From the view as you walk in the door, to the access to the beautiful beach just steps from the condo, to the rooftop deck hot tub, everything was absolute perfection.

It was absolutely wonderful. The location is great. Lots of good food and shopping near by. The beach was beautiful. The rooftop chairs and hot tub were lovely. The only thing that we had a hard time with was the stairs. Its a lot of stairs and my parents had a hard time getting up and down. But other than that we loved it.

This townhouse on the beach was absolutely beautiful! The interior was very tastefully decorated and oh my!...those sunsets from the balconies! Loved it! The beach was never over crowded and there were ample chairs and umbrellas to use. My only pause would be the many stairs. There are quite a few steps to lug all of your supplies up, however, it is 100% worth the effort in order to get those amazing unobstructed views! Gorgeous place! Highly recommend it!

I can’t say enough great things about Sol-Mate. The condo is exactly as it appears in the photos. When we arrived, I couldn’t believe how clean it was. I’m quite fussy/picky too. The layout it great. It only took a day for us to feel like we were settled in. There seemed to be a place for all the things we bought so we didn’t feel we were living out of suitcases or tripping over things we brought. The triple sliding doors to the main balcony open all the way so you get some 12 feet of wide open fresh air overlooking the Gulf. Beautiful. I love to cook and I found the kitchen very well stocked pots, pans, grater, juicer, serving pieces, etc. . Also, the essentials to get you started (soap, dish soap, trash bag,s, TP, etc) was a nice touch. The condo is in a great location, close to the busier areas like St. Pete’s Beach and Clearwater Beach, yet far less traffic and noise. Biking is very easy and fun. You can bike to grocery store (2.5 miles,) Pickleball courts (3 miles) etc. . Was a great way to get around. The area is also very walkable. We never needed to turn on the AC as the breeze was all we needed. Sean and Jennifer are amazing hosts. The condo is decorated very tastefully. Really, we can’t say enough great things about our stay, the condo, location. Check out Dunedin to the north and Pass-a-grille, to the south. Both are great spots for a visit.. Also, check out Stans Tapas for dinner. Down the street a few miles.. Food was wonderful. We also bought fresh fish from Nachmans Seasfood Market (a few miles away) which was phenomenal and we bought ingredients to make a few dinners from Mazzaro’s Italian Market. They have wonderful fresh pastas, pizza, meats, sausages, bakery, cheeses, etc. A very fun visit. Note, doggos aren’t allowed on the beach. But, you can go to North Beach in Clearwater if your doggo wants to play on the beach and in water.

Really enjoyed this property. Nice upgrades in older building. Having sunset right outside on our balcony every night was heaven. Used the hot tub a few times too! Owners responsive via text. Gave good recommendations for restaurants. Salk Rock Grill & Guppy’s were our favorites!

Took the family to Florida for a long weekend before the "k-adults" went back to college. This was a great place to stay. Beautiful view, well furnished, very clean and updated. We have 2 adult kids. Our daughter stayed in the upstairs bedroom area and though you can't see in the loft area, it is loud if there are people in the main room. The rooftop deck gave us great sunshine and views on some of the chilly days we had. The sunsets were PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend this unit and this owner!

Views for days at this lovely little beach cottage. Our family of four enjoyed some cozy family time and lots of fresh sea air. The property was clean, very nicely updated and furnished and provided all the little extras travelers appreciate (laundry detergent, beach towels and toys, spices, etc.) We loved exploring Indian Shores and Indian Rocks Beach!

This unit is very nice. It's well equipped, nicely decorated and the location is wonderful! The only suggestion would be that the rooftop, with the jacuzzi be updated, a new jacuzzi cover is needed. Also, it would be nice if outdoor tables were added. We would stay at this property again!! The communication with the owners was great!

This is a very nice property in a very nice location. There were a few minor issues that I need to share to help the owner improve their property and to inform renters.
It’s obvious that the owners put a lot of love into this nicely decorated beach themed property. However, the seat cushions on the living room and dining room chairs are thin, worn, uncomfortable. The metal blind cover at the sliding door extends down 4” and is a hazardous head-banger for tall people. No door on the master sink/dressing area with frosted glass door to toilet/shower makes it a challenge to not disrupt sleeping partners.
Nothing you can do about it, but renters with any mobility issues should be aware. There are two full flights of steps to the unit (no elevator). Inside the unit, there are some awkward level changes in the master bathroom and guest bedroom.
The owners were very responsive to an issue we had. Despite my comments, I would recommend this unit. Covered parking is nice. Great beach. Great views. Great sunsets.

I am very conflicted about writing this review because there were so many things right, but also a lot of things wrong with the property.
The first thing that was bothersome was no response to my communication inquiring about early check in. Just no response at all 3 weeks prior to check in. A reply explaining their check in policy would have been nice.
THE STAIRS!! There is absolutely NO mention, in the condo description of the 3 flights of stairs that you must walk every time you leave and return to the condo. My husband has a leg injury and I have lung disease, so knowing that we'd have to walk those 3 flights of stairs would have been a deal breaker for us. Disclosing those stairs should have been a MUST.
The towels in the unit were horrible. Very cheap and small. Bath sheets would have been nice. For the price we paid per night, a higher quality towel would have been appropriate.
Being a beach condo, a handheld shower should be a must to get all the sand out of all the body crevices. The water pressure and the showerhead in the master bath was not sufficient at all and we'd wake up with sand all over the sheets. Speaking of sheets..
There was only 1 set of sheets per bed. No change of sheets was to be found anywhere in the unit.
The kitchen was sparsely stocked with the cheapest pots and pans you can buy. The handles on the pans were lose and rusted. We actually had to go to Target to purchase nonstick pans to prepare bacon and eggs for our group. There was no pizza cutter, and the knives were dull and did not work.
Some plastic glasses would have been nice to bring drinks down to the beach as well. Red solo cups don't cut it.
Also, the closet with all of the beach gear was gross. Everything was musty and stank like mold.
Our jacuzzi was green and smelly upon arrival and was unusable for 3 days. ( However was fixed promptly upon notifying them of the issue )
The thing that irritated us the most was the check in instructions to not have the air conditioner on colder than 78 degrees. How ridiculous is that? It's summer, in Florida and you threaten to charge a "service call fee" if the unit freezes if we turn the air colder than 78 degrees. I'm sorry but there is NO way I'm going to live for 10 days in Florida at 78 degrees. That should be disclosed in your listing and not sprung on us 3 days before check in.
I've stayed in many rentals in Florida and for the money we spent, I doubt we'd return to this one.

This property is immaculate at has been beautifully updated. Even better than the pictures show! This unit is on the third floor and has a loft upstairs. The views of the ocean are amazing. Choose from one of the three balconies available! There is a hot tub on the sun deck that we didn’t get to take advantage of with time constraints but amazing views from there as well. All beds and their linens were nice, clean, and smelled good. It’s across the street from a putt putt golf and a pizza place that was delicious. The beach is shallow for a while. if you have small kids it is great for them. We had a really great time and would definitely stay again!

The check in process was kind of hard. If I didn’t have my husband pulled the door we wouldn’t have be able to get inside the room. The STAIRS!!! That was brutal. The owners were not as responsive texting!! I called about the room and nobody was answering the phone; so made it hard to contact anyone if you needed anything. At least the room and the view were beautiful!

Against all odds, I contracted COVID days before departure. Purpose of my trip was to visit my bedridden mother who I’ve not seen since 2019. Owner completely ignored my request to re-book. It was a last minute booking so it’s not like he lost business!

Stunning
This property was absolutely breathtaking! Not only was it super easy to access and close to lots of little shops in walking distance, but the beach was literally right outside the back steps of the building. One of the nice things our family noticed was that our section of the beach was never congested. We never felt like people were on top of us. The hosts were easy to communicate with when needed, and the place itself was gorgeous! Definitely looking to book this again sometime next year.

Beautiful view with close proximity to beach
This condo is in a convenient location close to the beach. The beach is a beautiful white sand with gentle slope and waves. This area of the beach is not crowded. The condo is older but well maintained. It is nice with very comfortable beds and the kitchen is decently stocked with dishes/pots and pans. Grocery stores are not too far away. There is a closet downstairs with beach chairs, umbrella, etc. but take your own beach towels. The washer and dryer are nice. They supply a starter supply of soaps, laundry detergent, toilet paper. There are 3 flights of stairs to the condo. There are also 2 parking spots allotted (one covered and one uncovered). Overall we had a very pleasant stay at this condo in Indian Shores.
