About this house rental
Nestled in Pacific City, this charming house for $395 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Ocean Front beach rental that's clean and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and open floor plan allows daylight throughout, while providing unobstructed views of Beautiful Sunsets and Haystack Rock. Views of the Pacific Ocean or Nestucca River from every window in the house. Amenities include a gas fireplace, sitting loft area with queen size hide-a-bed, wireless internet, TV & DVD player in both the main living space and upstairs bedroom, fully stocked and updated kitchen with eating island for family and social gatherings, partially wrapped deck on Ocean and North side of house, fishing/kayaking/crabbing along the Nestucca River. Located just minutes from downtown Pacific City where you will enjoy unique shopping, art galleries,restaurants and more. 1 mile beach walk to Cape Kiwanda and 1/2 mile to Bob Straub State Park. 2 Hour drive from Portland, Oregon

Beautiful spot, comfortable furnishings, rooms appeared clean and tidy, well-supplied kitchen, helpful owner, very enjoyable, would definitely recommend.

I think once all of stepped into the home we all said "wow". The view is amazing and was truly perfect for watching the waves during a stormy weekend.
We chose this home because we were treating our parents to a weekend at the beach; ages 83 - 92. The criteria was checked off with one having a view as well as bedrooms and bath on the main floor for them. There are steps up to the house (outside to front door is easier to negotiate than the ones from the garage), but once inside everything was on one level.
Everything in the home was VERY nice. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans - everything you need to cook meals. It was clean, tastefully decorated - nothing felt cheap.
You can walk down a short path to the beach however there is a steep sandy part. My 83 year old father did it but once was enough for him, lol. My husband and I enjoyed walking along the beach a couple of times a day.
There is a market close by and Pelican Brewery is only a mile away.
It was said many times a day by our party that it was the nicest place we had ever stayed. Thank you sharing this lovely home with us.

House was as described, good cookware/ stock in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and we had what we needed in the house. We have a 1 and 3 year old and it was not the best house for those ages because of the stairs and the upstairs loft area had slats that are wide apart and the 1 year old could have fit through them. We just watched the kids very closely but otherwise all was good. Beach access was close but moderately steep so challenging but doable with the kids and the stuff we had with us. Would stay at this house again.

Great view, great location, well maintained and clean home. Our family ranged was from 15 to 75 years old, different ages with slightly different needs. Sleeping spaces in upstairs bedroom was better for small children (cubby spaces), but not right for teens. Teens chose to sleep on sofas in basement to have their own space. Trail down to ocean was direct, but pretty steep drop off for older family members at end of the trail. Overall really nice space that we all really enjoyed.

We had a lovely time at this property. The kitchen was well appointed and the rooms were spacious. The deck was wonderful and a great place to spot whales. The beds were comfortable and we appreciate no one had to sleep in a single bed!

Cozy! Excellent view! Everything we needed was provided.
So grateful for our time there because 2 months after our stay, one of our family members that had joined us there, passed away very unexpectedly.
If there was one suggestion, it would be to put a handle rail going from the main floor down to the lower level.

We love PC and the kids love the sand dune. This location was lovely! Not too close to the dune but walking distance (albeit a little far for those with limited mobility). The little coves in the upper bedroom fit the younger kids great, nice touch. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great place, the owners have it well equipped. Great location, super views. Oregon beach life has ever changing weather. The house is comfortable even if the weather isn't. Oh, BTW, the ocean is cold.

We loved staying here! It's right on the beach so you can head out to the sand any time you like, or you can sit in the living room with the huge windows and watch the sunset, the haystack rock, or the whales breaching in the distance while birds fly above. It was a great place for our family, having laundry in-house and two markets nearby was helpful to pick up more food, drinks, bug spray, or sunscreen. Check-in was a snap and the check-out process is well documented and easy to follow. We loved it and are eager to visit again. Thank you Frank and Laura!

We had a short get away with our kids (6,6 and 2) and this house was great. The beach access is amazing and the house is spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and supplies. Internet worked great, the town is nice too.
We will be back for sure. Our kids loved the sand and the tide pools. Thank you for a lovely home!

And even though we found some great hikes with amazing views, our group always said- this doesn’t beat our beach house. We always hurried home to enjoy the sunsets from our own beach. The house had everything we needed and more. It felt like it was our home- stocked kitchen, supplies for laundry and cleaning, and comfortable beds. This was one of the best houses we have ever rented.

Location, Location, Location!
If you’re looking for an idea spot for you and your family to have a comfortable stay next to the beach this is it! The house was very clean and well suited for going back n forth to the beach which is very close. Loved the location being off of a main drag and the proximity to other activities on the coast (30 min to Tillamook/Lincoln City).
