Fantastic Location. The unit is dated and needs updating. The issues extend to the appliances, particularly the microwave and coffee maker having outlet cords that are not long enough to hit the outlets near their location. Lack of power recipes is also an issue in the unit. The management company is great and we have used them before and will use them again. We just won't stay in this unit again until it is updated.

Great Location...Room Dirty/Gross!
Great Location...Room Dirty/Gross!
Terrible experience with SkyRun @ Copper Mountain. Great location - disgusting room!  Upon a late night arrival, found a room that had not been properly cleaned and furnishings that seemed original to the building, circa 1980.  The bedding was visibly stained with a white substance in several locations, the sheets appeared dirty and were covered in short black hairs, and the pillows were so old they could barely be called pillows.  One of the two (provided for a king bed) was only half the length of a normal pillow.  My husband and I are both military, and have stayed at countless mid to low quality hotels around the world and this room was the worst room we'd encountered, all at $400 per night (including tax/fees). Even the walls had gross yellow stains above the headboard, coffee grounds strewn around the dresser, microwave and even the bathroom, bedding had stains and everything had small black hair on it (sheets, pillows, mattress). The toilet broke twice our first night and there was a thick gross sticky substance all over the only nightstand.  I had to cover the surface with layers of paper towels to prevent contact with the unknown substance (could not be simply wiped off) which leaked through after sitting for a few hours.  It was very disappointing beginning to end.  We looked for another place but sadly without a vehicle there were no other choices. I'd rate this a 1 star experience for the quality & cleanliness.

Can’t beat the convenience. Right by the slopes, with lockers at entry/exit to the ski area. Would stay here again.

Staying directly in Copper Mountain Plaza is simply the best. The room came with a ski locker that fit two pairs of skis and poles (maaaayyybe coudl've squeeze in a small 3rd set). Note: Not sure if the other floors are this way, but for 5th floor lower # apts (like 501 - 508ish) had their lockers by the elevator upstairs, while the higher numbers were more conveniently located ski-level, in the hallway leading directly outside / next to Starbucks. The check-in and check-out process was extreemly easy, covered parking was straight forward but a little removed from the building itself. We didn't find a convenient loading zone by the entrance... something to keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Note: During busy season, it will be difficult to get early check-in since they have to flip the rooms properly and no parking pass option until you check-in. The room was nice and clean, plenty of outlets for devices. Techies: The internet connection is about 10MBPS, but it's one of those connections that is very stable. Two adults were able to take a WFH day with VoiP calls and screensharing (not for video-calling though... just voice). Tip: Frisco is like 10 mins away, and there's a co-working space there that charges like $45 for a day pass. Also a coffee shop with very reliable internet (Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters). We texted the Skyrun for maintenance inquiries, and they responded quickly via text. It took a while for the maintenance team to get there but once they were engaged they helped us out fast. All-in-all, we had a great time there and we plan on returning!
