This beautiful second floor Turtle Cove Villa offers two bedrooms, high ceilings, cherry hardwood floors, and long lagoon views. The villa is a 5 minute walk or quick bike ride to the beach. The villa welcomes you with lovely lagoon views that can be seen from the kitchen, eating area, family room, and master bedroom. You will immediately feel relaxed in the soothing designer colors and furniture throughout the villa. The screened porch is a great place to enjoy the fabulous lagoon views and sunsets. The living room is a great gathering space to watch a movie, play a game, listen to music or read a book. The kitchen opens up to the dining room with a table and seating for 4 and has convenient access to the screened porch. Enjoy your cup of coffee (brewed by either the Keurig or standard coffee maker in the villa) while taking in the gorgeous lagoon view! The master bedroom features a king bed, ceiling fan, an armoire with a TV, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has two full beds, SmartTV and an attached full bath. This villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours! During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, boating, Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina aquarium, horse drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks and sumptuous dining. RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. Very nice unit overall - well kept, updated, comfortable all around. Kitchen was well equipped. A seemingly little thing that we appreciated - tons of towel bars! Just goes to show how the owners think about details. The rental agency gave warning (along with a slight discount to our original price for our stay) about construction/renovation in unit below us, but there was no activity there at all during our visit at the beginning of August 2023. It’s a 4-unit building and we actually had it all to ourselves. Convenient to the beach. First time to Kiawah and we will definitely be back and would certainly try to stay in this property again!

Super clean condo. I’m very picky about cleanliness and I cannot complain about one thing. They also provided plenty of trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. Great location on the pond, we could watch the wildlife off the porch. Quick bike ride to the beach.

Overall a good experience on a beautiful island with clean beaches and great trails. There were a few minor issues that travelers may want to know before going. The presence and threat of alligators prevented us from using the available dock on the canal. The closest beach access lacked restrooms. Some of the restaurants turned us away because they were understaffed or it made wait times very long. Reservations are recommended.

We had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful condo! It was very tastefully decorated w/ a well stocked kitchen. The screened porch furniture was very comfortable and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there watching the wildlife in the lagoon. The condo is in a great location and is just a 5 minute bicycle ride to the beach. It’s also a 5 minute bicycle ride to the tennis courts and the East Beach Market. We look forward to returning to this slice of paradise!

This property was exactly as described and more. Views of the pond, and alligators, was wonderful from the shaded spacious deck. After spending five days enjoying coffee out there every morning, hated to leave!
Property was immaculate, updated and very well appointed: Binoculars on the porch, board games, flashlights & umbrellas available if needed, and kitchen accessories are very well stocked and organized. Beds comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets/pillows. Would definitely stay here again.
*Loved being up higher for views, breeze and privacy. However, that meant a few flight of stairs, so perhaps not ideal for folks that need to carry lots of children’s accessories up and down, or those with mobility issues. Totally worth it for us.

We have vacationed at several VRBOs in several different southeast areas along the shore. I would have to say this unit (owner) was the most thoughtful to provide everything we would need. Even flashlights and binoculars to watch the wildlife! Little things like dish tabs, paper towels, and soap were so appreciated! Everything was so clean and updated. Would give them 5-stars and would love to come visit again!

We have been coming to Kiawah Island since 1984. We have stayed in numerous houses and condos. While this unit was ok, it felt cramped. Getting into and out of the porch was tight. Beds were very soft or very hard. Not comfortable the the 4 of us. I would rate it below average of all the places we have stayed at Kiawah.

There were mosquitos everywhere in swarms as soon as you left the front door. There were so many in the condo that there were mosquito smash marks all over the walls even from previous guests. The bathrooms always had them buzzing around. The screened in porch looked as though it just doesnt get cleaned. Dirt and webs everywhere and the patio furniture is dirty and stained. We went out there once and that was enough. We went with another couple and we got the guest bedroom. The closet floor was so dirty, we didnt dare put anything in there. The blow dryer in our room was a wall unit like hotels have, but it was stuffed under the sink with toothpaste smeared on it. When I turned it on, it just hummed, but didnt work at all. The beds are in need of replacement, very saggy in the middle!!! The towels were thread bare. The fridge was dented and dirty. The tabs was not clean as we first came in, there appeared to be a pubic hair on it. No pride of ownership here, just absent owners running a condo hotel. The outside property is also poorly maintained. The steps up to our condo didnt look as though they had been swept in some time, thus we were constantly bringing in a mess on out shoes. None of the walkways around the whole complex were not maintained. There were cobwebs all around the condo and LOTS of bugs, mosquitos and green worms hanging from the trees that left these webs that you would walk into where ever you went. They should let you know that there are alligators in the pond that the condo overlooks. DANGER signs are posted, but there are no fences. Not a good place for children. This condo was not worth staying in, and the complex itself was not as nice as the others we saw. Pass it up!!!!
