Located in Tahoe City, this charming house for $409 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Wheelehan House: This is a large 5 bedroom, 2 bath home located in the Tahoe Park area. It is fully equipped with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc., 52" flat screen HDTV with cable, wireless internet access, stereo with USB/Bluetooth, gas woodstove, level access and parking for 4 cars maximum. Guests must park in driveway only, no street parking. Enjoy the large deck/patio area to the side of the house which has picnic tables and a gas barbecue (summer only). There's also a horseshoe pit and ping pong table for summer recreation! This house is walking distance to Tahoe Park Private Beach area which offers 2 piers, BBQ's, kids play area, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, volleyball, basketball and more! It's also easily accessible to bike trails and walking distance to Sunnyside Restaurant, Fire Sign Cafe, Spoon & West Shore Market!! Close to Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort, Homewood Mountain Resort, and Northstar at Tahoe ski areas. ** Free Long Distance Phone Usage within U.S. ** There is an exterior security camera located at the front door of this home. This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation! Cleaning fee includes linens and towels. Great location and home is large. Unfortunatly we had mice and ant problems. There was a large area under the stairs with mouse droppings. Also mouse droppings were in the water heater closet and behind the washer/dryer. we cleaned up some in the kitchen as well. Saw mice in kitchen crawl into the lower cabimets where the pots and pans were kept. Also had ants in the home. Many ant hills around the property as well. Our concern was the small children going barefoot with mouse droppings on the floor. The upstairs shower did not drain well so you were standing in water. If these things are fixed it would be a great rental.

We had a great ski weekend celebrating two birthdays, with plenty of room for everyone to sleep, two great dinners and lots of board games. The house was set up better than we expected from the listing, not mega-fancy but great communal spaces with a huge dining table and plenty of family room lounge furniture.

We had a total of three families. The house is set up perfectly so we didn’t feel there were many adults and kids in the house. Perfect location too!

This was a great house for our trip with two other families - enough beds for everyone, really spacious downstairs and the huge dining table fit everyone easily. Only complaint was that some of the beds were really saggy and soft - especially the king size bed.

Very impressed with my stay here. The house is very large and very clean. I was worried two bathrooms for a group of 9 males would be a problem, but it never was. I asked West Lake for a cabin with a grill, a large table for board games, and enough parking space for 3 cars, and wow did they deliver. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked me for a place in Tahoe City.
My only problem was how small the kitchen was, which only means 2 people can cook at a time, unless you spread it out to the grill, table, and bar area.

Great location; queen size beds very comfortable; smaller twin beds were un-sleepable for the adults that tried to sleep in them... Other than that, all ten of us adults that stayed there were very pleased with the house - loved that we could all fit at the table for meals together!
