. The location was great as it was close enough to everything in town but far enough away to feel private. We had a wonderful time during our stay and will definitely book this property for our next stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Way Down Yonder! It was close enough to walk to downtown and enjoy all the shops and restaurants but still far enough away to be calm and quiet! We enjoyed being able to peacefully sit in our hot tub or walk downtown for Oktoberfest concerts and fun. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, and we were supplied everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!

The condo was perfect for our needs. It was wonderful having three separate bedrooms with king beds and attached bathrooms. The location was great for downtown Helen. It was so relaxing sitting on the deck overlooking the flowing water.

This was the perfect little get away for our family over spring break. The 3 bedrooms were super spacious and the townhome was super clean (a must for us!). The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything you would need in it to eat in. The back decks are so cozy with the firepit and the hot tub, and we loved listening to the river flowing while enjoying our coffee or evening drinks. The entire complex was super quiet while we were there.
The town is so cute as well - highly recommend the Outpost for mining and the Nacoochee Adventures for Zip Lining and the Challenge Course. Anna Ruby Falls is a must visit for sure.

Great time. 6 adults - had our own rooms and bathrooms with another half bath on the main floor. A teeny disappointed that not all bedrooms had a balcony overlooking the river but there were 3 and we ended up on the one on the main floor most of the time. The large dining table was great for cards and projects and dining!!

This property is a 3-level townhouse about ¾ - 1 mile to town center.
It is not ideal for families with toddlers as you have 2 sets of stairs and all 3 levels have exit doors on to balconies. The layout is more designed for adult couples or families with teens.
The townhouse itself is nicely furnished but needs some repairs. (Which I reported to the property manager) Hopefully they take care of the issues. The positive side is Helen is a perfect location as a home base for daily trips out to explore other areas after you have had your fill of the quaint little village.

We came for a girls trip for a birthday and to see Helen at Christmas. We were able to shop and see the parade. We enjoyed the lights at night and spent the evening laughing and enjoying the hot tub and listening to the river. Picture are accurate and very enjoyable house.

This property was just as advertised. Very clean and perfect for the 3-couples in our group. Not exactly walking distance from downtown (25min walk) but a very short drive. Hot tub, pool table, fire pit…all the amenities you need for a great mountain trip. The three king bedrooms each with a private bath, made us wish we were staying longer than just a weekend!
Don’t hesitate, go ahead and book it!!!

This cabin was perfect for our stay during Oktoberfest. Each bedroom has a king bed with it's own bathroom, which was so nice for the 3 couples staying there. The cabin was also very close to downtown Helen, about a 1 mile walk to the Festhalle, which took us about 20 minutes. The cabin was also a nice retreat from the bustle of the crowd, backing up to the river and the hot tub waiting. Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at A Way Down Yonder. I feel it needs to be shared that if stairs are hard, this is not the place for you. The condo is three levels and the stairs are needed for various movements about the cabin. The pool table was a huge hit with the kids and provided great entertainment. I don't feel we were in "walking distance" unless you really like to walk. We had to drive and pay to park when going in town but did find a location for parking that allowed for all same-day returns (behind Cowboys and Angels). The hot tub was also not private on open to anyone that potentially walked up. I'm sure this isn't an issue as it was fairly quiet where we were, but this struck me as odd as I don't see how they keep random folks (especially during slow season) from just walking up and taking a dip. All that said, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if given the opportunity. Helen was a pleasant place to visit. We were there during September so many businesses closed Monday to Wed. Hiking to Anna Ruby Falls was the best and a big recommend!

All though the rain came down for the 3 nights and days, the vacation was enjoyable by all. The condo is located in a quiet and tranquil part of Helen away from the hustle and bustle of main street. The condo is very nicely appointed and has quality linens and furniture. The kitchen has a larger dining space for up to 10 people so many meals can be had in the condo. However, many great meals can be had in town. The condo offers a parking space with several visitor spots with 50 feet of the appointed spot. This condo comes with 3 covered decks that overlook the river and allow for a space to relax. A pool table and hot tub are two additions that can enhance your stay. The entertainment of the condo with the TV was ample and allowed the use of smart tv options for your viewing pleasure. The internet was plenty fast and allowed multiple phones, ipads and laptops to utilize it without any negative aspects. I would rent this place again if available.

There is PLENTY of hot water with enough pressure. Since I was not able to see the full picture online, I booked a place with 20 steps down or up to get to a bedroom, big mistake on my part. This is a beautiful cabin! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful North Georgia getaway
We were looking for a quiet cabin type atmosphere in the North Georgia mountains. What we found was a peaceful home with great amenities, and an amazing town with tons to do. The rental property was clean, we'll appointed, and in great condition (with a few minor wear and tear items that did not affect our comfort or enjoyment).
