Gorgeous pool and property with mature gardens and great views of the mountains. Breakfast was tasty and served at a leafy patio area with a picturesque pond and lovely ambiance. Staff were attentive and helped with luggage, transportation etc. Comfortable bed and very clean. All makes for a very a relaxing and peaceful stay.
Recommend charming nearby restaurant Piantao with wood-fired pizzas and salads if you want Italian.
The junior suite is listed as having a kitchenette, which it did...kind of. The suite consisted of a shared kitchen with two guest rooms attached. There were no dishes, utensils, or anything that enabled you to use the kitchen other than to put things in the fridge or sit at the table. We saw some guests having their breakfast delivered to their rooms, so maybe it's intended for eating-in only, but it was not a facility you could use as a kitchen.
While the location is not actually far removed from the main part of town it felt that way—it's largely residential and a bit of a trek to find open restaurants for dinner if you don't have a car or want to call a taxi all the time. Note: Uber does not operate locally in Tepoztlán.

Tienen un jardín increíble y la alberca muy bonita con vista al Tepozteco. Los desayunos son buenos y el personal es amable.
Me tocó hospedarme en las recámaras que están hasta el fondo y del otro lado de la cerca hay un criadero de gallos que parecen poseídos. No dejan de cacarear desde las 5 a.m. hasta como las 6 p.m. Es casi imposible disfrutar el cuarto si es que no estás acostumbrado a escuchar gallos gritar como si los estuvieran matando.
