Located on the "Gold Coast" between Westport and Fairfield. A great getaway stocked with beach equipment, bikes and outdoor grill, quality sheets and towels, Wifi, flatscreen TV. Minutes to train station, I-95, historic downtown Southport, great restaurants and world-class shopping. This is a wonderful hotel alternative!

our stay was for personal reasons as we are born and raised in CT and have family here. We had beautiful weather, we were two minutes from the beach, and centrally located to 95 and the Merritt parkway. Everything was very close, especially the little village of Southport with Sammy's pizza and the little bakery Sono. Overall the stay was great and the cottage was wonderful. it me all our needs. Thanks to Jeff for being such a great host.

Just as described! Spacious 1 bedroom with large kitchen. Location is great! I was there for business and the weather was snowy, so no trip to the beach. But it's right across the street

Wonderful stay - it is winter so we were able to walk our dogs on the beach everyday. There is also a great food truck that parks at the beach for breakfast.

The place is cozy, clean, and private. It has large windows and lots of sunshine. A beautiful beach is 5 minutes away on foot. The bathroom is very nice and has a washing machine. Nice kitchen. Highly recommended.

This cottage is set on a lovely property and location is close to Southport Center and restaurants. Two minute walk to the beach. Comfortable, good quality furnishings. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful!
It was as great as other reviewers said. The pictures did not do it justice. The apartment is bright and spacious. The kitchen well stocked. Only one block from a beautiful beach. Jeff our host was responsive when I texted him and very respectful of our privacy. Definitely will rent again from him and through VRBO.

Southport getaway .
Jeff’s home is in an ideal location. The carriage house apartment is set back from the road making it a quiet and peaceful location. The size of the apartment was spacious for my husband and I. A perfect alternative to a hotel.
We did not travel with a pet, but this is a pet friendly home. I mention this as we have family members with serious allergies and this would be a consideration for any hypoallergenic travelers.
Jeff was quick in responding to questions and despite apartments proximity to homeowners dwelling completely private.

Peaceful and great location!
Was a nice little getaway for our family of 3 + dog. Our four year old son loved the convenience of the beach across the street. The neighborhood was super nice quiet and serene. Owner is on-site and responsive, helpful and accommodating but also provided complete privacy. Overall, Super cute and great location!

Home away from home
My husband and I are from the area but chose to stay separate from our families due to the pandemic. This apartment was the perfect fit for our needs. It had just the right amount of room for the two of us and our small dog. It also had a good layout between kitchen, living room, and bedroom that provided some needed separation since we were both working remotely during our stay.

Jeff was a great host, and the apartment was larger than it seemed in the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. Great location for long walks with the dog and convenient located near i95. Highly recommend.
