French doors open out to the deck from the living room giving you further access to the beach. Enjoy dining, fishing, swimming or boating right from the deck. Low tide gives you many enjoyable hours exploring the beach. Easy to bring your boat. There is a boat launch on the peninsula and we have a buoy for you to hook up to. Pets are welcome. Please don't forget to add them to the guests list. Our home is located on the well-known Burton Peninsula. Burton offers a easy hike in the interior or just a nice walk around the loop. We have included many details in the rooms and kitchen for everyone to be comfortable and to feel at home. Beautiful spot, cute cabin. Small but mighty: great kitchen, seating for the view, beach access, comfortable beds. We 5 learned to negotiate the 1 bathroom. Enjoy watching the incoming tide!

Property was just as described, right on the water and very beautiful even for a winter vacation. We didn't have any issues, but Erin was in touch to make sure everything went ok. We had 4 adults in our group and while there are technically enough beds for 6 people it would have felt tight to have any more people in the house.

Did I say quiet? Very calm and relaxing stay in a gem of a cabin on the water. Got my exercise walking up and down the stairs from the parking to the cabin ;) Everything we needed was present.

This is a very comfortable place, with a gorgeous view! Erin is a very accommodating and gracious host, and our interactions with her were very pleasant. These two old hippies were extraordinarily relaxed at this location — watching the gulls, jellyfish, and spurting clams was educational and entertaining. Our dogs were happy as well! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

The good: nice spaces including living room with great water views, clean, being on the water, boats you can use, beautiful deck, nice furniture, accommodating host The bad: no creamer or milk for coffee, only 1 bath, low doorway to hit head on, broken patio doors that don’t close

The location is beautiful. Coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine on the deck in the evening. We used the grill for salmon and steak dinners. The view is fantastic. Thank you Erin for your hospitality.

I stayed here with my husband, infant son, and two dogs for my 40th birthday. The place was even better than I expected. Being right on the water was a dream. I’d definitely return! A paddle boarders paradise. The paddle board on property is super heavy and I needed my husbands help to get it down the beach at low tide but that’s okay. I’m just thankful there was one on property to use. Thank you for a great trip!

We had such a fun time just moms and daughters paddling around in the water, playing games, and enjoying all the great perks the property had to offer. Erin is a wonderful host, and couldn’t be more attentive. We hope to be back!

My son (age 7) and I arrived by boat from Elliott Bay. The house was easy to find, the buoy was secure, and the myriad of kayaks east to access for evening kayak rides and going to and from our boat on the buoy. We saw eagles, deer, and huge oysters and barnacles. It was great!

Amazing beach house! From the deck we viewed eagles, hawks, seals, deer, and jellyfish. Binoculars in the cabin were great for viewing all the nature surrounding the beach house. Despite rainy weather the beach house made our entire stay amazing! The hosts filled the house with everything and anything we needed! The pictures of the property don’t do justice to the experience!

Wonderful cabin and location. Had everything we needed. Very nice to have the kayaks, especially the smaller one. It was my 8yo’s first solo kayak experience, and it really built his confidence. Thanks for making it possible to create great memories together. Also appreciated the nice kitchen and washer/dryer. Owner was very responsive too.

My family of four had a relaxing weekend at the beach cabin in Quartermaster Harbor. The view and access to the water was more than we could ask for. At high tide we could literally walk into the water from the deck stairs. The abundance of kayaks made for an active weekend exploring the bay. A quick dip in the sun felt like summer. Burton Acres park was a scenic quick hike nearby. The expansive deck was a great way to be one with the water. The remodeled kitchen and flooring were nice touches. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The host was responsive and flexible.

Me and two girlfriends have known each other for over 25 years decided to book this place for a one night stay as a mom‘s getaway, it was so peaceful, very quiet with an amazing deal. The house is definitely old, but has lots of character and we weren’t lacking anything we needed for one night stay. Didn’t get to use the kayaks as intended due to weather, but that didn’t change anything for us. We all had a great time and walked away feeling rejuvenated.

Our 1st time staying on Vashon Island was perfection. The host was very communicative, checking in to see if we had any questions before our stay and provided great check-in details even before we arrived. The cabin is very well appointed and so cozy/comfy. We loved the quite and when the tide came in it was so fun to look over the deck to see the sea life through clear, calm water. The water equipment provided was in great shape and kayaking was so enjoyable. Overall, we loved it and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great little cabin right on the water. Quaint but well equipped, cute and well maintained. We were visiting our son and daughter in law and grand kids. 4 year old grand don visited us every day and loved being here. We hope to return.

We loved our time at this sweet cabin so much! The deck is amazing, the house is perfectly equipped and the beds were super comfortable. It really felt like someone was sharing their special home with us, not so much like a rental. And Erin was wonderful! Only wish we could have stayed longer.

I will come back because I love to be on the water and I like to have kayaks available. The deck is very large so it expands the waterfront. The kitchen is well appointed and the dinner table allows for the full accommodation. Burton woods connecting trail is across the street so rainforest hiking is available!!!! Love it. Thanks for sharing!

So comfortable, clean, with every comfort considered! Perfect bay view to enjoy Burton Regatta and our sons rowing camp. Grilled Oyster dinner was an unexpected treat, foraged from a walk at low tide. Enjoyable in rain, fog, and sun.
