Cottage is in a great location with good view of the beautiful blue waters of Torch Lake, especially from the screened in porch. Tim was a great host! Cottage has a lot of history to it and was the perfect place for us to eat, sleep, and just hang out when we weren’t busy doing things with our family that lives nearby. We will e back!

My family and I drove out from New Jersey and stayed here for a week. We all had a great experience. Torch Lake is a very short walk from the house. Short enough that bringing kayaks and small children wasn’t a hassle. There’s also a nice playground within walking distance. Walk a little further (or a very short drive) and you’ll be on the beach of Lake Michigan. The owner is a great guy who genuinely wants his guests to have a great time. We can’t say enough about how great our stay was here.

Owner Tom is a gem. Very friendly, accommodating and lives to share family history of how the cottage came to be. Very interesting history. Convenient to boat launch, docking access and family park. Used Barnes Park Campground for over flow guests and worked out very nicely. Weather was great, lake incredible and we will be back! Thanks Tom!
