Situated in South Fork, this lovely house for $339 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This home is close to mountains, skiing, sledding, snow-shoeing, fishing, hiking, mountain-biking, canoeing, rafting, - all you expect out of Colorado. Riverfront location, 4 BR with 2 master suites, spacious 2600 sqft, amazing views, cozy fireplace, high ceilings, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, WiFi, lots of power outlets, ... all just steps from the Rio Grande forest! The 2 master suites make it perfect for two families (up to 14 people can sleep comfortably). The home is in a beautiful location, just steps from the Rio Grande National Forest. It has a huge riverfront lot - great to throw a football or a frisbee in summer, or for rolling around in snow in winter! Home includes WiFi and Satellite TV. Please feel free to call us anytime during your stay if you have any questions. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood, but is only a couple of miles from the center of town. There is no public transportation, so you do need a car to get around. South Fork is about 15 miles from the Wolfe Creek Ski Resort. There is no on-site accommodation at Wolfe Creek, so South Fork is a great location to stay at. We would recommend renting skiis and especially helmets in South Fork, so you dont spend time in long lines at Wolfe Creek. Maximum guest permitted on property: 14 Minimum age requirement for renter: 25 years Pets are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted Even though there is an external fire pit on the property, it has come to our attention that external fires ARE NOT PERMITTED in South Fork. Unfortunately, by South Fork Fire Marshall rules, guests are not permitted to have fires outdoors without a personal permit. If you are found in violation, you may be subject to a ticket and will be held personally liable for any damage caused by the fire. If you have any questions, please contact the host through the booking app. South Fork is a high desert and water is in short supply. Please do enjoy yourself, but please be judicious in your use of water. Please - no food or drinks in bed. For kids - no glue, slime, glitter, etc. on furniture or carpeted area No shoes in the home beyond the garage and foyer.

The house was very nice and well stocked with everything we needed. The layout with the two master suites downstairs and two rooms up worked perfectly for our group. Host was very quick to respond to any questions. We had a great time and look forward to booking again next year.

We loved our stay in South Fork at this home! The beautiful, well-made deck on the river was the most wonderful part! We spent every day on the deck listening to the river sounds, watching the wildlife, reading a good book and playing guitar. Fabulous, relaxing time! The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The 2 master bedrooms on the first floor were perfect for our group of travellers. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a great time in Southfork! The location was ideal for what we wanted and the house was well stocked. We were not able to use the trash bin provided as it was already full when we arrived and didn’t get picked up until the day we left. We were prepared from reading previous reviews that we may need to take it to the grocery store. That was the only hiccup we encountered. Beaver Creek Reservoir was amazing and we spent quite a bit of time there kayaking and paddle boarding. All in all it was a great stay. Thank you.

This is a great property for families wanting to be next to the South Fork of the Rio Grande, and quick access to the Lincoln National Forest. The downstairs bedrooms are very nice as are the bathrooms and showers. The kitchen is modern and well kept up. We had just come from our child’s wedding and we’re exhausted. This was a great place for R & R and enjoying the local outdoors.

We had three families staying in the house (6 adults and 6 kids) and there was plenty of space for everyone! Having the river so close was wonderful as we could watch the deer come in the evening. The house was well stocked and clean. Only issues we had were that the upstairs bedrooms stayed pretty warm and we couldn’t get the dishwasher to work very well. Would definitely come again!

Everything about our experience with our vacation was excellent! The house was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three families to spend a week in Colorado! South Fork was a perfect spot for us and the home was surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. We had access to hiking, fishing and UTV trails, all within minutes from the house. The host was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Communication was quick and easy! We highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back to South Fork and would absolutely stay in this location again! Five stars!!

Beautiful house. Plenty of parking room for two pickups and trailers with Side X Sides. The only thing that we ran short on was toilet paper. Taking the trash to Rainbow grocery and paying a dollar a bag was no big deal but you might tell people up front about that. Will deffinitly stay stay again.

Great experience. Ten of us stayed here, all ages. The cabin had everything we needed and then some (although we did have to buy a little extra toilet paper). Great location—it’s at the end of the street and quiet, we caught some fish in the river right below the house (although it’s not super easy access for the kiddos—had to get IN the river to fish right here. But there’s plenty of places with easier access for the kids a quick drive away). We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Our entire family of 12 stayed in this house ages from 10-76 we had an amazing time! We brought our toys so we drove into creede for an off road ride one day. Otherwise we stayed at the house, fished, played cornhole and other games. Loved that this house was at the end of the cul de sac plenty of parking and room.

this is a great cabin to rent for a large group. we had six adults , four children with plenty of room. they should add photos of the kitchen because it is large and beautiful, too bad it isn't really shown. my only critique is that this is more like a hotel than other cabins. in some places, you feel like you are borrowing their 2nd house with everything still in place, including games, kickbacks, etc. This cabin didn't really have that feel - it felt more like a hotel. it had everything you needed but nothing else. its up to you if that is a plus or negative, and either way, it is a small consideration. this is a great place to rent.

We take an annual trip with four high school friends to enjoy the mountains and specifically for fly fishing and climbing one or more of Colorado is 14,000 foot peaks. This beautiful house in South Fork fit the bill perfectly. We pulled more than 30 trout from the river right behind the house over the course of the week. We climbed Handies Peak, an easy and beautiful drive from the house. The house was perfect for us, each guy had his own bedroom and the house had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and the owner was easy to contact and very responsive. Highly recommended.

The cabin is in a great location, it is clean and kitchen is well equipped. We could have used a few more dish rags and washcloths. The cabin had not been cleaned when we arrived due to a communication breakdown but the owner made it right. There was some issue with the electronic lock on the door but ended up using the lock box. South fork had an unusual early large snowfall which caused the electricity to go out. We were without power about 4 hours. The owner was helpful through this and called the power company. Most of South Fork was without power. The cabin was able to stay warm with the gas fireplace but we did lose water. We were unable to watch tv through sling but used our netflix subscription without any trouble. Over all we had an enjoyable stay but with some issues we had to overcome with the help of the owner. We would stay here again.

The house was as perfect as you can ask for. We came from Texas so the breeze at night was delightful. The campfire was definitely the highlight for us. Although we were prepared, they provided the amenities we needed. The view from the house was breathtaking and just far enough from neighbors to feel private.We were not far from the reservoir that was GORGEOUS. A must see for sure!Although it was NOT an issue at all just an FYI for future guests. The site says 4 sets of bunk beds but its 2(4beds)-just in case.Can't wait to come back!
