The place was clean and well cared for. Lots of hiking trails near by. Beautiful views. The community is nice and friendly. There are tons of areas to sit by the water and have a BBQ. The pool is clean. My kids enjoyed the club house as well.

We had another great stay with our family. As always we enjoyed the home, fun times at the pool, bbq and kayaking at the beach,, fire pit at the spit, tennis by the beach, fishing at the marina, and the family of deer that came by to say hello every so often at the house. Looking forward to another trip next year!

This was our 3rd stay at this house (5th at Hartstene Pointe). What was different this time was that we stayed for a full week, and every day was blissful! This house has everything a family could need - pack in enough food for a week and everything else is just there. Amazing days spent swimming at the pool or down in the lagoon, walking the trails and taking in the solitude and space that Hartstene Pointe is so good for - then changing gears and playing pickle ball or tennis, going for runs, a bit of fishing and then grilling dinner and relaxing in the cool shade of the comfortable porch before going down to the spit for a campfire - where we got the bonus of staying late enough to watch the Perseid meteor showers... Entire family woke up the next day asking whether that actually happened...unreal! Loads of gratitude to the hosts for letting us use their very special home again. We would love to come back for a 4th stay someday soon!

I believe this is the third time we have stayed at Lyon's house on Hartsteine Island. We really enjoy the tranquility, and the friendliness of the area. The house is well equipped, and very clean. I know we'll be back again! Gary

We arrived after business hours and couldn’t get patrol to answer from the call box. Then someone let us follow them through gate but we didn’t have cell service to pull up the key code. The pool was fantastic, nice and warm and not crowded. The house was very spacious and well stocked. Appreciated being able to bring our dog with us and even off leash on the beaches.

There are all sorts of games, air hockey, books, movies, streaming services, dishes, spices, condiments…. THE WORKS. Wifi works great! Grill works great and we had dinner one of the nights on the front porch. That’s just the start of the great things about this place. The community is PEACEFUL. No chaos, friendly neighbors everywhere we went. Pool was heated, playground was safe and sturdy for my 1 and 3 year old, fitness center has everything needed for a short stay workout, there were places to sit around the fire and enjoy each other’s company and the clubhouse was very inviting with lots to do. It was too cold to enjoy the lagoon. But that looked pretty cool. Same with the beach. The trails were nice and we even met a friendly deer. Last but not least, the hosts, Sarah and Lyon answered any questions I had and stayed consistent with communication from the initial booking to the actual vacation. Thanks for making Father’s Day weekend FANTASTIC! We Look forward to the next time we can come out here. FYI: signal away from the home is touch and go. But there are so many other things to do other than be on your phone.

Easy check in process and we were able to check in early. Which helped since our plans got canceled due to rain. House was clean, very open concept and bigger then the pics showed. We had a dog, there was a nice area in front of the house for her to use. Games to play, Wi-Fi to use and streaming was easy!!! We will actually be back since this house around the corner from my parents.

Our new family favorite! We were never at a loss for things to do. There was a playground, pool table and ping pong for the indoor enthusiast and hiking/nice walks for the beauty of the outdoors! We also kayaked and had an evening of s’mores at the spit watching the sun go down. We will definitely be back to this very clean well equipped retreat!

This location offers the prefect getaway for a no-hassle vacation for our family. Once we arrive at the Pointe, we don't leave! We take daily walks, cook our own meals, look for sea creatures and play on the beach, and do puzzles, play games, and watch movies at the cabin. We are repeat customers!

We had a wonderful getaway to Harstine Island! We loved the walkable property, the trails, the lagoon a low tide for crab hunting, and of course…the pool! Great to have WIFI! The only thing we’d recommend is sharper knives in the kitchen!

Stayed here with some family. We had 2 toddlers and infants. The house had plenty of toys and books for them to occupy themselves. Double bunk beds were more than enough for play and sleep. Short walk to the community pool. Slightly longer walk to the beach and spit. Kayaks were great to have and were fun new experiences for the kids.

Very clean, comfortable beds, amenities can't be beat, and the house is well stocked for adults and kids. Cast iron pans and quality pots and pans, game closet, kayaks, bikes, basketball hoop up on the wall, vhs movies in the kids room and multiple fans which we appreciated when it was 97 a couple days. Another great stay at this lovely home. Was perfect once again for our annual family getaway. This year we also rented the house in the same driveway and had extended family join us. We all had so much fun having cookouts at the beach, riding kayaks, playing tennis, fishing, and so much more. Lyon is very responsive and we look forward to returning again next year!

This was our third time visiting, and we are already talking about coming back. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, with a big kitchen and outdoor grill for making meals together. We had fun visiting the pool, playground, and beach and taking long walks. Before and after outdoor adventures, we would do puzzles, art, and play with toys. This is a great place for families with kids to visit!

My family absolutely loved our stay! Harstene is just magical, and the house was so cozy and charming. We really appreciated how family friendly the house is. Thanks so much for letting us stay and enjoy your wonderful home!
