About this condo rental
Located in Galena, this lovely condo for $175 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The Gelena area is visually stunning and loaded to the gills with romance, family fun, events and activities plus the great outdoors. Come live in our world for a bit. It's a sure bet!!! The one bedroom is completely and beautifully furnished with ALL utilities set up and included: Cable and wi fi Electric, gas and water The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, dish ware, toaster, microwave, electric stove, coffee maker, glasses, tupperware, ect... Living room consists of 42" flat screen tv, sleeper sofa and leather recliner. Bedroom consists of very comfy king size bed and 30" tv with cable. We also provide a comfy futon that is right outside the bedroom for privacy. We provide all the linens, pillows, and blankets. Full bathroom included a full tub and shower, ample closet and bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. Private deck with patio furniture is great for coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening!

The location is fabulous! Super cute quiet place. Plenty big for my mom and I to stay. It was a little hard to find in the dark but some nice gentleman pointed us in the right direction. Super clean.

My friend of decades and I stayed at this sweet apartment overlooking the Main Street. It was lovely viewing the passers by as we sipped our coffee. Loved that we didn’t need to move our car at all from start to finish!
The only small drawbacks were that the lighting isn’t bright enough for old people and there was a bit too much dust. Otherwise it was great!

This place was perfect! Within walking distance to most everything we wanted to see. Place was clean and had adequate space for 3 people. We really enjoyed the little outside patio in the evenings. The big burner on the stove does not work, which makes a little difficult to cook. We also had trouble getting the toilet to shut off. But overall it was a wonderful place to stay, and we plan to rent again this next spring.

I am very detailed when it come to house keeping, ceiling fans have alot of thick dust on blades ,otherwise we enjoyed very well suppied with all items you need in a home like setting thank you!

We really enjoyed our time in this Galena apartment. It was so nice to be able to park at the apartment and be within walking distance to everything! The apartment had everything we needed and more and the bed was very comfortable. We hope to stay here again soon!

It was a great place to stay for a short visit. The apartment is smaller than it looks online - but for location and access to downtown, it was perfect for a two night stay. Very comfortable furniture and close to the apartment’s parking spot. Very clean and smoke free.

We were barely in the house as we only stayed one night. The location couldn’t be more perfect! Small and quaint but enough room for my sister and myself. The parking spot was wonderful as well rather than trying to find parking on the street. The back deck is super cute but I was thinking it faced the main street so we didn’t sit there much. Overall I would stay there again! It was so nice to be able to rent for just ONE night…so many have 2-3 night minimum stay.

Charming converted attic apartment situated above main street shops. Entrance is on the street behind; surrounding buildings aren't as picturesque as those on main street but don't let that deter you as the apartment is centrally located and has its own dedicated parking spot across the street. Walking distance to everything! Main bed and sleeper sofa were both very comfortable. Main bedroom is separated from living area (where sleeper sofa is located) by a wide hallway containing a sleeper futon. Main bedroom and living area share one bathroom via Jack-and-Jill doors. A bit of an unusual layout but to be expected with an attic conversion. Adjoining rooftop patio was very nice! No view but comfortable and charming. 2 extra outdoor seats are provided seating a total of 4.

The location of this property cannot be beat if you want to explore downtown Galena. King bed is super comfortable, back deck was enjoyable, and people watching on Main St. was fun. Communication with the owners was clear. The property could definitely be cleaner and the futon was really uncomfortable for sleeping, but overall, we were very happy with this stay!

First time my husband and I stayed on Main Street for our 5th annual Galena Christmas shopping trip. I personally loved the “vintage” feeling of the place. Reminded me of my childhood home. We wanted to write in the guest book but didn’t have a pen. We thought about buying a pen at a shop but then stopped at the De Soto Hotel and had too many Long Island Ice teas 😂❤️ Even went down to the Scent shop directly below and LOVED that. The electric heat made me static-y and I kept getting shocked but it was still fun! I loved hearing the trains even at night. I love the Galena experience overall. Time to come back with the girls though. My husband is tired of shopping I think 😂 Thank you for a great, cute, cozy place to stay!

The fee plus cleaning was way over other places to stay in the area. It’s not a bad place, and was clean, but not worth the money.

We got there and there had been a communication issue with the cleaner. Host was very understanding and no issues when we told her we weren't ready to wait for cleaning (had driven 10 hours and were done). Unit looked a little darker than pictures but we weren't there very long. Very convenient location to all the shops and resturants.

My husband and I stayed at this VRBO as we had a wedding in Apple River. About 30 minutes away. This apartment is in a great location. It ‘s very clean. Did not need to contact the owners about anything. Everything was very easy. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to be near downtown Galena.
