About this condo rental
Located in Kihei, this lovely condo for $375 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Wall to wall, ceiling to floor windows in the living room and master suite open unto private lanais which offer panoramic views of West Maui Mt and peeks of the ocean. Every room is cooled with Split System AC's with remote controls. Master suite has a King bed (single futon stored underneath for a child), private lanai, vanity area and full bathroom. The master suite has AC & ceiling fan, large (mirrored doors) closet and a wall mounted 25' TV w/DVD. One whole wall of the bedroom is floor to ceiling window and sliding glass doors to the private lanai, master also has Black Out Shades for a good nights sleep. You don't have to be on the lanai or get out of bed to enjoy the view! The master bedroom affords privacy from the living area and the second bedroom. Second bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin bed with wall to wall, ceiling to floor mirrored closets, AC and a ceiling fan. There are white shutters on the large window with a view of Mt. Haleakala. The second bedroom has it's own hallway and full bathroom which allows for privacy also. Living room sofa opens into a Queen bed. Each bedroom plus the living room have their own new Mitsubishi , extremely quiet AC with individual remotes for climate control. The spacious living room area has a 55' LCD Flat screen TV. Free WiFi. Condominium is handicapped-friendly with grab bars in both shower/tubs. Condominium is one level - no stairs. Condominium complex has elevators. This is an end unit and is the closest unit to the elevators, BBQ's, parking lot, shuffle board deck and Pickle Ball courts.. It feels like all of these amenities are yours privately because they are right outside your door. Most of the condo walls are made of solid cement which makes the complex very quiet. There is rarely any noise heard through the walls, floors or ceilings. Kamaole Beach 1, which is one block away is one the best beaches in Maui. This beach is literally a 3 minute walk and has bathrooms, lifeguards, grassy areas and rinse-off outdoor showers. Extras include beach towels, beach chairs and mats, ice chests, beach bags, beach umbrellas, kids beach toys, cards & games, port-a-crib, high chair, gas barbecue, pool, hot tub. Beach, shopping, and dining are a three minute walk (great for older kids). Centrally located on a private dead end street. Free off street parking is plentiful in the back parking lot. Full size oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator and dish washer. The full size clothes washer & dryer are in the condo. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, pancake griddle, crockpot, rice cooker, electric mixer, toaster, blender, pots and pans, all the items you expect to have in a kitchen. Wake up to the songs of tropical birds and roll over to see another wonderful Maui day. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea in your pajamas on the lanai and witness the sun rising behind you on the clear ten thousand foot Mt Haleakala. Gaze out straight ahead to watch the morning unfold to views of West Maui mountain, partial ocean views and sweeping panoramic views of the foothills and the cities in the distance. The condo was spacious and clean, with everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. There were ample towels and beach gear for the six of us. The air conditioning worked great and the ceiling fans kept us cool when the air wasn't on. Two bathrooms provided us with enough space to get ready for our nightly outings. We will definately keep this condo in mind for our next trip to Maui. Prayers for west Maui.

This is a nice place to stay but the check-in process was not. The Vrbo listing states check-in time is 3:00 PM and instructions emailed to me from the owner says check-in time is 2:00 PM. We arrived about 2:30 PM and the unit was still being cleaned. The cleaners said to come back in an hour which we did, but at 3:30 PM it was still not ready The cleaners said to me that their boss told them they had until 4:00 PM to get the unit cleaned. So we waited and then they finally were finished by 4:15 PM. I called the owner about this and left a voicemail suggesting she needs to update the check-in time and also asked her if there was any equipment available to play shuffleboard, but she never responded back.

We had a great experience at Carol's property. The location was incredible (short walk to beach), very clean property, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing. I'd stay here again.

We loved the condo! It’s spacious, clean, equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation and awesome location close to the beach. Our family of 4 adults, two children slept comfortably and enjoyed the pool and spa everyday. It was our first time in Maui and we loved every moment. The condo was well located to explore other parts of Maui plus lots of local eateries and shops were handy. Also having our own washer, dryer was fantastic. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I agree with other renters. Everything you need in for a stay in Kihei. Great air conditioning which we only needed intermittently. Large main lanai. Close to the parking area which made bringing luggage/groceries in very easy. The walk from the beach/shopping was steeper than other places we stayed but we were maybe being a bit wimpy. It is totally doable, and we chose to walk down and up more times than we used our rental car. This condo is so quiet (aside from the roosters but they are unavoidable). We definitely will be back. As will friends who stayed at another busier condo complex. Thank you Carol!

Carol was an amazing host, always responding quickly when I had questions. She went above and beyond trying to accommodate us when the airline changed our flight dates.
The condo is in the perfect location for access to the beach, restaurants and shopping in Kihei. For anyone with mobility issues, the condo is accessible by elevator and there are no stairs to get in to this particular condo. Because the complex is built going up and away from the ocean, different units are at different levels, so not all are accessible or have elevator access.
Parking is close, bbq’s are just steps away from the door and we used them and then ate on the lanai enjoying the ocean view. The condo is well equipped with everything needed for a vacation.
We loved our stay in Carol’s condo and would definitely stay here again if she would have us.

We LOVE this condo so much that we book it twice a year. Carol has been great to work with and extremely responsive to any questions or situations that arise (example leaking garbage disposal fixed very quickly)

The place was beautiful! It looks just like the photos, very clean. Everything you will need for you trip is in this condo, plus so added beach bonuses! Hosts are very nice and very responsive. I would definitely book here again in a heartbeat.

This was our first experience booking with vrbo, it was a seem less, no problem renting process.
We were very pleased with this condo the pics don’t show how fantastic it really is. Our family of 7, fit comfortably and we’re so very glad to have stayed here. The washer and dryer came in handy and the kitchen was well supplied. We would absolutely recommend this place for families to stay. All this and a partial ocean view. Loved it!!

Great location and property
We stayed here with our 5 children ages 11-18. The pull out couch provided plenty of sleeping space for all 7 of us. The location is great in Kihei with easy access to several close dining spots and loved the convenience of the free parking and quick check in for parking pass. This is a great spot for getting to Hana, Lahaina and close to the airport. The room provided 7 towels and had 2 coolers that could be used to keep drinks cool. Also had 7 beach chairs and some shovels and buckets. Very happy with the experience!

can’t say enough nice things about this place. most of the rental properties i’ve stayed in are “adequate” at best, but this space was incredibly comfortable (separate temperature controls for each bedroom and the living room was a plus), well-appointed, and well-stocked (yay for more than 4 forks! and a cabinet full of spices! and a bin full of beach toys! etc). huge countertop space was a bonus for the nights we stayed in and cooked. everything was exactly as described and communication with the host was excellent. location just a block from the ocean was perfect, but also having a rear unit near parking and grills was great. i will miss the sunsets from the lanai! we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was one level up from the parking area and the grills, pickleball and shuffleboard courts were just outside the unit with a great view of Haleakalā. The unit had individual a/c units that we only needed to use at night because there was a fabulous breeze everyday due to the tradewinds. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of seating for our family of 7. Plenty of coolers, beach chairs, toys and towels were provided. When we checked in, the closet door to the laundry area was off the hinges. I contacted the owner right away as the management company was closed due to a holiday and someone was out to fix it the next day.
We couldn’t figure out how to lock the sliding doors, but being on the third floor, we didn’t mind too much that they weren’t locked.
The only downfalls we found were that there was a cable box but not one local channel to watch and the hot water heater was so small that our whole crew of 7 couldn’t shower before dinner without someone (or two) getting a cold shower. A nice addition would be a place to lock up valuables.
Overall, we really enjoyed this property and would absolutely book it again.

It was very clean. It was also very very quiet. My only negative comment would be that the fridge handle was broken and had been commented on before that it was broken...so still not fixed. I also believe I saw a comment about the railing on the living room lani being broken. the rail was not attached on one section and that is a safty hazard and should be fixed immediately. Other than that I would stay here again. it was very pleasant, clean and very quiet.

The property has a near ideal location. It's about a block and a half from the beach, which from our surveying was the nicest beach in Kihei. It's on a private road and has ample parking. It's on the second floor, but is really close to the elevator; this was really important to us, as my in-laws have some mobility issues.
Check-in was about as easy as it gets. Get a door code from the owner, and register your car with the unmanned welcome office, and you're good to go. Took about five minutes, if that.
The complex was pretty nice too. I'm estimating there are 60 units, spread among four or five buildings. There's a community pool and hot tub in the center. It's just a couple minute walk and was never too crowded during our stay. There are some shared outdoor dining areas and tennis/shuffleboard courts, though we didn't use them. Finally, there are also outdoor gas grills, which are about 20 feet from the entrance to the condo -- super convenient!
As far as the unit, I feel like it is spot-on with the pictures. The beds and sofa were really comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The kitchen was well-stocked and we cooked most of our meals there. The balconies were fantastic -- my in-laws loved sitting out there for hours on end. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues (for example, the fridge door handle was broken), but the owner was very responsive, and a repair crew came out the next day. I'm not sure all the floors had been mopped before we arrived (the bottoms of our feet suggested not), but there are cleaning supplies in the unit and we took care of it in short order.
Honestly, for the price, this place was a fantastic find. Would go back in a heartbeat.

WOW!!!!!
This condo is GREAT! It was impeccably clean, felt at home immediately, liked that the grills were nearby, host was extremely responsive and LOVED that each bedroom had an AC. I am also finding that the availability of condos for a year out is becoming limited so do NOT delay in booking sooner than later.
