About this house rental
Situated in Kiawah Island, this lovely house for $761 per night is a great option for your next break. Sat-Sat only -Memorial Day - Labor Day. This charming beach home is located in quaint Turtle Beach on a quiet corner lot just 50 yds. from the beach and neighborhood pool. The small cul de sac of Victorian homes, white picket fences and bike paths runs right next to the beach and is convenient to restaurants at The Sanctuary and Tomassos at Turtle Point Golf Club. The Marketplace, tennis courts, Night Heron Park / Nature Center are a short bike ride away. The only real ' traffic 'to speak of , are bike riders, making it particularly appealing to families with little ones. The large front porch offers ocean breezes and the sound of waves crashing . There is plenty of comfortable seating, a table for eating or working, and a hammock for relaxing. It is sunny in the morning & shady in the afternoon . Double doors open to the living room, with new Miles Talbott furniture; cable/DVD TV, and a fireplace for cool nights. There are books, games and puzzles to entertain. The dining room, off the kitchen , features a cherry and wrought iron dining set and doors opening to screened porch . The fully equipped kitchen , with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances is well stocked with plenty of counter-space for cooking. Across the back of the house is a quiet screened in porch with lovely views of the 'Green', plenty of comfortable seating and ceiling fans keep you cool year round. The outdoor shower area may contai beach chairs and Boogy boards for your enjoyment. Beach towels are also provided. The private neighborhood pool is a 2 min walk. The 5 star Sanctuary Hotel, just a stones throw away, offers many fine restaurants and Spa services. Turtle Point Golf course is up the street and the tennis courts, Night Heron Park and The Nest Eatery is just a short bike ride away. Several great restaurants and shops just up the road at Freshfields Village. Historic Charleston is a short 40 min drive, as are multiple Plantations. We loved the house. It was very clean and well-equipped with kitchen supplies. The beach towels, chairs, and umbrella were much appreciated.
The screened in patio became our favorite place to relax, read, play cards, etc.
We had one minor issue, which is possible at any rental, but it was quickly remedied by Tish.
The location between the beach and the pool was very convenient, and both were so close. We have been to Kiawah many times, and I think this was the closest we have ever stayed to the beach. It was very nice, and we would definitely try to stay again on a return visit!

I would sit out on those at night with my infant and rock him to sleep with the sound of the ocean in the background. The layout of the house worked nicely for us being open and essentially having two master suites on either side of the house. The bunk room worked well for the kids - which my oldest loved. We also loved the quiet neighborhood. Nice and close to The Nest and park, just a short bike ride away.

We had a great week in this lovely home. It was very clean and well stocked. It was a cool week so we spent many hours on the beautiful front porch where we could hear the ocean. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas or set up your own. There was also a pool just for the neighborhood. A special treat was watching deer right on the beach or walking through the backyard! We would definitely stay in this home again.

An absolutely charming house located in a quiet neighborhood. The beach was a short walk from the house, and you can hear the beach from the house. I enjoyed spending time laying in the hammock hearing the ocean. I would stay here again.

The owners are proactively trying to find ways to retain the deposit you put down. We put our bags at the house at 3pm (that was a reduction of deposit). Our 3yr old took a key which we tried to mail back but they declined (that was a charge). They wanted to know the location of their handheld umbrellas (would’ve been a charge but we knew where they were). You’ll get charged if you leave toys in the front porch overnight or bikes in the wrong area.
I’m sure nice people, but what a drag. The neighbors were nice enough to offer a heads up on this kind of stuff at least.

This home was so comfortable and this location is the best at Kiawah. The walk to the beach is short and so picturesque. The porches were magical. We could hear ocean waves from the front porch! The hammock was my favorite spot. Morning coffee on the back porch was also a favorite - very peaceful. The owners were very attentive!

We had a fantastic long weekend in Kiawah- the house is beautiful and very clean. We loved the close proximity to the beach and the hammock on the front porch was a big hit with the kids. Greatly appreciated that the house was stocked with beach chairs, towels, beach toys and cooler. Everything was in pristine condition. Highly recommend!!

Everything about this home is easy. From
The check in to the stay to the check out. When I walked in, I immediately felt at home, and that feeling stayed with me the entire time. It is steps from the beach, and all beach items are available to you. From the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms to the washer and dishwasher, everything is there to make life easy. The hammock and back porch were my favorite places in the house. I miss those already, and I am ready to book again as soon as possible.

We flew into town for a family wedding. It was a busy weekend being that our son was the ring bearer and flower girl’s family was staying with us. Perfect spot to take the kids to the water without feeling the need to load everything up and stay for a long period of time. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach and it was great being able to take the kids to the water whenever we got a free hour to spare.

Perfect location. You can hear the ocean from the porch. Close to the pool and 250 steps to the beach. Large home in a quiet neighborhood with nice bedroom separation. Good area for children riding bikes. Full size washer and dryer were a plus with four adults and four children.

Kiawah has become our family’s summer tradition, and we’ve come to realize that Turtle Beach is our favorite location. The home is well equipped with new appliances, comfy beds and plenty of areas to relax. We made use of the front porch’s hammock and enjoyed the screened in back porch in the evenings. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach or pool. Both are an extremely short and easy walk. Tish was an incredibly responsive and kind host. We had a minor issue with the TV, and it was working after a quick phone call. Can’t wait to return!
