About this house rental
25 Windsor Ave. This 8 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath Beach Block Victorian has been lovingly rebuilt from the ground up. Steps from the finest Cape May Beach and 2 blocks from Washington Street Mall, you can walk to the finest shops, restaurants, and entertainment that Cape May has to offer. When you're not at the beach or in town, relax on one of two front porches, the upper one having water views. When you're not outside, gather at the 9' island in the brand new kitchen. This fully stocked kitchen features 2 full size refrigerators, a Wolf cooktop, 30" oven, and a banquette breakfast nook built from the original antique doors. The open Family Room floor plan allows the 52" Hi Def TV and Blu-ray player to be enjoyed from the kitchen. The Front Room Den has a 40" Flat screen and a comfortable Queen Sleeper Sofa. A true 4 season house, there is central heat and AC, and heated tile floors. A huge 7' X 6' outdoor shower is located out back.
Bedroom 1 is up front, second floor with water view, King Bed, coffered ceiling, 42" TV, and 4-piece Bath across the hall with an original claw-foot tub. Bedroom 2 has a Full size bed and large desk. Bedroom 3 is a King Suite with a 3 piece Master Bath including a 6' X 3' custom Marble shower. On the third floor, Bedroom 4 is a King Suite with water views, sitting area, TV, and a 4-piece bath featuring an original claw-foot tub, and a 3' X 5' shower with dual shower heads. Bedrooms 5 & 6 have single trundle beds to sleep 2 in each room. Bedroom 7 has a twin over twin bunk bed. Bedroom 8 has 2 full size beds and a private 3 piece bath.
High speed WiFi is provided.
We have one reserved parking spot on the street.....again...Location, location. 50 yards to the beach, and walk ( or bike) to anywhere in town.

We stayed here for a girls' trip with 13 women, and the house accommodated all of us comfortably. The location was absolutely perfect—just one block from the beach. We were able to walk everywhere we went during our stay, which was a huge plus.One thing to note is that there are no dedicated parking spots. However, we were able to pull right up in front of the house to unload our cars before finding parking elsewhere. We visited during the off-season at the end of May, so parking wasn't too difficult, but I imagine it could be more challenging during the peak summer months.The house itself was even nicer than the pictures and exceeded our expectations. The host was also very communicative throughout the process and even offered to reimburse us 60 for a parking spot, which was greatly appreciated.A couple of minor downsides: the house does not provide sheets or towels, although this seems to be fairly common in Cape May rentals. Also, the checkout list was a bit more extensive than expected considering there is a cleaning fee—it included tasks such as sweeping and running the bath mats through the washer.Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely return. The location, communication, and quality of the house made it a great choice for a large group.

Great communication from host. Perfect for a large family getaway. Location couldn’t get much better. Kitchen was well stocked and everything in the house was functional.

The home is in a great location, easy walk to beach and town! The kitchen and baths have been nicely renovated! Dave was very responsive and easy to work with ahead of our stay. We arrived the weekend after Memorial Day and the property was not ready for the season. The area in back of the house was not usable. The picnic table had not been set up or cleaned and the other seating was in bad shape. The home had been surface cleaned and the kitchen and baths were usable after some clean up. There was heavy dust through out the house on picture frames, lamps, and bed spreads. If the house had been ready for us, this would have been a great place to stay.
