About this condo rental
Nestled in Mendon, this attractive condo for $135 per night is a great option for your next vacation. There is sleeping for a possible 4 kids in the bunkroom but 8 total in the unit There is a queen in each of the other bedrooms There is outside locked convenient storage for skis or bikes. There is an airlock entry. There is a full size kitchen new stainless steel refrigerator new bosh dishwasher, new stove stainless self cleaning as well and brand new washer and dryer this year 2019. large solid wood dining room table. There are two sofas. Also in the living room there is a wood burning fireplace all wood is provided on property and fee of charge with your rental. There is a deck off the living room. Brand new silk blackout curtains in the living room. there is a brand new flat screen 37' TV with DVD and VHS. There is a totally updated half bath on the first floor. The bathroom has a granite top and new wood vanity. New mirror, light and flooring. Bathroom upstairs also fully renovated. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms and full bath. The first bedroom has a queen bed, with a brand new 500 TC duvet and new comforter in the duvet (all bedrooms have new duvets and comforters/blankets). All of the pillows are brand new and very comfortible and are down or down alternative in all bedrooms. It has a brand new flat screenTV that is 26' The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with the same linens mentioned above. Both Bedrooms have full size closets. It has a brand new flat screen TV that is 26' The 3rd bedroom is very large and has 3 bunk beds in it (sleeping 6) The two other bedrooms sleep two persons each. The bedding is also the same as mentioned in the queen bedroom. It has a new flat screen TV with a DVD built in and is 22'. The bathroom upstairs is totally renovated with new flooring, shower curtains, bathroom assessories, mirror, light, vanity (has two sinks in it very modern style vessel sinks). No Saturday arrivals or departures during the prime rental season mid dec thourhg april 4th. There are washers and dryers on site in a common area and also in the unit itself Emergencies: Any problems at check in please do not hesitate to call me on my cell home. Calls after 10pm and before 7:30am that are items you should have been privy to by reading the house notes a charge of $250 will apply or if you lock your self out and I must wake up to get you in with the emergency method between the same aforementioned hours there is also a $250 charge If you lock yourself out DO NOT call Killington they cannot help you. I am in Killington quite a but and you never know I may be literally steps away. If you lock yourself out there is a $250 charge for the hours mentioned above and if it is outside those aforementioned hours a $75 charge applies. We came into town to see our friend play a two night show at Pickle Barrel. The place was perfect. Check in info was thorough and easy. Kim was great. She was responsive to communications and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here or one of her other properties again!

We had a great time

Pros: good location right in the heart of killington complete with shuttle services and nearby slopes. This is one of the many killington condos.
Cons: arrived with only 1 key working and ice cold water. The owner charges a fine for contacting late hours so we waited for the morning to rectify this. Water went from ice cold to lukewarm after 24 hours into the trip after owner sent maintenance. She offered the group to shower at another location which was not a convenient alternative. Half the group took ice cold showers, the other half lukewarm. Not ideal after a day on the slopes.
The tables and chairs are pretty broken so make sure to take pictures and avoid any security deposit fee. And try not to hurt yourself.
A full or partial refund was requested but owner refused it since this “wasn’t all brought to her attention during the stay”. We were out doing things, enjoying the vacation and not trying to harp on the hazardous furniture and lack of basic amenities such as hot water.

had a great stay here, it was during a heat wave and gladly found some fans in the unit. windows didnt work great, but the owner kim (who is great at communicating) was aware and they were going to be replaced.
close location to the rams head and snowshed lifts and even a ski in trail in the winter....... enjoyed so mush that we will be staying there again in the future

A Beary Good Time In Killington
This Bear themed condo was perfect for our ski trip to Killington. The space fit our entire group of adults - each person had a bed and more. The location is great, right off the Edgmont trail, we could ski home each day. Other than some minor cosmetic concerns and our group having trouble locking the front door and doors throughout the condo, it was a great stay. We'd definitely come again!

Kim’s Ski slope ski off condo
The experience was good , location was perfect . The shuttle picked us up right at the end of the property and clearly labeled . Firewood was close to the house for indoor fireplace . The main appeal is the effortless trip to the mountains via shuttle , they go from the time mountain opens till close .

Great Condo - Great Location
I stayed with a group of friends for a long weekend of skiing. The condo is just as described, the location is perfect and Kim was very responsive to questions. The shuttle is easy to pick up at the parking lot entrance and the trail home ends almost at the door. The most important features to our group was beds, proximity to K, and the ability to just eat in/hang out...this place delivered.

This unit works well for a group. Great convenient location. Older property, dated bedding, furnture and kitchen appliances/utensils. Owner not concerned about bathroom leak coming through lower level ceiling. ChexMix spilled on deck had not been cleaned from prior renter.

Location of this property was great, the ski-home trail was one of my kids favorite part of our trip.

Good Property, Poorly Managed
The house is fine, mostly as advertised. I am very disappointed with the landlord though. First, we showed up and the hot water was shut off. It was an easy fix and normally I wouldn't mention it, but it was only the first sign of what was to come. There also wasn't any wood with the property, even though the listing advertised it. When I contacted the owner with these issues, It was clear that she was enjoying herself in the Caribbean and didn't care too much about our concerns. She was able to provide suggestions on how to turn the hot water system on, but her clues as to where the wood was proved useless. Again, these things didn't ruin the weekend, but in light of what happened next they seem pertinent.
After the weekend, the landlord withheld part of my security deposit claiming that we left the condo a mess. She claimed there was vomit left in a bathroom, grease all over the kitchen, and that it took her cleaning service almost an entire day to set the place right. This simply was not the case. Nobody vomited in the condo and we cleaned up any messes we made before we left. When I asked her to check her bill to make sure she was charging the correct unit (she owns multiple condos at Killington and over 20 in total) all I got was more crap about sailing around the Caribbean and no help.

Great ski weekend
Wonderful condo very close to the hill with shuttle to the hill and ski out to the back side of the condo. Can sit on the balcony and watch the skiers come in. Very well equipped and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice open fireplace with wood provided.

Ski home to a cozy condo!
Cozy and comfy condo conveniently located on the Killington shuttle route. Our family of five enjoyed skiing home after exploring the trails of Killington, and spent the evenings in front of the toasty wood stove.

Location, location, location
If this wasn’t ‘on the mountain’, it would of received 4 stars. But it is, so it gets 5! The coffee maker was broke, the smoke detectors were beeping away due to low battery power. The decor is dated in a cozy, chalet way. The fireplace is pretty difficult to draft- make sure you open the flue properly. Once you get it going it works great and they supply endless, quality wood.
The bed in the second room was heavenly! Two (1.5) nice bathrooms. Owner is responsive to issues. There is no hot tub as the amenities list had indicated.
You can literally ski right to your door!! It has a cute balcony where you can see skiers and lifts. Shuttle will bring you to the lifts.
This was a great place for me and my four guy friends. If you are looking for upscale- you might do better at the resort hotel.

Perfect ski get away
A group of us stayed at this property for a Killington ski weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is a 5 minute shuttle ride (or 15-20 minute) walk to Snowshead base. And at the end of the day you can ski/ride back to the lodge via the Edgemont ski-home trail.
The house is in great condition with a well-equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable - just the right firmness and they were professionally made on our arrival.
Do be warned - you should come in vehicle with 4WD and/or snow tires in the winter - the parking lot is on a moderate slope up from the main road and you may have trouble getting up here if the road is covered in snow.

Great location
We had a wonderful time staying here. There was a fully stocked kitchen with all of the appliances we needed and it was very close to the slopes. Perfect for our group of 8 young adults. Kim informed us about everything we needed to know in order for our trip to run smoothly. The only problem was that some of the outlets did not work and the TV did not work properly because of the connection. Overall, nice place and I would recommend!

Cozy Killington ski off condo
The accommodations were as described, and the owner was quick and responsive with all communication. The fireplace was a little smokey at first, but pushing the fire to the back of the fireplace cleared that up. There's plenty of firewood nearby. Overall I recommend it!

Great family rental in Killington
I spent a week at this apartment with my husband and 3 daughters aged 20.18 and 14. We found this apartment to be perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for everybody to have their own space. The description of the apartment was very accurate, and it contained everything that you need. I would definitely recommend this rental and hope to come back go back there again.

Great Spot to enjoy all that Killington has to offer!
Stayed president's Day and the following few days, condo was great! The fireplace gave it an authentic ski chalet feel! Very clean with plenty of room. The condo is in the heart of everything., with shuttles to make life easy! Kim, the owner was very helpful, the entire stay was a breeze. Will definitely stay again next year.

Killington Ski Trip
We just recently returned from our trip to Killington and had a great time. The condo was exactly as described to us. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and it was as close to the ski home trail as you can get. while you cannot ski onto the trails, the Shuttle Bus was very convenient and arrived every 15 minutes.
Kim (The owner of the property) was very professional and responded within hours of any questions or concerns we had during the rental period. We had no issues during our rental and were very satisfied with how everything turned out. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in a Ski off property but not ready to pay the prices of the Killington lodge.
