We had a fantastic stay at this property. The host was very communicative and helpful as we planned for our stay. The house was a perfect spot for a long ski weekend with friends. It had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our while crew to spread out and feel like they had their own space. The kitchen was PERFECT for cooking for a large group and the pool table/picnic table became the ideal hang out spot while we were at the house. We highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again!

The house was in great shape and had more room than the listing indicated. Lots of common areas and the sauna and hot tub are nice. Location was good for skiing at Killington.

We/a group of 25 , adults, and children ! Had an absolute phenomenal time at Yvonne’s Killington, Black Diamond Lodge ! The house is huge and will literally take you 20 minutes to remember where the hell you’re at . All nice size rooms with full-size bathrooms strategically placed among them . Master bedroom with soaking tub & full shower is a must for the head Huncho . Fully stocked kitchen , has every utensil down to the biggest pot to feed an army. Not to mention the professional stove/oven with griddle top to mass produce the best bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches to feed that army before heading to the mountain . Home also equipped with pool table, foosball, table, bar plus hot tub, & sauna to soothe those muscles after a long day on the mountain . And not to mention multiple TVs in order to watch the big game “ Super Bowl ”Killington Black Diamond Lodge had everything our group needed. Thank you so much Yvonne for letting us enjoy your home & can’t wait to return !

Our group of 16 very much enjoyed our time at Yvonne's house. The place is huge, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and seating areas to fit us all comfortably. Checking in and out was easy, and communication is great. Plus, we are a group of skiiers, and this house was just an 8 min drive to Killington which was awesome.
Some things to note is that the info provided on the listing isn't completely up to date, but there is a welcome packet that gets sent which is all accurate. You'll also have to bring/buy your own things like hand soap, paper towels, etc. which isn't too bad considering a large group.

Our large group of friends enjoyed our stay at this perfect sized house & the location couldn’t be beat. You have privacy & the house layout was incredible so no one was on top of each other. We had babies who were able to sleep while adults had plenty of space to hang out & have fun. The patio, fire pit & hot tub were huge hits as were the living spaces (2 huge living rooms & a kitchen table that easily fit 16.)
As for improvements - the place wasn’t the cleanest, including the kitchen. The dishwasher was full of water on the bottom so it was unusable as we didn’t want to run it & cause a flood. There’s mold from a water issue in the basement (on the ceiling). There wasn’t hand soap at most of the sinks & no toiletries provided such as your basic all-in-one shampoo, conditioner, body wash. We were missing a can opener and some other basic kitchen necessities. The ice machine & water in the fridge didn’t work. Also, there is a camera on property (only one, outside by the front door), which is not listed. The welcome info & actual listing has discrepancies such as check in & check out time, linen information, and door code. It is clear the info hasn’t been updated in some time, & I got answers when I asked the host, but this is something easy they should do for a rental.
Communication with the host was poor. We were not provided any check in information until after we arrived and even then, I had to find a number online to call the host in order to get the door code. Typical communication took 2-3 days on average from the host prior to our stay. It was fine, but just nerve wracking & luckily the check in issue all worked out.
A water sensor alarm went off around 11:30pm our first night & we had no info on how to turn it off - or if it was something to worry about in general. I was able to call the host, but would have preferred to avoid bothering them, especially that late at night.
Overall, our group agreed we would stay here again, but wish some things were cleaner, info updated & that we had known about some of it prior to arrival such as missing hand soap, etc so we would have been better prepared. Lovely home, especially for a large group & such a wonderful area of Vermont.

This place was EPIC
HUGE house. Unbelievable amount of sleeping possibilities. Great hang out spaces, loved the pool table, bar, and fusbol table. The sauna and hot tub were excellent. Kitchen has two ovens so it was easy to cook for a large group.
Truly a spectacular stay- we had no reason to leave other than to ski! (And only 10 minutes from the mountain!) Yvonne was so easy to reach- she responded within 5 minutes every time. Thanks so much Yvonne!

I stayed with a group of friends at Yvonne's house for a Killington ski weekend. The house had more than enough space for us to each feel like we had privacy, and the large common rooms were perfect because everyone had a spot to hangout. The hot tub and sauna were great activities after a day on the slopes. We would love to come back.

Killington and the restaurants, which was key. However, since we were planning on eating at the home, we found the kitchen was quite dirty (appliances and utensils etc). After the CO alarm that continued to go off and a smell of gas was unsettling, the host was hard to reach initially (usually responds a day later), we decided to go ahead and make a call to the fire dept and cleared up everything. Thankfully after that episode, the alarms were are changed and the smell of gas was cleared, and our host finally reported back multiple times via VRBO messenger, our stay was smooth sailing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, which was a plus! Just the kitchen was a tad dirty, so if you are planning to cook, be prepared to wash whatever you need pretty well before using it and be prepared to use an industrial stove! We would stay again for sure despite the initial fun with the CO and gas scare!

The highlights of the house are the common gathering areas: loads of seating with lovely woods out the windows and fireplace in the living room; great second living room on middle floor for playing games and watching TV; loved being able to comfortably seat all 14 of us for dinners at one table.

From the hot tub, to the huge kitchen, to the multiple living rooms, we had the most incredible time. The pictures do not do this home justice. A million times better in person!

Great House for a Family Vacation
We had a great time at this property! We had 13 adults and 2 small children and there was PLENTY of common space for us all to spend a lot of time together. We commented amongst ourselves that we used almost every possible amenity in the house - the fire pit was great for s'mores, the foosball and pool table got a lot of action (the pool table was actually great for puzzles), the hot tub and sauna were great for post-hike relaxation and each of the living spaces got a lot of action! Two of the bedrooms had a moisture problem and we did not use them, so we had to squeeze a bit more than planned, but if you don't need all 10 bedrooms, you should be fine. We also were surprised by how humid the area was when we stayed - having not been to Vermont before we weren't sure if this was unusual weather or the norm. We knew the house didn't have AC but it was warmer than we thought - having all the windows open was critical!! The two dehumidifiers on the bottom level were much appreciated! One other note - the refrigerator is not the biggest, but we brought a separate cooler for drinks and it worked perfectly for us! If you are a large group who likes to hang out together (or even separately), this house will work very well for you!

Great get together space for a lot of old friend
The property was large with a lot of space. Yvonne was a great host, setting us up with local chefs/catering and being as much help as she could for planning a fun weekend for a large group of people. The weekend was a huge success. Only thing to note is that the house does not have A/C. The day we arrived was at the end of a heatwave and was a little warm, but in standard VT summer weather for the rest of the weekend was very comfortable.
